Great service! Shane was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He checked everything thoroughly and was able to give me an estimate with payment options. He called before arriving and was able to complete the work in the time estimated. Shane was awesome! The ladies who scheduled the appointment were super friendly. Great customer service!

They were great! Worked well with my schedule in spite of bad weather. Did everything I asked for and had smart recommendations for my complicated chimney problems (water leaks, shingles on top, crumbling bricks and mortar, no topper, etc.) They were efficient, polite, professional and cleaned up so as to leave no trace of their presence. I plan on using them again when I need my chimney swept down the road.

The first time I called I got voicemail, identifying the phone as belonging to Aand A Chimney Sweep and asking to leave a message. I did not leave a message the first time, but did the second time I called (during regular business hours) saying that I was looking for preventative maintenance, and giving my name and number. We played phone tag (Aand A called and left a message on my phone saying they got my message, and please call back, etc) resulting in 5 calls from my phone to theirs and one from theirs to mine. Thursday morning the Aand A phone called and I picked up. Instead of a pleasant professional greeting, the man demanded to know, and quot;Who is this?and quot; I gave him my name and then he barked and quot;Who are you WITH?and quot; I paused for a moment...as I am both a student at Texas Tech and an employee at a public school, neither of which have anything to do with my home chimney. I was confused, but I answered, and quot;Texas Tech?and quot; and the man said in an irritated tone, and quot;Why are you calling me? I've gotten a ton of calls from you?and quot; I said with incredulity, and quot;We are trying to hire someone to work on our chimneyand quot; He said and quot;We don't need any jobsand quot; and promptly hung up. I dont know if this man has a problem with paranoia, or with rudeness and professionalism, but either way I STRONGLY recommend you do not call this company.

I had a real estate listing where the brick chimney was improperly braced and over time had begun to show signs of stress upon the attic bracing. Stephen assessed the cost of reconstructing the heavy chimney but recommended a and quot;beef upand quot; of the current bracing. He was able to place several 2x6 beams at opposing angles of the current braces and relieved the pressure on the current bowing 2x4's the builder had placed some 15 years ago. I asked him if he could also insulate skylight chase in the attic. He looked at it, gave me specifications of what materials were needed to purchase, and while he cut and installed braces, I went to the home supply store and purchased the materials. He and his assistant were courteous, very respectful of cleanliness in the home, and performed the tasks quickly and professionally. When the job was complete, I was very satisfied with the quality of all tasks performed. They were both very polite and appreciative for the business. I would highly recommend and will use A and A Chimney Sweep whenever their services are needed.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Steven and his company. How rare it is to find someone with that kind of integrity about his work. He is prompt, reliable, honest and does an excellent job. I will use and recommend him for anything that has to do with fireplaces and chimneys. He does it all. If you are interested in gas or wood burning stoves,give him a call.

They were really good, Steven Respondek is his name and he did a great job. They did some pretty expensive damage work on both of my buildings. It cost $950 for one and $900 for the other. I would tell anybody that they did a really good job. Steven is a really nice man, he does a really good job, and this is probably what you want to know, he didn't make a mess in my house.

We were very pleased with them. They were excellent. The thing that I was impressed with was that they came out dressed in all black. I think that is part of their point. They are showing you how clean they are. They were real friendly. They did their job. They were quick in here. They gave us an assessment about what was wrong and what our options were. They didn't make us feel like we had to do anything. We needed some repair, some re-grouting. They came back and they had the equipment. They had it done and were out of here in 15 minutes.
