I wasn't able to charge my laptop. Initally byteguy thought the charging cord was problem so I bought new cord and paid consult fee. This was not problem though. I had to take computer back for replacement of charging port. It was very involved and byteguy did discuss with me before making repair. I felt price for repair was fair since he did not charge me consult fee again. However he threw my cord away instead of giving it back to me. If he had this would have saved me 25.00(the price of the new cord)since the cord wasn't the problem.

He correctly diagnosed the issues on my computer. He was very patient, reliable, and took his time with me. I was very happy with his service. He could have charged a higher price considering the time he spent, but he didn't. We worked several hours on the issue, which he correctly diagnosed as a hardware problem on this 6 wk old computer.

My Dental practice utilizes computers in every operatory. They function in patient charting, notations, photography, and dental radiographs. Modern Dental practices are dependent on this technology to better care for their patients. In one of my operatories we discovered first thing Thursday morning that one computer would power up but would not display. I attempted on site trouble shooting but was unsuccessful. A quick review on Angies List showed this company and quot;Byteguyand quot; with very good reviews. Called Byteguy and discussed with Frank our problem. He said he would come out and could be there in 30 minutes! This was music to my ears as we really needed that operatory back in service. He arrived as promised and upon evaluation discovered that we had a proprietary card and would need to take it back to the shop for evaluation and diagnostics. The next morning Frank returned with the computer and it worked flawlessly! No need to re-install any software and all programs including clinical photography and digital radiography, worked instantly! No additional work was needed on my side as Frank had everything up and running very quickly! The dental team, patients, and myself were very impressed and appreciative of Frank's technical knowledge and his professionalism! Work completed at 4221 85th Street Lubbock, Tx. 79423

Frank arrived prepared to deal with any situation. He found the problems in the computer, quickly and installed the virus protection and spam protection. He went out and purchased a new monitor and returned and installed it. He didn't charge me for the time he spent getting the monitor. Frank is friendly and easy to deal with. He charged me a minimal amount for the time he spent at my house. I will call him again if I have any computer problems.
