Straighten, repaired and repoint brick. They checked every part of my home to insure our satisfaction. I will recommend L&S to my family and friends who need masonry work. This was a big deal purchase. I paid $25 for any $50 repair. We liked the guy and for additional work as well. But then his workers quit showing up. He was nice, but his workers were not reliable. My husband hired them so I was not the one checking the price. They were great painters. I had taken down most of the wallpaper in the house myself. I came down to the last room and they said they could take care of that for us. I wanted it off and textured and painted. They painted over the wallpaper, which is not at all what I wanted. I had painstakingly taken down every stitch of wallpaper in every room of this house and it came down to the last room and they painted over it, when they said they could do it. It was my understanding that they were going to take it down and do what I had done with the other rooms. They did not. They charged us way too much for what they did. If they had taken it down I felt that would have been a fair price. They did not communicate clearly what they were going to be doing or I would not have hired them for that. They did an amazing job painting the rest of the house but that was the last thing they did for me and I did not bring them back after that because I felt like it was dishonest.

Wayne's Mason was an artist. He replaced & mortared the bricks perfectly. The fireplace opening looks like it did originally. The man that mixed the mortar was excellent.

It went well. They were very prompt with their quote. They also met their proposed deadline a day early. We are very pleased with their work. We would absolutely recommend them.

They came by when they promised and called before they came. Very nice and did a beautiful job. Cleaned their mess and even a little extra. Very pleased.

Had to wait for about a month for the work to done after agreeing on the price. This was due to their backlog of work. Mr. Scarber was excellent to work with and understand their backlog because L & S is the best.

I could tell L&S knew what they were doing from the time they made the bid to performing the work. They contacted me about an early opening and got the job finished in a few hours. The result is that my fireplace looks great and very solid. They cleaned up the site wonderfully and all workers were very respectful through out the process. I feel that the price was very competative and the work done was exceptional. I would use them again in a heartbeat as this was one the best contracting experiences I have ever had.

Mr. Scarber was friendly and professional each time I spoke with him on the phone, and they came to do the work within a week of when I originally contacted him. He was very attentive to the work his crew was performing, and had me look around at the finished work to be sure I was satisfied. They cleaned up after their work just great, and you can't tell where the repair work was done on the mortar. I will definitely use them for any future mortar/brick needs, and would recommend them to anyone that needs this type of work at their home or business. It was a great experience!

We found them on Angie's List and they did a wonderful job. It was quite a complicated job, but they did a very good job. They had to bring over big grinders and everything, this was quite an undertaking. I would recommend them wholeheartedly. It seems like a fair price. I called a couple of people and they were the first that came back. They seemed reasonable, and the man sounded like he knew what he was doing and he lived up to it. As a matter of fact, they were 5 minutes early. I thought that they were totally professional. I plan to use them for other jobs we have.

They were prompt. They were able to locate us easily as we don’t have a number where we live but they found us by the contacts over phone. They were fine. As it was half the price of the estimate that we got earlier we needed more information to check with another company. They were punctual and they were just fine. We wanted a third opinion as to whether they were very cheap and we wanted to sell them in our own mind and that’s why we didn’t go ahead with them also. The owner was just fine but we just felt a little uneasy with his help that we did not like.
