The Following Review is the opinion of a buyer and all reports are alleged.... The Issues with Shed Are Stated As Follows: (Everything is documented thoroughly with pictures) 1. Improperly supported floor: (originally blocks were placed on left side of building and my own concrete blocks placed underneath door, with nothing in the middle to support majority of floor) (currently, blocks underneath floor placed by George on sept 23rd are not touching causing runners to give under their own weight and floor bounces) (2X8?s run 16 feet long and is past load bearing capacity as indicated by floor flexing) 2. Siding has miss-cut vent holes and wood attached to that area of shed is split 3. Concrete blocks holding up left side of shed are not flush, thus preventing me from putting up skirting. 4. Anchors to prevent sliding of building (later advised by George, who said Preston should have sold me these; to date have not been installed) 5. Other cosmetic mistakes such as dented vents, paint chipping, and dents made in siding. (All documented with pictures) 6. Originally the walls were not properly attached to the floor as there were nails sparsely placed along the bottom. (Comprising structural integrity) (On Sept, 23rd this was fixed by George) The shed was constructed by a team of 4 men, one of which was a foreman named Trayce. Originally the shed was scheduled to be built on Wednesday August 28th, but had been delayed due to ?problems?. Gregg Morgan offered me 16ft of shelving to compensate for the trouble, which was not installed until September 23rd by George, a tuff Shed Inc. contractor. On the morning of September 6th, I immediately suspected something was wrong when I heard the crew complain that they did not bring enough blocks to support the shed. I later found out that evening when I arrived home to look at the shed that they had used my own materials (concrete blocks) on my property without my permission to give the appearance that the shed was supported. Between the dates of September 9th-September 23rd I as well as my father-in-law contacted Gregg Morgan, the GM for the Lubbock location and Tuff Shed Inc. Corporate office several times by phone and through e-mail, to have these issues stated above resolved promptly. George, the contractor who had been tasked by Gregg Morgan to come fix the shed, had contacted me to look at the shed on September 9th. When he came to the property (over 2 hours late) to review the shed, he and I determined and agreed upon, that the existing shed was a rushed job, poorly constructed, anchors should have been sold by, salesman, and it had major structural problems due to walls and floor. George and I talked about Tuff Shed Inc. taking the following action to fix the issues: Take existing shed off of property, Re-build a new shed (same dimensions/color with 2 vents) with a steel frame on bottom, with anchors on sides and center, Re-build shed using experienced and trusted contractor, Floor properly supported with rigidity and no bounce, Skirting on bottom, 16 ft of shelving, Full inspection walk-thru after job from contractor to insure quality and all done without additional expense. The other option I offered was the option for a full refund and for the shed to be removed from the property. George stated that he would talk to Gregg and finalize a time to fix shed under the agreed upon terms. On the evening of Friday September 13th Gregg Morgan, George, & Preston (The salesman) called me on a conference call. Gregg stated that ?removal of the existing shed and re-building another one will not be an option?. I tried to explain to Gregg that because the work done the first time was so bad, I had no confidence/faith in the construction of the existing one. I also explained the arrangements that me and George had discussed and Gregg refused those options immediately. Since Gregg refused those options, I then asked for a refund and for the shed to be removed from my property, which Gregg repeatedly said it could not be done. It wasn?t until September 20th through many phone calls and e-mails from me and my father in law to corporate office and Gregg that he agreed to have the documented issues (stated in an e-mail in his own words) resolved by Monday,September 23rd 2013. On Monday September 23rd 2013, a failed attempt was made by Tuff Shed?s contractor George, to rectify the problems listed above. George spent about 1.5 hours as witnessed by us doing the following: putting up shelving, securing wall the floor, and making an attempt to support floor by re-leveling and placing blocks and shims underneath floor. We, were so displeased by the work of George that he offered to support the shed with his own materials. George agreed to his request that same day, but said that he could not finish the job until the following week. George stated in his own words ?I was unable to finish putting the anchors and finishing the job due to unavailable materials, and time constraints?. George also stated that ?I don?t know how I am going to support the floor, but I?ll try". Between Sept 23rd-26th,I contacted Gregg several times as well as contacted corporate office and stated that the issues were not resolved as George only did a few things, and did not complete the repairs. On October 4th, 2013, I contacted Gregg and he had shared with me that the reason George did not finish the job was due to the fact that he was waiting on my father-in-law, to bring in metal supports which was offered by him as a potential solution to the problem. This, however was not the case as George already had told my father-in-law he did not finish the job because ?materials not being available and time constraints?. After several calls to Tuff Shed Corporate office and Gregg Morgan, On September 27th,between 9:30 and 10:00am, it was determined by Gregg Morgan, that the best way to resolve the issue is to honor my original request I had made on September 9th & 10thth. This request was for a refund of money in the form of a check, I had originally paid in the amount of $1100, and for the building to be removed from my property. Between September 27th and October 4th I placed many calls to Gregg and corporate office to get an answer on how long it would take for me to receive a check and for the shed to be removed. On October 4th, I spoke with Tommy Sedotal after a returned call from Craig Scott (Vice President), to resolve issues. He told me that in order to get the check and have the shed removed; he wanted me to sign a document that states that ?I would not post any more comments online and through social media about Tuff Shed?. I explained to Mr. Sedotal that I would only agree to sign a statement saying those exact words with no legal jargon. On October 7th, 2013, Mr. Sedotal sent an e-mail of a 3 page legal binding document called a Settlement Agreement & Release. He told me that we could not move forward to resolve issues unless I signed the agreement. I have not nor will I ever agree to sign these documents or any other legal documents. I did not agree to such request because of restraints and improper liabilities placed on me as a consumer and thus the issue is not resolved to this day.
