It went very well. Arrived on time and performed the repairs necessary for us to fulfill buyer requests on a house that we were selling. It was a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for roof repairs.

I was extremely impressed with Andrew's honesty about where the leak was coming from after a thorough inspection. I am very grateful that this company hires people that are not only reliable, and professional but also have tremendous integrity. This was an excellent experience.

All went smoothly. He did a really great job. We are so pleased with this company. It's comforting to know if something goes wrong with the roof we have someone we can trust. They are competent and fair in their pricing.

After purchasing a deal with Modern Roofing through Angie's List, I didn't receive a call from the vendor to schedule service. I ended up calling them. They apologized and said I somehow slipped through the cracks. Once I got the service scheduled, everything went smoothly. The employee did a good job thoroughly cleaning all the gutters and removing any mess left behind in the lawn. I was satisfied with the service performed.

Had some difficulty with scheduling and the company sending out a tech when agreed upon. But once they were out, went fine.

Great! Re-attached large section of gutter that had loosened and separated from the eave.

I have had to chase down Modern Roofing to get them to come out to look at my house. I purchased the coupon from Angie's List for Modern Roofing. The first time making the appointment to come to my house, they did not show. They called the next day and wanted to come out, I was unavailable, but made a follow-up appointment. They never called or showed up. I had to AGAIN contact them. They responded and finally sent someone out to my house to look at my roof. He took photos and gave me a verbal run through of what would need to be fixed. It has now been a week with no follow-up. I do not have a quote and I've already spent $100 of my money on a coupon for work that looks like will never be followed through on. I'm very disappointed!

I purchased the roof tune up special. Even though my roof is only 5 years old, with the hail and weather, I wanted a professional to make sure all looks good before the fall and rain season. He caulked some areas, gave a report. I feel good the roof is still in good shape.

We appreciated the integrity of this company in that they were up front about our not really needing a roof replacement. Based on this we had them install gutters for parts of our house. Again, they were honest, advising us not to go with their rather expensive covers but offering to cover the gutters with what we already had on some other parts of our house. Their quality on the gutters was very good. The covers are a bit shaky because they are not used to working with them, but I know a call to them will get this addressed if it becomes an issue (minor cosmetic issue at this point). I will gladly do business with this company again and plan to call them first when we do need a new roof.

My purchase was missed so it took a little while to get scheduled, which was not a big deal since it was gutter cleaning. When I called the person got me scheduled right away due to the missed purchase. The guy that showed up did a decent job cleaning and supposedly took pictures of some areas ofy roof. But I have not seen the pictures, nor heard from anyone about any further needs. Just seems like I was forgotten in every way.

did a good job re-caulking a short section of old/bad one that leaks. We've got a metal roof. he took some photos showing some loosing screws, and said would send us a quote for fixing them. never heard from them since.

Nick Shirley was my contact for the project. He was in contact with me shortly after I called the company for an estimate to come out and look at my roof. His crew was very polite and respectful. He climbed up on the roof, inspected it and laid it all out for me as to what he saw and could possibly be the issue. They replaced approximately 15 shingles, caulked some nail holes, vents and jack boots. After they were finished his crew took some magnet and ran it across my roof, gutters and driveway to make sure nothing could puncture my tires. These guys were very professional and I have sent them business from one of my friends as well. If I ever have any other issues concerning my roof, I will call these guys for certain.

I purchased the deal on 6/13/15 and requested service dates on 6/16-17-18/15. They responded and asked for my email and phone number on 6/15/15. I sent it that day. No response by 6/22/15 so I sent another message. They replied that day and said they did not have anything available until 7/6/15. I thought that was a long wait and said I would have to reconsider. The next day they said I could call Angie's List for a refund. They apologized for the delay in providing the service, and said it was due to the volume of orders from the deal. I do not remember confirming an appointment for 7/6/15 so I was gone on that day and my wife said someone from their company showed up to do that work. I also noticed a voice message they left to let me know they were coming. However, I was not available to listen to that message until after they showed up. My wife did not know about this, so she would not let them in. No one answered when I returned the call so I left a voice message. No one returned my call. So I sent a message via Angie's List and they responded the next day. We agreed on a new appointment for 7/9/15. When the person from the company arrived I showed him where we needed a short gutter installed. He said the deal did not include a new installation, just replacement. That is not how I read the deal, but I did not see any reason to argue with him. I just asked him if they could provide an estimate and apply the $99 to that work if we agreed on a good price. I went back into my office to work, expecting him to see me before he left but when I went outside he was gone. He may have spoken to my wife, but he left nothing and I have not heard anything from the company since 7/9/15. On 7/21/15 I sent another message via Angie's List asking for the estimate or a resolution. I did not receive a reply. I did not think much about this until recently and sent another message on 9/8/15. Still no reply. So now I have contacted Angie's List to ask for a refund of the $99 since they have not provided any service.

It was great. They were on time and did the work in a timely manner. Provided a report with pictures. Made recommendations.

I initially was not impressed with this Company. On August 28th Joe came out to check out my roof and review the repairs I would need. I gave him the type of shingle that was on the roof and the color. He said that he would be back out the next morning before 10 or call to let me know when he would be able to do the job. I waited for him on the 29th, he did not call,he did not answer his cell phone and he did not return my call. On the 31st I called again and my call went directly to voice mail. Before requesting a refund from Angies list, I called again on Wednesday. The woman who answered my call was very helpful and apologetic about the circumstance. She mention they were overwhelmed with the amount of calls and that she would ensure that someone would be out on Thursday. Nick came out as scheduled and repaired all the issues within an hour. He took before and aftr pictures and said he would be interested in any future work I might need. I was very impressed with him. Weather and time will tell if all repairs were caught and fixed. If not, I will call them again. Great job Nick! And Angie.....I won't be needing that refund! Melissa

They also sealed around the base of each penetration, to prevent future leaks. We plan to go back to them for more work in the future.

First of all, no appointment was made. I provided my phone number and email address as requested so we could schedule. Then next thing I know is I receive a message via Angie's list on 7/23/2015 stating "we are on for today". This message did not state a time window or anything. Luckily my schedule could afford for me to sit at home and just wait on the worker to arrive. The employee finally arrived, and I pointed out what I saw from the ground to be an issue. He said he could climb on the roof, check everything out, service as needed, take pictures and let me know what he finds. In less than 30 minutes he is finished. Comes down with photos, stating the roof has issues and rot. I asked him to provide me a written estimate with the pictures. To this day there has been no estimate or any further contact. So I paid for just a roof tune up..which in less than 30 minutes I am not really sure what if anything he did. It's not like I can or want to climb on my roof in the Texas heat of summer to double check his work. I shouldn't have to!

I contacted them on the numbers provided in the web page. I left a VM and got a call back from Nick who was very unprofessional at first when answering the phone, he even apologized when he realized that it was a work call from a recommendation on Angie's list. From there on he proceeded to ask all kinds of information BEFORE even listening to what was the problem. After I was interrupted multiple times when trying to answer all his questions he finally asked what was the problem. I started explaining it was a 4 story town home and was again interrupted to tell me that they could not do it because their ladder only went up to the 3rd floor. I then told him that if he would stop interrupting me he would let me finish a sentence and would understand that I am meaning to tell him that the leak is in the third floor... he then told me that I was being rude (HELLO HE IS THE ONE INTERRUPTING ME EVERY OTHER WORD!!!!) and that he could refuse service to anyone...... Good bye!!

Excellent customer service and affordable pricing. I called 5 different companies and Modern Roofing gave me the best price. All the trash and debris was removed from my property. I highly recommend them.

It went well. Joe and his crew came out and first did an inspection, then did the work. Even though they told me I didn't have to be there, I'm glad I was, as they didn't realize I had already paid for the Angie's package, and thought it was just for an inspection with no work. After I pointed out that I had paid already, they brought the ladder back out, and did the work.

They scheduled an appointment for 7/27, but came on the 28th. On 8/1, I left them a message following up because I hadn't heard from them. On 8/3, I called them and left a message again following up. On 8/4, I spoke with them and they informed me that they lost the pictures they took and they would have to start from scratch.

I asked them to give me a quote on a replacement deck and they said they would get back with me. I haven't heard anything back from them yet.
