We had our original gutters for 28 years. Our trees had grown and the weight of the torrential rain off the roof made the nails break and gutters sag. After soliciting several quotes we settled on Modern Roofing to install new gutters with Rhino leaf covers. The Rhino covers are designed to let the water in and keep tree debris out and Modern Roofing came with samples of their product (I could see and feel what I was getting for my money). They are made of a stainless steel and aluminum. Modern Roofing came to survey the job when they said they would and provided a clear estimate of the intended work. They arrived to do the work as planned, installed the new gutters and covers neatly, and cleaned up any mess and took it with them. The job was supervised at appropriate points to make sure we were satisfied with the workmanship. Modern Roofing did a quality job.

Nick is the owner and is very responsive in getting back to you to schedule an appointment. Shortly after I spoke with Nick his office called and scheduled an appointment. They were able to get out to my house within three business days and complete the work. The workers are very professional and did a great job. Even though this was a small job Nick showed up to ensure that the work was done well and we were satisfied. We will use Modern Roofing in the future and recommend them for anyone's roofing needs.

I was not present for the work but my wife was very pleased with the response and professionalism exhibited. They cleaned the gutters as promised (Angie's List special deal). During the cleaning the technician noticed a few damaged shingles on our roof. They came back out the next day and replaced them for a minor fee of $100.

The initial scheduling was challenging. It didn't seem like they wanted to commit to a certain day. We finally got it set though and the guy came out in the morning, went onto the roof, and then showed us pictures of areas that needed to be repaired. He told us he had to leave for another job but that he'd call back to let us know if the other guy could come out and perform the work later that day. Around 6pm he still hadn't called so my husband called him. He hadn't done anything yet but said he'd go ahead and call the other guy at that time to see if he had time to make it out. Around 7pm, someone knocked on the door and said they were fromt he roofing company. I did my best to explain to the guy what was going on and then he went up onto the roof to perform the work. I called the first guy back to confirm that the man at my house was one of his workers and he assured me that he was and that he did good work. After performing the work, the man was leaving and I asked for a receipt. He told me he had no way to provide me with one and that I'd have to get one from the first guy. Originally, the company was going to charge me extra for the repairs but due to the experience I had they didn't end up charging extra. The work was good but the experience was weird and not very professional.

I purchased an advertised deal for $99. Modern Roofing contacted me timely, we quickly agreed on the timing of the work and they showed up as promised. The gutters are 20 years old and were showing signs of their age. Modern Roofing reattached the gutters as needed. Overall I am very happy with their work and will use them again.

I thing that Nick went about and beyond in helping me achieve the goal I was look for with the house. He was very professional, polite, and courteous, and I couldn't have been more pleased that it was Modern Roofer that I choose and I use them again and tell my friends about them.

Modern Roofing was a pleasure to work with. Nick came out and we walked through all the issues one by one. He then reviewed each item and what each would cost. We discussed several options available to fix the roofing flange damage caused by squirrels. When we finalized what work items were going to be performed, he gave me a full estimate. They performed the work on time and more importantly within budget. All employee's of modern roofing were very thorough and polite. There was a little more work than I was initially quoted for that came up while they were working and I was not charged extra! They completed the job and sent an invoice to my email and called to ask what I thought about the work. I will choose family owned small businesses from now on over the larger firms. They show that they really care about the issues and want to resolve them, I would HIGHLY recommend this company.

It went great. Nick was very responsive and was able to get to my house very quickly after we spoke and make the necessary repairs. He also found some shingles with holes in them and came back the next day to repair them. He didn't have the shingles on his truck, so had to come back the next day. He showed me the holes in the shingles and his quick fix likely saved me thousands in long term damages avoided.

He was very polite and explain everything he was going to do and told me about things I didn't even know about roofs in this area of the country.

Nick and Cesar did an excellent and timely job for the cost. Nick took photos of all repairs needed and explained them to me in great detail.

I am afraid i do not know or can't remember the name of the things they replaced. But they did a great job -- Fantastic company-have already referred them to a neighbor -- would not hesitate to do business with them again.

They arrived on time. Inspected the roof and made minor touch ups which was included in the $99 deal. Informed us of some issues with shingles missing and a few other minor issues. Gave us a quote of $150, which I felt was very reasonable. They scheduled another day for the repairs. Repairman showed up on time and completed the work. Each visit they were very professional. We would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Once I purchased the deal I sent a note via Angies list to schedule an appointment. Unfortunately I needed to follow up with a call which then secured an appointment. Since I have had issues waiting around for contractors who made appointments and do not show in the past, I prefer when they call to confirm. Modern Roofing did not contact me to confirm but when I called they were friendly and apologetic. Ultimately they indicated they would be there and came out to the house per the appointment. When they arrived for the appointment the son of the owner introduced himself and explained what he was going to do. He went on the roof and performed his inspection. He identified some items that he wanted to show me but I did not go on the roof so he took photo's on his phone and discussed the problem, the solution, and the likelihood of failure. There were some items that needed some attention but he was not in a position to attend to them at that point. We discussed the next steps and schedule a return visit. Unfortunately the discussed return time did not work out and I needed to follow up. I was not able to reach anyone in the office but sent a note via Angies list. The son responded within an acceptable time frame to apologize (his two laborers were on another job) and advised of the return availability. I understood and we agreed to a new appointment. Even though getting the company to come back took a few attempts, they were courteous and still returned within the same week. I believe the the son was honest and that they were just running behind. When the crew arrived the lead discussed what he was going to do and got to it. He seemed to work on the items discussed and completed the activities timely. While the communication with the office was a little bit challenging (timeliness and follow up), I feel the overall responsiveness was good. It all worked out in a reasonable time. The son was nice and I felt the discussion we had was honest and open.

Modern Roofing was very professional. They came and quoted the job quickly, gave me all the information I requested, and started the job as soon as I received the deed restriction approvals. They did a great job on the roof and replacing the gulleys and fans and vents, and cleaned up completely. They were careful and did not trample anything in the flower beds.

This team did an excellent job. They were very professional, arrived on time, explained what they would be doing and answered all our questions. Worked steadily and efficiently. Cleaned up the work area thoroughly and took away all the debris. Plan on using them again when the need arises.

They did a fantastic job and my house looks great. They were very flexible. I was working longer hours than normal and they were willing to come out later than normal in order to give me a quote. There were tougher spots on the house which others told me they would not be able to get off yet they spent the extra time to make sure they could. I would highly recommend this company.
