Mr. Handyman of The Woodlands

Julian spent two hours at our home replacing worn grout with caulk. He scraped and cleaned each location, then applied caulk. I showed him the areas of concern...he took care of those areas and took it a step further and caulked additional areas that would soon be giving us trouble. During our conversation I told him that he was a very neat person and very picky. He laughed and agreed. In our kitchen he put down a heavy drop cloth next to the sink and kept all his equipment on that cloth. I like that this company runs background checks on all their service men and require each to be an expert in their field. I had a very pleasant experience and look forward to doing business with them again.

Due to the various twists and turns of the actual duct work James with Mr. Handyman decided that for ease of future cleaning not one but two access panels needed to be installed under the stairwell where two elbows were located. James installed the panels which are almost unnoticeable in the ceiling of the small storage area under the stairs. He cleaned the area after he was done and the dryer works so much better now. While this job took place over three visits, I would like to mention that on the last visit James came on the day after New Years which was a company holiday for him and completed the job.

Excellent work, excellent service. John came out to personally make sure work was going well. Did research on how to best repair the garage door and came up with a very good, lower cost solution. I have recommended them to my neighbors. Very, very good job

Julian, the Service Technician, arrived on time with all tools required to do the desired work. He was professional and quite knowledgeable in all areas pertaining to the work. We were also impressed with his overall approach to the tasks and ability to resolve a variety of issues.

Easy to schedule an appointment, tech showed up on time and ready to work. Took a bit longer than I expected but overall happy with the work done and would hire again. Business owner did stop by to see work but I was not there but I did talk with him on the phone and it was nice that he took the time to call and go over their work.

Always goes well with this company. The owner either comes by during the work or after to double check on everything.

He does not do work in Montgomery.

Zane was great. He came out at the time he said. He was very professional and a joy to work with. He replaced a chandelier in my dining room with another beautiful chandelier. I will use Mr. Handyman of the Woodlands for future projects. They are very good.

We were very happy with him. He was very nice and did a very nice job. Our door was cockeyed from some other work that we had done with somebody else. He took the door out and reset it.

The technician was on time. He came in and looked at the jobs. I showed him what I needed and he gave me some options and advised me on what he thought would be best. (I had wanted a black caulking on one part of the shower but he said it would have to be grout to be black; silicone (water-proof) caulking only came in white or colorless.) He had everything that he needed with him and did not have to run and get anything. He finished the downstairs caulking and the outside sealing and my son told me that his bathroom needed some caulking work, as well. The technician fixed that caulking problem and still had fifteen minutes left over. For what I got done, he was probably worth the money. ($228 for first two hours; $44 for each addnl half hour). He said that their technicians have a minimum of 15 years experience. When I mentioned that they were expensive to the person coordinating the visit, she said that you get what you pay for, her workers were bonded and had sufficient experience to be able to do the jobs well. Before calling them, I would get a list of a few things to do because there is a two hour minimum. The technician that came out (Julian) knew what he was doing and I felt comfortable working with him. One downside is that they only work weekdays, 8-5 and you will need to make arrangements to be there to let them in your house. They came on Good Friday so I was off and was able to be there while he was working.

Very responsive and reasonable price. They were on-time and did the work quickly and professionally. Definitely would use them again.

All work was done efficient and quick. Handyman had all the tools, was friendly and professional.

This was an amazing experience. I took photos of the work I needed done at my home..I was give an estimate and we scheduled the date and Ian was right on time. Not only did they meet my expectations..they exceeded them. Ian can do anything and can explain my options. John the owner also stopped by to check on how things were going. I had several things done inside the house like replacing a light fixture, adjust a door that didnt close properly, put up my base boards in the hallway, repair and paint the dog scratches on my wooden door, screen repair and outdoor latch and fix the gate ...and much more. I've got him coming back to take care of replacing some wood rot and paint...I'm so glad I found these guys, they will be doing all my 'honey-Dos' in the future!

The man they sent out was very polite and professional. He did a good job within the time frame for which he was hired. He had to come back to adjust one of the drawers, but it was no problem and the company was very quick to respond to my request for the follow up work. I would use them again. The only reason I did not give them all A's is that I thought their minimum charge was a bit high. But, after using them I think it is probably worth it.

All went well in spite of all of the start and stop due to me not the service provider. Dan Moore is very easy going and easy to work with in light of adverse circumstances surrounding tough decisions made about work needed to basically salvage the house such that more work in the future would not be wasted effort.

I have used these guys a few times - dependable service and professional always. They are pricey but the work is done once and done right. I have not tried them on any big projects, so I am not sure how they perform. But if you know what to do and need a professional handyman to do it - these guys are perfect. I plan to use them again shortly.

Contractor was friendly & courteous. He had some difficulty installing the shelf in my daughters room but in the end he got it up. Otherwise all went well.

Steven turned up exactly on time, gave some creative ideas how best to carry out the works to reduce materials and improve visual appeal. He managed to fix everything - mechanical, drywall and electrical items himself in one visit and was courteous & professional throughout. I will use Mr Handyman again and recommend to others. In fact - I called back one week later to ask could Mr Handyman help with inspecting/clearing a blocked underground gasline and they were very frank about their areas of specialisation & their chances of success with this task and instead referred me to a specialist provider - I really appreciate the openness and transparency that represents - not taking on non-core work for the sake of another dollar - a refreshing change!

rk withOur Mr. Handyman has been to our home about 7 times in the past 5 months. He can do just about anything, and has. He is a great problem solver, and troubleshooter and has a lot of patience. He works quickly, but never rushes, and does it right the very first time. He calls for help if he needs it. He is always on time, very cordial and fun to work with!

Expensive but first quality and flexible in terms of what you want done.

The handyman knew his stuff & I was satisfied with the work on the whole. He gave me useful information. However, due to the high hourly rate I could not have him complete my extensive list.

It went great - team was very professional and worked around my little kids - they cleaned up every day and made special sure there were no nails or tools that could harm them. There were some delays due to holiday, etc. but nothing extreme. I have verbally recommended this company to over 6 friends of mine....great, hard, trustworthy people!

Tommy arrived on time with a cheerful smile. Work was done in a professional manner. I'm very pleased with the work completed.

I called the day before service was needed by a client of mine. They provided excellent service from the first phone call to completion of service. I then hired them for myself and they once again delivered top-notch service. They have a 2-hour minimum and I believe the hanging and installation of my two tv mounts and tv's could have been done within that time. The guy worked about as slowly as I've ever seen anyone work and the job took over 4 hours. He did great work, but I would hesitate to enter into another 'pay by the hour' job with them because of this experience. If they could improve on that aspect of how they charge for their work, I would use them all the time.
