drain cleaning

 + 0 moreMr. Leggett and his helper showed up on time, accessed the problem and explained to me that something was clogged in the line, then jetted out the system. They were very knowledgeable, respectful and helped to make sure I understood what was going on. I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone.

 + 0 moreAfter calling around to several companies and never getting a call back, I finally tried my luck with Angie's List and found Leggett Plumbing. The owner scheduled to come out that evening. I was under the impression that I needed a new water heater and after discussing the situation with them, they helped me to save hundreds of $$$ by simply replacing the heating element that went out verses the entire water heater! Most companies would have taken advantage of someone not knowing better and overcharged them and replaced the entire water heater!! VERY HONEST and would recommend to others.

 + 0 moreI hired this company after I fired my builder. The builder's unlicensed plumber left my home a wreck. Leggett, promising me as a licensed master plumber, that he would check everything and would leave all my plumbing in full working order. Leggett overcharged me, in my calculation over $2000 an hour with 2 guys. I moved in and my new home FLOODED during the first load of wash! The next plumber clearly showed me that the builder's plumber was in fault, but Leggett was also in fault for not even noticing or correcting the very obvious problem. I do not recommend Leggett plumbing.

Description of Work: They replugged our septic tank. Also installed two water faucets, one in the yard and one on our dock. Replaced toilet innards also. |Carl was our plumber, very nice personality, tried to work quickly and was a pleasure to have in our home. He was very knowledgeable, and we were very pleased with his work.

Description of Work: The good news is that I called a number of plumbers and at least this one responded and would get to me on a timely basis. I had two leaking outside faucets that were making a mess and I wanted them repaired asap. They were very pleasant on the phone and seemed professional. They arrived at my home on time and went right to work replacing two outside faucets. I doubt that it took more than 30 minutes for the man to do an excellent job replacing the two faucets. While he was there, I also wanted to run a line for an ice maker in the refridgerator. Since the house already had a fixture at the wall and is lakeside and on beams, he could just walk under the house and run the line....a pretty straight forward job. Again, I doubt that it took 20 minutes. The only delay was that he did not have enough clips to tie the line under the house and had to return to the shop to get the parts. Not being prepared with enough parts cost him and me a good 90 minutes round trip and I believe this is where the problem was created. The cost of $500 for one hour of work (max) and some very inexpensive parts (two outside water faucets and about 10 feet of flexible hose for the ice maker) seemed obnoxiously high to me. I guess I made the mistake of not getting a quote in advance. I figured it would be 200 bucks tops. All of that said, the work was done correctly and when I needed it and I am happy for that. I should have negotiated the price up front or at least protested it when the plumber returned to me with the invoice.

Description of Work: Stopped up kitchen sink. I called the day before and left a message and no one called me back until the next morning. I guess around 10 AM when she did return the call. She was apologetic and said that someone could come out immediately. They were there in within 20 minutes and didn't have any troubles cleaning it out. They waited and made sure that it was going to drain. Very professional, pleased with the service, and would use again.

 + -1 moreIt cost me something between $900 and $1000 and it was actually a lot better than what I was expecting. They've been doing services for us for a long time and they just do a good job. When they say they're going to come out and do the job, they really do and they make sure that it's done correctly. The other thing that we really like about them is that they do services at my grandmother's house and we feel safe with them being with her by herself and there's no worry about that. They were out the very next day to take care of the issue.
Description of Work: I've used Leggett Plumbing. Our bathtub was not draining and they fixed that. They actually had to go to the yard and they got the roots growing into the pipe.

 + -1 moreVery bad repuation in Polk County and ripped us off then tried to get us into what was their fault. They got what they deserved.....
Description of Work: This Compnay reported us for tapping a toilet at our newly built busines into our well. The City of Goodrich, Mayor Nita made us purchase a water tap and of course they use Leggett Plumbing to do their taps. While digging they cut all the telephone lines for 2 Counties and the Phone Company sued them. They, Mr. Leggett sued us trying to say we moved the flags is why he cuts the lines. It was eventually thrown out of Court, our part......Very bad people
