concrete repair
 + -1 moreSloppy work. Had to have them come back twice for repairs before I would pay them. I finally just paid them to get them out of the way and did the rest myself. They never cleaned up after they worked and tried to hide their mistakes by piling dirt up high on the concrete to hide it. Do not use these guys unless you want it cheap and ugly.
Description of Work: Poured flower beds in front of house and around two big trees and did some work on patio.

concrete repair
 + -1 moreLousy expereince. They were on time to pick up their check, but could never get back to clean up the mess on my brick wall from the concrete pour job. I would not recommned this comapany to anyone. Unprofessional total expereince.
Description of Work: I had the Concrete Joe compnay pour a patio for me in my back yard. They didi show up on time to dig the prep work. However, the following day after the concrete pour job, i had concrete spatters up to five feet high from the "pour job" all over my brick siding. When Joe came to pick up his check, I questioned him about the spatters, and he assured me that they would be back the next day. They failed to show. After several calls over several days, with an ongoing litany of excuses, a man showed up on Fourth of July Saturday weekend to attempt to clean off the concrete stains with a steel brush. All to no avial. He said he'd tell his employer they needed to clean up the wall. After I put in a call to the contractor, he assured me he'd come by the next day. I called again when he failed to show. Needless to say, they never did show up to use the muriatic acid to clean the brick, and i would up cleaning up thier mess myself. I would not recommend Concrete Joe for any work to friends.

 + -1 moreI " pre-paid " mr. Gaitan ( $ 200.0 ) for what was suppose to be crushed rock in order to level the 10x20 area of ground. What he actually used was just plain dirt. The slab turned out extrememly rough, with " fibers " coming out of the concrete. Three days later the slab developed a 30' crack from side to side. Upon contacting Mr. Gaitan to inform him about the crack, he stated: " It won't hurt anything." I have not heard from him since. To add insult to injury, later that day I found several bags of trash, and beer cans that Mr. Gaitan had left behind on my land.
Description of Work: Mr. Gaitan poured a 30' x 40' concrete slab. he also leveled a ground area 10' x 20'.
