+ -1 moreWe needed another head installed for our mini split system after adding an additional room to our house. Ira was quick to get us a quote and get the parts ordered. Jesse and Sean came out as soon as the parts came on to get the install done. Because of the location of the new addition, the install wasn’t the easiest, but they stayed and got it done. Lowery has always given us 5 star service and we’re grateful to have them in Lubbock.
Description of Work: Added a new head to the mini split system.

+ -1 moreI tell everybody to use Lowery, they are the nicest people, they came in a lower bid price and now that I already paid the air conditioner off the help me out with financing at 9% so I could get my maintenance plan I'm older and so I pay him for five years of maintenance so it doesn't cost me all that up front money for maintenance. Everybody for the plumbing and heating and air form them is highly professional.
Description of Work: I use Lowery Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning for heating and a/c services. They came and checked everything out and changed the filter.

+ 0 moreLowery made a package $$$ for entire job. Somehow we failed to get back half of home (water heater, vent and pipes) updated which we thought was included in cost of package. We were told it was our mistake, an expensive mistake. Make sure to get detailed list. Lowery does great plumbing not great at articulating on deals.
Description of Work: Update pipes and replace 2 water heaters, sink disposal and install new commode. We also wanted some plumbing items and vents up to code.

+ 0 moreLowery told us the pipe was broken and a large section of pipe would need to be replaced for a quoted price of $15,000. We decided to get a second opinion, and when the other plumber sent a pipe through, he said the pipe was not broken and did not need to be replaced. He also said that if the section of pipe involved had needed replacement, he could probably have done it for less than $5,000.
Description of Work: We had a clogged drain. Lowery cleared the drain and sent a camera down to check out the pipe.

Description of Work: Charge for an estimate, told me they hoped I had great credit. They created a ticket for a supervisor to come. Noone did and they did it again. I think I should get my estimate back.

+ -1 moreWe were pleased with the person who came out, but the price was more than we wanted to pay. I had no problem with the experience I had with them. The price was the only reason we didn't use them.
Description of Work: They came out and gave us an estimate for installing new heater and air conditioning units. We had two different scenarios that we were thinking of going with. One was $2,900 but we were going to give them a trade in that was worth about $600, so it was a total of $3,600.

+ -1 more,said they needed to run tv down to see where obstruction was , next day ,they came out to chk lines ,tv wouldnt go in washer drain,chked main line, told me the greenfield was bad, needed to replace with new plastic line ,was cost prohibitive, end of storythey left is a huff and a cloud of dust.------- (this is the 3rd time i have entered this form ,what is the problem???)

+ -1 moreThe next morning as promised, three very professional Lowery technicians came and replaced two full Trane X20i systems (20 SEER) before 3pm. The detail, professionalism, quality, value, and response are unmatched in Lubbock. We will never use anyone else for our HVAC and plumbing needs. They deserve an A+++
Description of Work: Called Lowery on Thursday morning and they came out to review our home for replacing two full HVAC systems within 2 hours. Thirty minutes later Phillip came by and figured the price. We had estimates from three other sources and the others were less quality (SEER) and higher price.

The next day they offered me an estimate of $9,500 for just the furnace and they wouldn't give it to me the previous day. I had someone else replace a switch that fixed the issue for $200. They also said I had a carbon monoxide issue which was not true.

+ 0 moreI called lowery 08052013 and they said they could not come until tomorrow. Luck for me they had someone cancel. They called and said they could come today. The worker was there in about 30 min. He was friendly and professional . He checked the drain and said the drain was unclogged. He asked if i just wanted to pay for a service call of 39.50 or if i wanted him to clean out the drain. I told him to clean the drain and he did.
Description of Work: Cleaned the drain in the kitchen.

They came the same day, assessed the problem, cleaned out the drain, tested it, and talked to me about some other obvious needs he saw. No pressure to have these other services done, just fyi, since I'm new to Lubbock. Like how often water heaters and A/C's need to be serviced here. The tecnician was very polite (Tommy).

Description of Work: One of their technicians ran a camera through a vent pipe and cleanout plug and told me my pipes had root intrusion and were crumbling. The next day another "plumber" came by and gave an estimate of $21k for repairs. I had a second company (Duncan Plumbing) come out and they said all of my pipes were good except for one spot. There estimate for repair was $3k. Duncan's plmber supervisor came out to provide a written esimate, but instead suggested they try a hydro clean which they did and I have had no problems since. The total charge for the hydro clean was less than $300.00. Beware of Lowery Plumbing they will try to sell you work you do not need. Allways get a second or even a third opinion

Description of Work: He had to flip the electrical breaker back on. Something had flipped it off, he was not sure if it had been the AC or not. He said if it happened again within a week to call him and he would apply the $34.95 to the next call.

Description of Work: The bid was $25,000 to replace our main sewer line and small lines into the house. Roto Rooter bid the job for $6,000 and were willing to let us do our own concete work which cut the price to $2,800. Roto Rooter did the job and did a great job!

+ -1 moreThe technician climbed onto the roof and ran cable through roof vent to clean out line but only went partway. Essentially pushed the clog deeper in the house and not all the through the house and into the alley. So it was not too long before system backed up again, this time in master bath and laundry room. Wife called Lowery and asked them to come out and do the right thing. They absolutely refused. So we called in Spartan Plumbing who ran cable from roof vent and cleaned out all the way into the alley. I cannot recommend this plumber.
Description of Work: Kitchen sink was backing up in our rental house at 3212 80th St. Tenant called Lowery's and we paid $50 for services.
