Excellent. I highly recommend Royce for home inspection services. He inspected 2 resale homes for us. He's a nice guy and he is extremely thorough when inspecting a house. Royce doesn't miss a thing! Royce is very easy to talk to (and while I don't like to bother contractors while they are doing their job), and is very approachable. During the inspection Royce spent the time to point out issues, discuss remedies, and answer our questions. We have bought and sold houses before so we are familiar with a typical inspection report. Simply said, we were wow'd by Royce's report. It's incredible! The reports he compiles are so thorough, so clear and detailed! Each item/issue is annotated with many photographs, making for easy reference. The report is invaluable. It helped us avoid buying a home where (while the house looked nice) basic maintenance was neglected. And, for the house we did buy, we will be sure to utilize the report for a routine maintenance guide. Royce is gracious to note that if we have any questions in the future...give him a call. I highly recommend Inspection Services of Austin for house inspection. If we are ever purchase another home we will use Royce's services.

I called Royce based on other Angie's List feedback and he certainly did not disappoint. We asked him to inspect a 3/2 1311 square foot home in South Austin that we are considering purchasing. Royce's report was 12 pages without photos and 53 pages with them. He took nearly 200 photos in all and caught things that we didn't even think to look for. When I compare his report to the one that the home-seller provided to us (which cost her more than Royce charged) it's really amazing how much stuff was overlooked (or missed completely) by the other guy. I feel that Royce's extremely thorough report has put us in a position to renegotiate the purchase price down to a more comfortable level. In terms of his professional behavior, Royce had already completed most of the report (and showed his draft to me) they day before we were supposed to meet. When we got there, he showed me everything that he had found in detail and explained why it was a potential issue and what kind of stuff might need to be done to remedy it. He even took off his shoes when he was inside the house so he wouldn't track mud. Never once did he pressure or attempt to persuade us to go with a "buddy" of his like some inspectors have done in the past. Really, I can't recommend this guy enough! If you're buying a new home in Austin I don't think you can get a report as comprehensive as his.

Mr. Moore was professional, responsive, and helpful. He contacted the seller to arrange the inspection and worked late to complete the report following the inspection. He was available for questions and concerns regarding the report. He was easy to reach via email and phone. Inspection Services of Austin is truly Austin's BEST inspection company .

Better than I could have expected. Royce Moore was punctual, professional ans provided me with explanations of what he was looking for and why, as well as inside tips on maintaining and repairing different areas of the home. He made good recommendations and made me feel secure in my decision to buy this home

When I arrived (five minutes late at most), Royce was sitting on the porch, having already completed the inspection. He spent another hour walking my Realtor and I around the house and the property, discussing all of his findings and answering our questions in detail. He gave us his opinions on grey-area matters like how much longer the roof could go without being replaced and the best way to address what he felt were the most immediate safety issues. He discussed the reputations of local contractors with my Realtor and gave his recommendations, and also gave ballpark figures on what he thought repairs should cost. He emailed me the report the same evening, complete with tons of photos of things we hadn't seen while walking around, like the problems underneath the house. Even though we knew going in the home was going to be a mess and we weren't in a position to ask for repairs or a reduction in price, he was completely thorough. I was very impressed by his knowledge, helpfulness, and professionalism.

They provided a very detailed list of inspection items and then they followed-up with the builder to make sure all items were understood.

He was responsive, prompt, professional and fair. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Royce arrived promptly at the time we agreed upon and proceeded with the inspection. The outside of the property was inspected first and when it was time to enter the home, he removed his shoes prior to doing so. The inspection took over three hours, including time to discuss his findings. By the end of the day, we had a written report sent to us via email.
