+ -1 moreIt went very well - not only did the tech fix everything quickly and perfectly, was also able to consult on other ceiling fans and some outside lighting fixtures for next time. Very good to handle the items that a DIY might be able to do, but prehaps should not. They were on time, in uniform, with experienced/professional handyman. They obviously knew their business. A bit pricey, but you get quality and no worry in exchange. To help with the price - have your to-do list ready with backup items if you have more time and go ahead an purchase any parts yourself. Have these ready beforehand to make best use of their time. I would hire them again.

+ 2 moreExcellent, job well done, and it was quick. He spent in total 4 hours that also include a run to the store where we don't have, but he was back, he fixed everything and didn't waste anytime. I would say job well done.
Description of Work: Bathroom fixture, sealed the bathroom area, fixed window doors that slided when open, ripped off part of door's weather strip, fixed cracked tile floor.

Description of Work: Mr Handyman of The Woodlands assembled a table for us, power washed our house. He made a little key chain deal on us for our little nooks in the house, little odd things we needed done. A little key hole thing he made for our front door.

+ 3 moreHe did a great job! The work looks so good and Greg is knowledgeable and efficient. He worked steadily for several hours over 3 days to get our punch list complete. He is friendly, respectful of your home and possessions and cleaned up thoroughly each day before leaving. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and Greg especially to my family, friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: We are putting house up for sale and need help with all the projects to get it in shape to show. Greg Wilson, our technician installed ceiling fans, changed out light fixtures, caulked tub, painted 2 bathrooms and painted many walls. He did carpentry on our fireplace box and repainted that.

The handyman showed up on time and presented himself in a very professional manner. During the job, he was very respectful of my home. The work was high-quality and upon completion, the work area was as clean as when he started. During the job, the owner stopped by, as agreed, to quote a couple other projects I have planned. He was helpful in scoping a few items that I had not thought about. I was very satisfied with the experience and plan to use Mr. Handyman of The Woodlands in the future.

+ -1 moreIan arrived exactly on time and promptly started to work on the gutters while I took my kids to soccer camp. By the time I got back he was almost finished. He did a great job cleaning the gutters and cleaning up what he cleaned out of the gutters. John arrived shortly after to help hang the heavy dining room mirror and wall organizers. They made sure everything was centered and level and hung to my satisfaction. They were professional and pleasant.

+ -1 moreThe contractor was great, knew what he was doing, did say was being paid by the hour, so he drug it out, and we ended up paying more than should of. Light replacements are easy, patching holes in sheetrock, along the grouting around some tile places, didn't get to them or caulking inside and threasholds. As for paint touch up, in kitchen and master bedroom, very good. Larry was a great and smart contractor, knew exactly what he was doing. But jobs should be done by job, not hourly and if hourly, for people who are disabled, must give more of understanding, limited budget, and not able to accomplish all needed. To pay a contractor by the hour per job, when not giving them enough jobs, is a good way to loose great help. My advice is to pay them for the day for promptly showing up, and the courtesy of Larry. Per husband, he will not pay your initial fee, and by the hours. We want someone in and out. Again, Larry was great, and gave us some great ideas. We can not not afford you.
Description of Work: Changed out light fixtures in Master bath, and kitchen, reparied holdes from fixtures and touched up on paint. Some sanding was needed. Grouted floor tile around corners where they were not done by builder. Caulked outside. Adjusted celing fain in Master Bedroom, but said it needed to be replaced, only operates on 2 speeds, also asked for estimate of time for threasholds, which I had expected to get done that day, paint guest bath, and office, and maybe some ceiling paint. Tried to match builder paint, but did not come out same, but he did a great job of making it not so noticable. Also, wanted estimate on time to install flood light for back yard and back porch light, along with swith on same wall where switch already on other side of wall. He made a great suggestion on how to heat and cool back porch, however, not able to do at moment. Pricing by the hour, and a minimum of 2 is not fair to the contractor or customer. Therefore, time ran out for all things we wanted done and we are not able to afford the 2 hour minimum.

+ -1 moreSteven did an excellent job. He pointed out different things, such as the reason the garage blinds had not originally been hung correctly, and he cleaned up his work area when done. The 3 jobs took less than 2 hours, but I wasn't prepared to have him do anything else that morning. I will be calling them to re-stain my front door and do some dry wall work. I highly recommend them. Their services list covers just about everything - and it was obvious that Steven is very experienced.
Description of Work: They completed 3 jobs: 1) hung new blinds in the den, 2) re-hung blinds that had fallen in the garage, and 3) assembled some fitness equipment.

+ 0 moreI work so it worked really well. I met him early in the morning and showed him what I wanted done. When I got back it was done. They charge $200 per hour. It was expensive but at least it got done well. He was very professional and very attentive. It was a new mailbox but he said there was a little dent in it and he wanted to be sure that I saw that before I left. He was very thorough and told me what he was going to do. It wasn't a big thing but I couldn't do it. He explained it and he didn't have to be in the house. It worked out really well. They are a little pricey.

Description of Work: I had an interior wooden staircase that needed repair due to prior shoddy workmanship. The bottom step had collapsed and needed to be rebuilt. Other steps needed to be tightened and screwed into the frame again.
