They were great. He was knowledgeable, friendly and he did a good job. He was thorough and efficient. His customer service skills were great.

The day of install, I got a call that the carpet was defective and would have to be reordered. That would not have been a problem except for the fact that the carpet had been delivered to the store approximately two weeks earlier, and we had moved all the furniture out of the house to make sure everything could go smoothly since I was having relatives coming in that weekend to stay for a whole week! The assistant manager assured me they would put a rush on it and I would receive a credit for my trouble. When the carpet did not come in by the time my relatives came in and they had to stay in a motel, I spoke again with the assistant manager (the manager would not return my calls or speak to me when I went into the store), I told them what I felt would be a fair credit for all our trouble, and was given the impression that would be fine. However, once the carpet arrived, I was told they could not do that. I then called the corporate customer service line to find out what my options were. It was only after I made this complaint that the local store agreed to my terms. I hate that it had to come to this, because I love Lowe's and have done quite a bit of business with them over the years. I will say that the installers were great, and I really do love the carpet; however, I will not be doing business with this particular store again.

Great price and product but everything went down hill with delivery. I had to wait 5 days for delivery. Sales told me it would be delivered between 8 am and noon. When it hadn't arrived at the given time I called the store. The warehouse man said he would call the driver and see what was up and would call me back to let me know. He didn't call back, so I callegd, again, and he said it wouldn't be delivered until the afternoon. I asked for a reason for the mix up and got no response. Ended up having to take a whole day off work to finally have it delivered at 5:30 pm.

The first refrigerator I bought was a black one. They brought it out and set it up. They took my old one out, which was a cream color. It turned out that I really hated looking at that black refrigerator, so I went back to them and I said I really don't like the refrigerator. They were so good, and the guy there said if I didn't like the refrigerator, then I don't have to keep it. He asked me which one did I like. I picked out one that was cream color. They changed it out, so that is why I would go back to them to buy my washer and dryer. They have a free delivery. They are great. Their price is good as anyone. Others are less with their price, but they charge for the delivery; so it is the same.

Their installer was excellent, he showed me the previous carpet they installed was defective and Lowe's took it all back and gave me credit for it with no hassle. Also, when I told them their moving guys would have to move my furniture for me to do this job, they did that without charging me extra.
