Services have not been provided due to inability to reach the provider.

This is a follow-up post. I just received a $275 bill for services never performed. My contact didn't communicate. The Office eventually called to schedule and when they didn't show I called and they rescheduled. Didn't show up either time. Cost me two-days income waiting around for them. Careful! These are bad operators.

Scheduled service twice and roofer never showed up. Called office and they have endless excuse: ur appointment mistakenly deleted, roofer had death in family, roofer got damage to his personal home. Finally roofer came randomly without appointment and told us that he already performed work and no issues(trespassing property). Finally I have to call Angie's to cancel pre paid service. Hired some other roofer to fix problem. It's was a nightmare with them. I picked modern roofing because they had 250+ A rating on Angie's. Not sure how that is possible. Wonder if these were made up rating.

Fantastic!!! They came immediately to assess the damage. Had to correct shingles by the next morn and completed the repairs before lunch.

This company had a special on Angie's List for a Three-Story Roof Tune-U. I called them to ensure availability, and they said the could not get to me this week but had availabilities the following week. They told me to purchase the Angie's List coupon and then call to schedule the apt. I purchase the coupon and called them back the next day. A woman answered (elderly, seemingly the same person I spoke with before), and said she would need to check the schedule and would call me back. Then nothing. I called them again a couple of days later, and she said that I'd been scheduled for that Thursday (no choice of apt, no phone call to let me know when I'd been scheduled or to check my availability!). I stayed home from work that Thursday, and called them that morning to confirm the apt. I called several times but was always sent straight to voicemail. Of course, they no-showed. I called them the next day and left a vm asking them to explain, and nothing. Of course, I will be contacting Angie's List for a refund. What a pain.

Any form of communication would have been nice. They did not respond to my multiple calls/emails.

Got an appointment within a week of initial call. Nick Shirley did roof assessment. No pressure to do further services. He did all the caulking we discussed and showed pictures of his work. Then above and beyond, he trimmed and nailed down the flashing in several places where needed. Proof of workmanship: We survived Hurricane Harvey with no leaks!

High quality, clean, professional, courteous. That is how you want people working for you to perform. And they did.

Everything went well. Workers completed the job in an afternoon. No problems.

They did a great job as far as I can tell.

My rating is actually B+. Reasonably well. High quality work and materials. I liked their installation system and solution for guttering problem. Very easy to work with. A little confusion in communication about when installers were to come when we changed the dates. They showed up at the earlier date, but no problem. They moved on to their next job.

Had to call them to schedule They promised a report with pictures of the roof. Never sent it. I had to go up on the roof to see if they actually came and they did cause I saw fresh seals

Fantastic. This was the first time i used them but it was great. No mess! They cleaned from the top, bagged and carried. Very polite. I was shocked it was a one man crew but yes i would hire them again.

Modern Roofing is reasonable and did great work.

They where difficult to reach. They where difficult to get in contact with. I leave messages and no one returns my call. I don't want to say someone is lying but they are saying they did work they could not have done on my home.

The guys did a great job. I have used them before and I am a repeat customer.

Came out to evaluation. Very professional and prompt, but never received quote for initial leak, or upgrades that we discussed. I even called to check status and remind of need for quote. Was told by office they would "resend" as they must have my email wrong. Never received through email of Angie's List communication. My intent was to use them given positive reviews, and professionalism at meeting. Never given quote or opportunity to use their services.

We've been unable to reach them. We've left messages and have heard nothing back. They did not do what they were supposed to do. We wouldn't use this company again.

The service person arrived on time. Told me the work he was going to do and how long it would take. I recommend them to anyone needing gutting cleaning and/or repair.

He came in to look at where I'd seen water marks on the ceiling. Went outside and determined where the leaks were coming from. Added a couple of shingles in the two places I'd pointed out. Upon completion, I came outside. They were putting away their ladder and materials and pointed to the roof locations where they'd done the work. I asked about a section on the ridge that was missing a section of shingles. I could see it from the ground. I pointed it out to the roofer (who didn't speak or understand English very well), he acknowledged that he could see it, too, and said his boss would call me. He went back to his truck and that was that. I expected that he would go back up and do whatever minor repair it would take to fix it, but he didn't. And the boss never called.

It was great. He was punctual. Got up on the roof and looked at what I thought the problem was, then crawled through the attic to make sure that was the problem. He was actually able to fix it that day, and I paid a very fair price.

Nick and his team are very professional and very responsive. They replaced our roof in APR 2016. During the process, our patio was cracked. Nick took the time to replace the flagstone pieces. The job was done in 5 days. The crew was very diligent. I would highly recommended them.

Ok, they did some roof repair and quoted me 20,000 for replacing 20 sq ft flat roof which is crazy, which I found another roofer did it for less than $2000 after that.

They did an excellent job. It did take a few calls to get them to come out but once they did they did a great job! Every thing seems to be going fine!
