Very prompt response time even though it was a week-end

I have used them for a very long time, and I would recommend their services.

. When I called A-1 Heating/AC, the person I spoke with was pleasant and helpful. She got us scheduled for service within 24 hours of my call.When the two gentlemen came out to check out the unit, they were very friendly and explained the issue they found. Then they gave us options for both short term and long term remedies and we discussed our price options. They were very patient with our multiple questions and answered them thoroughly. They also installed a new thermostat at our request. And then they took the time to show us how the thermostat worked. They left NO mess for us to clean up.

When my A/C went out at the beginning of Summer, I called three local companies to get estimates. I knew exactly what size system I needed and explained the installation in detail since I am somewhat familiar with HVAC systems. Two of the three quoted a price over the phone. However, A-1 was the only one of the three that refused to quote over the phone THEN WANTED OVER $100 JUST TO COME OUT GIVE AN ESTIMATE! They offered to credit this toward a system if I made a purchase, but based on my previous experience with them, they are one of the most expensive around. In the end, I ended up troubleshooting and repaired the system myself by replacing a $7 capacitor in the condensing unit.

I have known these folks for 11 years and have had nothing but excellent service; which included a complete replacement of our HVAC system in 2001 and continuous service on my unitsl since 1999.

He was good, he explained that closing our vents in rooms not used often was actually hurting instead of helping. That in a trailer home, all vents need to be open & doors open to equalize the pressure.

A-1 Service came out and fixed all my problems, with the upmost professionalty I have ever seen. They were thourgh with their diagnostics. They had my Air Conditoner up and running better than it has ever been. I would truly recommend that to anybody.
