 + -1 moreWhile I did not use this provider for repair I appreciated his honesty. He told me what I needed and he then said get this $20 part and if you are capable with tools, etc do it yourself. It would have cost more to leave it with him to repair. So I went and bought the part and fixed the issue. I will definitely go back here if I have any future computer issues
Description of Work: He looked at my computer and told me in less than 3 mins he told me what I needed.

 + -1 moreI have had great experiences both times. They've gotten my machine up and running quickly and the costs are reasonable. I would not hesitate to take my computer into them again if I run into problems.
Description of Work: I've used Lubbock Computers twice for problems with my HP laptop. The first time I took it in they did a free diagnostic/estimate and ended up fixing the problem without me having to put any money out. The second time was a software that they isolated and repaired quickly (within 24 hours).

 + -1 moreI took it in one afternoon and explained the problems that I was encountering. The young man who received my computer was courteous. He said that they had a number of computers that had come in before mine, so it might take a couple of days for them to complete the work. They contacted me 2 days later to let me know that it was ready. When I picked it up, they explained to me the importance of having plenty of memory (I think that's what they said) to keep a computer functioning at top speed. I purchased more memory and have been extremely pleased with the results.
Description of Work: Computer was extremely slow; I was constantly having to reboot which took much more time than it should have. After investigating computer repair places, I selected Lubbock Computers because they had been chose "Best in Lubbock." They repaired my computer in a couple of days and explained to me that adding more memory would speed up my computer. I followed their suggestion, and have had no problems with my computer's performance since then.
