Diamondback Fencing

Lance Gilliam is the owner of Diamondback Fencing. Lance came to our house to talk with us about our ideas for a new fence. We started with strength. Due to age and inadequate construction, our fence came apart during a wind storm. We wanted to build a stronger one. Second, we wanted the fence to look good and not rot and fade to grey in three years. And third...COULD IT BE AFFORDABLE? Lance explained our options and gave us an idea of what each would cost with Labor and Materials. We chose Western Red Cedar with Gothic Tip pickets, stronger, heavier gauge metal posts set in concrete 24" - 30" deep , 2x4 rails, SCREWS instead of nails, and a wood framed gate with 3 hinges. Lance's estimate beat three others. His price included installing screws. They take longer than nails to install and the fence is stronger because of them...My house can star in the next Wizard of Oz and our fence with still be standing! Thank you Lance! For an additional and very reasonable price, Lance stained our fence. We used Wood Defender's oil based transparent fence stain. We mixed Clear Glow with Cedar Tone and I truly FELT the value of our house go up when he finished. Amazing feeling. We'll stain it again on a hot day in about a year. It will look good for many, many more years than an unstained fence.
