Description of Work: We needed a complete yard makeover. Caroline from Diamondscape came out before we moved into the house and we scheduled Phase 1, cleanup overgrowth and pruning existing trees and bushes back. She also provided us with a comprehensive landscape design for Phase 2. Phase 2 began with the complete makeover to include building retaining walls, the addition of flagstone in several areas, prepping for planting beds, and smoothing the existing yard out and spreading literally tons of dirt for sod. Once that was complete, the plants and sod was delivered and installed. Caroline listened to our needs and was helpful in making sure we ended up with a beautiful yard for our investment.

Description of Work: Diamondscape always shows up on schedule, performs our required maintenance and clean-up. Since we live on a multi-acre lot, we need a clearance of the entire lot twice a year. Diamondscape performs that job perfectly.

Description of Work: we've used Diamscape for some time now. They did our initial landscaping of plants and flowers and planting of multiple trees and grass. The products they used were all in great shape. They even replaced a tree that they planted that faultered at their cost. They now perform weekly lawn maintenance and they do a really great job. The yard and side-walks and driveway is always blown off and looks really great when they leave.

Description of Work: We have been working with Diamondscape since November 2007. Caroline, the owner, worked with us to create a master plan at that time—one designed to resolve a number of issues--soil erosion---our lot has a deep slope across the front, unsightly exposed foundation, overgrown shrubs, “nuisance” trees, patchy lawn, and lack of privacy to adjacent homes, to name a few. Working in phases with Diamondscape, we have been implementing the plan ever since and are delighted with the results. Work completed to date includes a new retaining wall and rock bordered beds, soil amendment, tree, shrub and plant installation, areas of new sod, and a sprinkler system It incorporates native, deer-resistant, drought-tolerant plants in a low-maintenance design. It is a pleasure to work with Caroline, and her staff and crew. They also take care of our yard (mowing, aeration, mulching) and the same crew show up every time, all employees--no pick-up labor. We heartily recommend Diamondscape.

Description of Work: I engaged with a company called Diamondscape Inc. We best had them perform the landscaping as well. They also came out and evaluated the property and drew up plans. They did my front yard in October and the completion for the backyard just this last April. The last time they were here, they transformed my yard. There was a repair to an existing sprinkler system, installation of about five small trees, numerous bushes, plants and basically treated the lawn that was in the front yard. They also replaced some patches with sod, molt. They also put in a patio in the backyard. That was from the previous September. They put in some other flag stones in the patio in the backyard.

Description of Work: We met Caroline at the Austin Home and Garden Show in January, 2013 and were impressed with her knowledge. She came to our house to assess our yard and recommend enhancements (consult fee of $200 was discounted 50% as a show discount). Caroline was willing to work around our schedule to set up meeting times, listened to our needs and preferences, and came up with a fantastic plan for resodding our back yard, removing undesirable plants, and replacing them with attractive but drought tolerant varieties. The work was done professionally, and we are thrilled with the finished product! I highly recommend Diamondscape for landscape design and installation.

Description of Work: I started working with this company in 2007 when I did some remodeling on the house. They completely re-designed my landscaping and consulted with my general contractor, making suggestions on some of the construction. Caroline Foley proposed some rock work using Pecos stone that really makes my house look unique and attractive. She is very creative and hemphasized the use of plants that require little water and that are annuals. I should point out that my estimate of how much I spent is from the initial design and installation work Diamondscape did, and does not include the cost of their ongoing maintenance service (or extra jobs such as removing a tree felled in an ice storm) over the years. Also, some of the initial work was done by my contractor at an additional expense rather than by Diamondscape, but Diamondscape worked well with my contractor in a consulting role. My contractor is the person who recommended Diamondscape to me in the first place since he had worked with the owner before and admired her professionalism and creativity.

Description of Work: I first used Diamondscape's services over 2 years ago during a home remodeling project. The owner, Carolyn Foley, helped me re-design my landscaping, install a new sprinkler system and establish some outdoor lighting. She included the idea of using various sizes of Pecos stone, landscape boulders and xeriscape plants. My yard turned out beautifully and I have, since then, used her company to mow my lawn, replace trees felled by ice or hail storms, mulch plants, aerate my yard,and to plant varied plants in large outdoor pots that I care for.

Description of Work: Diamondscape takes care of our two acres. They come on a weekly basis during the spring and summer and twice a month during the fall & winter. They mow, edge, and finish by using a leaf blower to clean up the debris. They also use the leaf blower on our deck every time they come.
