He's very, very knowledgeable in what he was doing. He was just very good and a nice person. For what he did, the price was just about as I expected.

After an inefficient and lackluster customer service washer repair experience the previous week (since no one would respond on a weekend), I was glad to use an Angie's List provider when my dryer broke the next weekend. I called at 4pm on a Monday, hoping for an appointment the next morning. Well, luckily since I was south, they sent a technician by my house on his way back to the shop. Chance was thorough, honest, informative & took his time even though he didn't get to my house til 6pm. He cleaned my vent out and in the process identified that my dryer wasn't cycling properly. Said he didn't want to leave without making sure everything was fixed 100%. Identified that my thermostat was faulty & said he could come back first thing in the morning to replace it. He came by my house by 10am the next day and fixed it. What a stark contrast compared to my experience the week before! By replacing the thermostat, Chance fixed a problem I had had for a couple years, but thought it was just because my dryer was getting older. I will absolutely use South Austin Appliance Repair in the future. I actually plan to use them for my business, also. They were just excellent!

Chance, our provider did an excellent job, and actually did more for us than just getting repairing the washing machine. He took a lot of t ime and even came back the next day to do the preventative work mentioned above. If we ever have another problem with an appliance, we will call upon him!

After bad experiences with AHS taking 3 months to fix my dryer I was more than happy to accept this deal. The repair tech was very friendly and efficient. I would recommend this service provider to anybody.

Chance educated us on the residual water being a balance feature in early Neptune washers and suggested cleaning routine to insure cleanliness and clearance of blockages. South Austin Appliance Repair responded to our call in a timely manner (our usual and much more local contact told us we would have to wait 12 days). The repairman arrived when he said he would, and determined that a fuse had blown on the unit. He returned the next day with the fuse and replaced the old one. The repairman was friendly and informative about our dishwasher. We were hoping for responsive and professional service, and that is what South Austin Appliance Repair delivered.

I made a mistake and bought a 'scratch and dent' at a Lowe's store. Never again. After repair I have no basis to judge quality of repair because rent house was flooded by Onion Creek. Seems like the cost was above estimate.

I called the office and they checked with the technician. He was at my house with two hours of my first phone call. During the interim he went by the warehouse to pick up the needed part. When he arrived it was discovered that it was a different issue. He returned the next day and fixed the two issues with my refrigerator. Very courteous, prompt and efficient. I would recommend them for your appliance repairs.
