Karl was on time, professional, meticulous, careful, persistent and conscientious. He had a difficult problem and did not give up. Ultimately he fixed our problem which was not only a fire hazard, but we had to run a load multiple times to get the clothes to dry - very inefficient. We were so impressed with this service!!

Originally called Dryer Vent Wizard out because I thought I had an issue with my dryer vent booster exhaust fan, but upon Karl’s inspection the booster fan was fine. Since it had probably been about 12 years (2 homeowners) since dryer vent line had been inspected and cleaned, I had Karl do it. He was very thorough and answered all my questions and explained everything about vent systems, airflow measurements/expectations (and improved numbers after his work). His work included inspecting the booster fan, cleaning out about 25’ of vent line, improving the hose and connection between the dryer-to-vent line, and eliminating an air leak at the access point in the vent line. Karl worked steadily for about 2 hours. I feel much better about my dryer vent system now. Cost includes replacement parts.

Everything went great. My new puppy chewed through the flexible aluminum dryer vent and the Dryer Vent Wizard replaces with a hard aluminum elbow and extended the hard aluminum with another elbow just in case. Price was fair and job was done quickly. Highly recommend.

He did a thorough and impressive job. But he injected his political opinions into his visit, with the assumption that we shared those opinions. We didn't appreciate it. We won't call him back.

He showed me how my very short vent pipe opened directly to the outside and was very easy to inspect and clean. He struck me as a good person as well as being good at his job.

Little did we know we needed so much more than just the connection. It turned out the reason the old dryer wasn't working was because the vent line was completely clogged. The technician actually broke his equipment trying to locate the clog. It turned out the builder had installed a booster fan in the ceiling (which we were not aware of) and the booster fan had failed and the dryer vent lint had completely clogged around this piece of equipment. The technician had to remove the broken equipment, repair the area, then test the pressure of the exhaust air. They were FABULOUS!. He was thorough and conscientious. I could not have asked for a better response. If I had had my dryer vent cleaned on a regular basis I would not have purchased a new dryer.

It turned out we needed SO much more. The exhaust path was clogged due to a failed exhaust booster fan that was inside the wall. We did not know we had one. It was completely clogged with dryer lint. After locating the dead booster fan and removing it, the connection was reestablished, the entire vent line cleaned and tested to confirm there was appropriate air flow. The technician was very conscientious and thorough. I can't say enough good things about this company. I could not have hoped for a better experience. Don't hesitate to call them.

Karl replaced the vent piping in the original vent route with proper material and now the dryer, which is located in the middle of the home, vents properly to the outside. He also cleaned out the lint that had been deposited in the floor joists.

We purchased a coupon on Angie's List for one dryer vent on the first floor and the owner tried to charge us extra saying the coupon was only for the basic service. The coupon said nothing about any extra charge. Eventually he honored the coupon and waved the extra fee.

Karl called me from the house to advise me of the situation and discuss what needed to be done. He found and corrected what two previous companies had completely missed. He was on time, corrected the problem, and spent time on two separate calls to describe the problem and solution with me. I will definitely call Karl and Dryer Vent Wizard in the future!

Karl called and came out the same day. When I called the 800 number, I was told there was a $49 charge for just coming to let me know what was needed. When Karl was done, the cost was $150, but then he told me if I belonged to Angies List, I could get $50 off with the coupon, which I printed for him. He spent a long time here and was very honest and efficient. I would recommend him to anyone who needed a dryer vent cleaned. Excellent! Karl came out the same day and cleaned out the dryer itself, repaired and reinforced the dryer vent to the wall and cleaned out the house duct which extended through the roof. My dryer works like new again. Excellent service!

It went very well. Karl was on time and was very professional and courteous. He determined that we didn't need a booster fan so removed it and rerouted the dryer vent tubing in the attic. Although he was able to get the booster fan working before removing it, he recommended that it be removed to eliminate any future problems with it and to reduce the cost of future dryer vent cleanings. Great advice! He also honored the Angie's List coupon for his services.

In addition he corrected a problem with the dryer vent pipe that we have had since we purchased the home but could not determine how to correct it.
