When I called several companies to let them know that I needed Bermuda grass for moved and replaced with fescue, Dusty was the first to respond and I knew right away after talking with him that I wanted him to do it! They got started on yard preparation right away. I wanted concrete circular barriers around my front yard trees and a barrier between my yard and my neighbors. They did all of that and when sod was available they laid it in one day. They finished about three weeks ago and my lawn is the greenest in the neighborhood and the lines between the sod squares are already, barley noticeable. I recommend them highly!

Dusty was so nice. He and his crew were on time and very polite. The putting green is beautiful and well constructed. I would recommend Dusty for anything he does.

Upon completion of project, it was determined that the pond lights did not function & the contractor believed the transformer was not working properly, needing replacement. Contractor also indicated he thought he had a transformer in his inventory that could be used as replacement. However, the homeowner found that transformer did actually work but the wiring was not properly secured to the connectors which caused the problem. A voice mail was left with the contractor the same day the project was completed but no return call has been received about the replacement item. Except for this glitch, work was done on time at the price agreed upon.

Dusty came out and looked at our project and thought outside "the box" for our design. Installation was professionally done and the final product was off the chart. He made our outdoor living space absolutely perfect. We will be using Dusty again.

I hired Dusty to clean my yard of leaves and ground vegetation and trim 5 trees. While he was doing this, I asked him if he built fences as well. He assured me that he did, so I contracted with him to build an 8 ft cedar fence around my back yard for the total price of over $5,000.00. I have never seen such shoddy work. The cedar wood is warping, splitting and shrinking. The corners were overlapped rather than fit together as they should. The cap on one gate is curved upward rather than being level. Another gate drags at the bottom and is difficult to open. He left the points of a couple of screws extending out about an inch at the exit of one gate where I ripped my hand open. He was supposed to put caps on all metal posts, and after several phone calls, did return and put caps on most of them, however not all of them. One corner of the back of the fence where it joins my neighbors fence is so shabby and terrible I can't find words to describe it. He left old building materials in the alley with a promise to return and remove. It has been 7 months and he hasn't returned as of today. As you can probably tell, I am very unhappy with his work, and would never hire him to do any work of any kind again, nor will I recommend him to anyone.

Working with Tropical Gardens & Palms (owner name Dusty) was wonderful had them redue our landscape lighting. Beautiful work, LED lites really make the difference. Did such a fantastic job had them also do our Rock landscaping too. Choice was the natural rocks. Our home looks like a million bucks. CAN'T go wrong with

Dusty and his crew did an outstanding job on our sod, replaced areas of poor sod and did a great job of prepping our yard. I would recommend them for any sod work you may have.

My yard was a mess. There were 2 guys who worked 6 hours. They worked hard and did a great job. The owner checked on the job they did 2 days after they finished to be sure I was happy. I plan to use them exclusively in the future.
