Great sales job about products (windows and siding), price, and installers. Products were excellent, but installation was sloppy in parts with big gaps (1/4" to 1") covered up with caulk on windows, and attempt made to make wrong installation of vent under roof. I had to watch them carefully to correct their mistakes in installation. Owner became irritated and mildly insulting when repeated calls were made to correct the multiple of mistakes his workers were making. ( I was unaware that the back windows were not properly caulked on the bottom and did not catch this mistake. The one window which is not protected from the elements by being under the back porch overhang like the other four are, and is 4x6ft, leaked during rain this last fall, ruining our floor under that window. ) After installation was finished, had to remind owner to install items that he'd agreed to install (two posts to support my front porch overhang to replace the two they took out). - - - - - - - August 2011. This summer the same window leaked again during torrential rains, ruining my floor further. The lady who answered was very nice and explained that D&B had fired the previous crew after they had messed up approx. 7 installations/jobs. But, nothing was said about repairing my ruined floor. I told them I thought the problem was d/t the caulk, which began peeling out from the glass right after the job, had been applied to a dirty, unwashed window. The man who came out to repair the caulk agreed, removed the caulk, washed the window, and reapplied the caulk. It has not leaked since. But, I still have the ruined floor.
