Can't find a single thing to complain about. Dennis answered his phone the first time I called and came out first thing the next day to give me an estimate. His recommendation was the replace the whole door/frame due to water rot, but he didn't try to talk me out of just repairing due to budgetary constraints. He was prompt, friendly, fair-priced and the work was top notch. I highly recommend him for your handyman needs!

Wonderful, Dennis did a great job! He stuck to his estimate, arrived on time and completed the job cleanly and efficiently.

Outstanding. Was prompt, did great work and took the time to do it right. Did not use cheap materials. Was friendly, professional, and efficient. After work completed, spent time making sure everything was cleaned up including our driveway where he set up his equipment. Even took the time to explain up keep on his work. Hard to find people you can trust but we will be using him again.

They were very professional in coming on time a submitting an estimate by email. They were able to perform the job prior to the estimated date. They were not the cheapest bid but I didn't want cheap, I wanted it right. I just had a good feeling about them. They completed the job in one day as opposed to a possible 3 by the other companies. They matched the existing texture nicely. The bid did not change in price. My only caveat is that there were areas that were not cleaned up properly but they weren't too difficult to take care of. Overall, though, great work.

.We initially were interested in using Hardiboard to fix chimney where Squirrels had eaten through the old material. We decided to replace all of the siding. Dennis provided a quote, accepted and set a date. He and his father did the work. They worked daily ( barring any bad weather, preventing work ), and finished the two story house in a two week span. This included removing the old material. Replacing with Hardiboard and painting. It came out beautifully, and they cleaned up the area well. We also had the 1980 windows ( that had seen better days -- seals leaking etc ), with new thermal windows. and had one exterior door replaced. The garage was started several weeks later. Again, a nice job was done. There was a question about whether or not a sink could be installed due to the connection to the existing drainage piping was not where we had initially thought. Instead of scraping it completely, he stated he would check what it would cost to connect to the outside piping. We decided to go with it, and his subcontractor did an outstanding job. He had to go under the sidewalk to the house to attach to the drainage system. Once completed. you would never know that they had been there. We then had a 1.5 ton lennnox air conditioner and the garage door replaced with an insulated garage door. Dennis sealed the area around the door once it was in place. There are virtually no air leaks around the garage door to the outside. We love the room. The work that Dennis and his father and brother did were insulate, drywall, wire for ceiling light, fan, multiple outlets and cable. Painted walls, epoxy floor and install cabinetry. We will use Dennis for additional projects.

When he came out, he gave me a price of 1,050.00. He got paint on my neighbor's black iron fence while painting the trim and I gave my neighbor the companys phone number and he has not come out to touch up the fence since. He was not very friendly and seemed aggrevated that he charged me a lower price than he wanted. I was charged $40 for the faucet part and $75 for the installation of it, for work that took him about 10 minutes. He did not use the paint brush I provided to paint the trim and he ended up using his own roller which caused the splatter on my neighbor's fence. He did not do a careful job and I will not be calling again.

Overall, start to finish, it was a very nice experience. I called and talked to Dennis Peterson, the head of Superior Building & Remodeling, and made an appointment for him to come to our home and give us an estimate. He was able to come out within a couple of days, look at and listen to what we wanted done. He made notes and sent us a professional estimate by email the next day. After a little further discussion and some mind changing (on my part), Mr. Peterson, his uncle and father came out promptly at 9:00am on May 23, 2011, as we had agreed upon. They immediately started working very efficiently and continued until late afternoon. They were back again the next day at 9:00am and worked until mid-afternoon. It only took them about a day and a half to completely finish the job....that included a good clean up of the jobsite. They were all very nice and pleasant and made this a great experience. We would definitely use them again and have/will recommend to others. After 3 other horrible experiences, we found the prize. If you have had a bad experience in the past, don't give up....use Superior Building & Remodeling/Mr. Dennis Peterson.

Dennis can get busy from time to time but always works in my smaller projects but always finds time. Dennis is very handy and has a good eye and will do a quality job. He is the real deal. 1. During the last projects he built a walk-in attic access door and solved the problems retrofitting this into the project. 2. Replaced a number of drywall issues and repaired them so that they are invisible. 3. Repaired numerous tile areas throughout the house. 4. Replaced a water damaged sub-floor area and fixed an out-of-plumb door frame. I would recommend him highly.

Door had always been problematic since we moved in this house, and he fixed it perfectly. Price was exactly in line with his quote. Very punctual, courteous, and professional. Would definitely use again--highly recommend.

Dennis punctual, professional, knowledgeable and hardworking; his work quality is excellent! I highly recommend him and will hire him again for future jobs.

Upon installing doors he broke my jam, several cracks now run down my door jam. Also, cracked my trim, long cracks throughout my door trim. Then cut my door to make it fit, and now there is a 1" slant at the top of one of my doors. This is very noticable because this door is directly in front of my entry door, so that when you walk into my front door you see my back door immediately, and it has a noticably weird slant at the top. Never told me he was cutting my door, I would have told him not to install it and then found someone who could re-do the jam so that the door did not need to be cut. Also, he hung the door so snug that when you open it the hinges make a loud noise that can't be fixed, even with WD-40. Currently I have hired a carpenter, threw away the door he cut, and starting over.

He did a good job. I would use him again. He was very professional, came when he said he would, and he was a nice courteous person. His dad was visiting so he let him help him and he was very patient with him, it was very sweet of him.

Service was performed to expectations without any issues.

Seeing that our home exterior needed painting, I decided to ask for bids from two of the highest rated local companies on Angies list. Both contractors were general contractors, not just paint contractors. Of the two contractors, Dennis Peterson at Superior Building and Remodeling, Keller TX, submitted the lower bid, so I awarded him the job. As it turns out, Dennis is pretty much the entire company. He sometimes uses an assistant on bigger jobs, though, and I was very pleased to have none other than his father, Ralph Peterson, helping his son on this job. Ralph, in addition to being a fine gentleman, is a very skilled artisan, builder, and painter in his own right. Dennis worked me into his schedule within about a week, they showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and the job went very smoothly. Even though the job included a full pressure washing and scraping of the entire exterior and even though Dennis and Ralph did extensive masking and taping in order to avoid any over spray, the job was completed in 3 work days (Dennis uses both a spray rig and a brush in order to achieve complete coverage). Dennis and Ralph were consummate professionals throughout the process and our home has never looked better in the 40 years we've been here. I should say a few words about what I paid for this fine paint job. Dennis submitted a bid of $2450, plus replacement of any worn trim on a cost plus basis. Dennis replaced over 30 feet of trim, making the final price I paid $2850. The second contractor, also an experienced and highly rated professional, submitted a bid that would have worked out to a final price of al least $5360. In my opinion, the work performed by Dennis and Ralph was of such a high quality that it could be improved only at the margin, if at all. Some possible marginal improvement could in no way justify the higher price. This experience suggests that even when working with fine contractors who have a very high Angies list rating, it is very important to get multiple bids.

Dennis Peterson and father did a great job on a deck we needed built in our back yard. He worked hard to please us where we felt changes needed to be made to the original design. We also contracted with him to repair the outside wood, paint the exterior, paint and texture the interior rooms, do some cabinetry, etc. His subcontracted tile person also did an exceptionally beautiful job. Dennis worked diligently to complete the work in the time he promised. We were extremely satisfied with the final result. We recommend him highly.

Superior Building and Remolding did a good job. They came and gave an estimate. He made recommendations and we ordered the materials. Once the materials arrived he came back to remove the old door and install a new door. It took about four to five hours. They were very professional, prompt, and efficient. They even went to Lowe's to pick up the storm door for us. We really appreciated the great service we received. I would recommend their services anyone.

They came on time, did everything on my list, were very courteous,cleaned everything up,gave me advice and didn't waste any time, I wish they were in La. I would hire them to help me build my house.

I ask for a bid on a list of about 12 Projects, the total cost for all projects would be $5,400.00 and I requested that only $485.00 work be performed. We arrived on a date for the work to be done. I was treated as if I had ask for of the work. My wife and I were treated with respect at all times. Dennis arrived on time with three helpers and they set about the task at hand. The work took around 7 hours; the crew were all very professional in bearing and in their work. The site was cleaned, the work completed within the budget that had been agreed on. I plan to use this company for the rest of the work that needs to be performed.

Dennis worked on the job for a day and a half, he said he would have a helper but brought two, no change in price. All three stayed busy while on the job, with a short break for lunch! All three were very pleasant to have in the house an have a professional attitude! I'm very pleased with the work done and will call Dennis again when I need more work done!

Dennis was very accomodating in my request to install a window A/C unit in my uncle's park model travel trailer. This is unusual in that most tradesmen will not touch a travel trailer of any flavor. We were installing the window unit due to the fact that we could not find an A/C tech who would address problems that my uncle was having with the A/C unit mounted on the roof of his trailer. It is noteworthy to mention that my uncle suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, and has undergone a quadruple heart bypass surgery, and has trouble controlling his blood sugars. In Texas, the summer heat can be very intense, especially when your only means of cooling is malfunctioning. Dennis was aware of these facts and responded to my concerns for my uncle's health issues admirably. Dennis and his father arrived at my uncle's location within 48 hours of the initial conversation regarding the installation. They went immediately to work and knew exactly what they wanted to do. My experience with these men is that they are very professional, compassionate, and exhibit a high standard of integrity both as professional tradesmen and individuals.The only downside to the installation is that I had to come back and actually install the A/C unit correctly; inserting unit into the window from the inside as opposed to it just being placed into the window from the outside. The modification process took me about an hour but the bracing built by Dennis and his father made the job much easier than it would have been without it. I will definitely us Dennis again in the future.

Went well, and on time, on budget. A couple of the ballisters are warping like crazy but I don't think Dennis grew the tree, but he fixed them anyway. The decks look very nice and he went the extra mile to find and fix a leak that has been plaguing one of the decks since we moved in. Garage ceiling was repaired so well you can't see where the problem was.

I use Dennis Peterson and he is kind of a handyman. He actually did work for our Home Owners’ Association also. He put in Hardie board planks on the outside of my house and he painted it. He put in a new entry door for my garage going into the backyard and did all the trim and paint work. He has owned his own business. Sometimes his dad helps him and now his son-in-law is helping him. He does not work for large companies. It is all him. I would rate him highly and would absolutely use him again in the future.

I decided to update my kitchen. Contacted Superior Building and Remolding and they set up appointment for the next day. I liked all of their suggestions and decided to use them. They would call ahead of time before arriving. Careful of surrounding work areas and cleaned up at the end of each day. Patient with arriving problems and was able to solve them in a timing order. Helped me with purchasing needed material. I will be using them again in future home improvements. I recommend Superior Building And Remolding to anyone who needs and home improvements.

I was very happy with them. I would be calling them back to do some additional work for me. They were professional, very nice and efficient. The guy definitely knew what he was doing. Their price was very fair.

Excellent experience. We had bids from several companies and Dennis's professionalism was head and shoulders above all the others. He submitted a written bid that was reasonable and the final bill was exactly as expected. He came at the appointed times and his crew did excellent work. The new Laundry Room is great! They listened to our concerns, made suggestions, did the work with a minimum of disruption to our home and completed the work quickly. We already have spoken to him about a bid for our next renovation project!
