I am rating 1 star, because it is the lowest I can rate this business' service! I went through HomeAdvisor to find an electrician for a small issue with a light fixture in my bathroom. Among the multiple possibilities I selected a local address (ended up being World Star Electric). Ahmed Belly showed up, asked pertinent questions about the issue at hand. It took him 20 mins to diagnose the problem and 20 minutes to fix it. There were two issues: one with a light fixture and one with the air extractor I thought had the same underlying problem. In the end they were not related. I went to purchase the replacement units and Mr Belly wanted to come along. I did not ask him to come. After everything was done, he charged me for 5 hours of labor! He charged me $50 for using Angi (HomeAdvisor), $50 of a consultation fee! and $75 for materials and fees. It is a shame! It took this person 40 minutes of actual work and charged me for 5 hours of work!!! DO not hire this service!!!!!!

The work was done well. The technician arrived on time and completed the project efficiently. I did not get an invoice so I created a receipt of payment document that the tech signed. There was no other way to confirm that I had given the check to the technician.

Ahmed for World Star Electric did an amazing job for my family. Someone cause a fire in our alley, which melted our meter. We had no electricity on a Sunday morning at 3am. I called several 24 hour electricians and Ahmed was the only one who answered. He shows up at the house in less the 15 minutes and began to work. He did not stop until 2:30pm when he had everything back and running. Ahmed's work ethic and dedication is commendable. I recommend him and his company to everyone!
