MAG Construction Management LLC

MAG Construction Management is remodeling my home. They began in April 2021 and have not completed as of June 2023. Despite the pandemic, the progress on my home has been excruciatingly slow and far beyond reasonable. It took 16 months just to start the framing, and this was only after I hired a lawyer. MAG's inability to meet deadlines and manage their project effectively has resulted in many costly mistakes. Poor communication and coordination led to issues with bedroom layouts, window placements, door orders, hood vents, HVAC, windows, and plumbing. This lack of attention to detail not only caused delays but also resulted in dangerous incidents such as digging through a gas line during construction. MAG's financial practices have been highly questionable. They failed to discuss any potential overages with me during the first 18 months of the project, only to present me with "change orders" totaling over $80,000 in unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. The mismanagement of their finances is highlighted by the multiple mechanic liens I received from their suppliers. This lack of transparency and accountability is completely unacceptable. Their incompetence has caused delays, expenses, and IMMENSE frustration. I strongly advise against engaging MAG Construction Management for any construction project.
