I wish I would have found Matt sooner. I have been wanting an arena to ride in for years, but had difficulty finding someone with the right skill set to make it happen. Matt and I went through several options and I ended up with just what I wanted for much less that I expected to spend. He was always on time and professional. I have worked with many contractors over the past few years and he is at the top of my list. If you need a dirt guy don’t hesitate to call Matt.

He arrived as planed, with his helper, Mat cut and mulched the back acre Friday that had not been cleared in over 10 yrs. Saturday dirt and crushed concert was delivered, old trees stumps removed, holes filled in, new drive/parking pad was put in to front steps. Cleared around the home of years of over growth. There was a lot more done on this job, cant even think of it all!! Dose not even look like the same place. Was happy with work done. And plan to have him back in a few months.

Matt insisted on doing this project the day after a rain, in spite of my request to reschedule because the ground was too wet. The dirt delivered was not all final grade material. Some had a great deal of clay, huge chunks and hard as a rock. Three inch deep tire ruts were left through out the property along with large patches of weeds. Not all drainage areas were addressed and held water after a rain. Matt and his crew of 2 college boys worked all morning hauling and spreading dirt. Later a friend of Matt's arrived with his tractor or bobcat to help. At 3:00 Matt told me they were finished. As I walked the property with him I heard the words "You have got to be kidding!" come from my mouth. I pointed out the many areas not yet addressed and he and his crew worked for several more hours. At one point, Matt told me he had made an improvement. I told him I didn't hire him for an improvement, I wanted the job done right. He had originally planned to spend two days on this job but now was not coming back after one. He deducted $500 from the original estimate, which I agreed to. I am a single, female, 70 year old, who was taken advantage of.

Arrived on time and was very professional. Matt repaired gravel drive with crushed concrete smoothed out with roller best job we've had done on that driveway in 20 years I could'nt be more pleased it looks great. I thought we would need more material but Matt's expertise saved us more than 400.00 in additional material cost by recommending fewer yards of crushed concrete and he as absolutely right we didn't need the extra material. I recommend him highly and won't hesitate to call on him again in the future.
