We love Brad Roithner! We would prefer him to do all the jobs and not subcontract out. His subcontractors aren't as polite or communicative as Brad is. Brad is the one we trust.

I've used him before. The worker is the owner. It is a small operation. The price is good with good integrity. He's great. His prices are excellent. He did exactly what I needed him to do. He is a little busy.

The rotted wood that he tore off the house was left all over my backyard for me to clean up myself--I'm a 70 yr. old widow. The new wood he installed was left for me to caulk and prime and paint. He had taken the gutters down on three sides which are still laying all over the yard. The painters he contracted to hire said they didn't do windows or the back side of the wooden screens as part of the contract and Brad offered to finish up what they left undone. He needed $100 to buy paint to finish which I gave him--he made many promises to come by and finish and never did--I sent numerous e-mail asking for the $100 back but never got it. I consider it a really bad experience--plus when I was cleaning up the rotted wood I stepped on a board with a nail that went completely through my shoe and foot which didn't help my overall experience.

Because Brad (KB Woodworks) was a sub-contractor, I did not supervise his work directly. He worked as a lead on the finish work assigned to him. He often worked alone and was fully capable of working unsupervised. Brad fulfilled my expectations in terms of quality and professional manner. He appears to be very knowledgable on a variety of wood work details and offered suggestions to improve our project. He was on the job, part time, for approximately three weeks on and off as needed. I appreciate his ability to do a variety of work to very good standards. I was very pleased.
