Bill Mayfield Contracting

My 90 year old mother-in-law had a serious fire in the attached garage. Besides the significant damage, we had to deal with all of the initial details long distance. I interviewed several contractors that did not seem to understand the situation, nor did they want to do a thorough job. Some wanted to cut corners to "save me money," but knew this would eventually be a huge problem at the time the house was sold. Frustrated, I called the East Texas Builders Association for recommendations, and Bill Mayfield was the first name offered. With the first phone call, I knew that this was someone who was honest, who really knew what he was doing, and would work with the insurance company to get this done right. I have to say, Mayfield Contracting is first class all the way. He uses top-notch crews who are ethical and do the job right the first time. He is extremely detailed oriented, and fixed old problems as they surfaced. He worked with the insurance estimator in making sure everything would be covered. He actually saved me some money, as well. He was willing to take my incessant phone calls and emails to offer advice on other projects not directly related to the fire. Since doing the work, he has even stopped by to check on my mother-in-law! Is extremely personable. After seeing the completed work, I have also seen some of the multi-multi million dollar homes he has built. He is a consumate craftsman in all respects. I certainly recommend Bill Mayfield for any type of building or remoldeling job you might need.
