The realtor met her at the house as we were unable to be there. She sent us the inspection report by email. It did not seem like a very thorough report. We found out later that there was rotting in some of the soffits. When we turned on the air conditioning, it didn't cool the house and we had to have a fan replaced. Since we weren't with her at the time of inspection, we didn't know if she had even checked the AC or not. We had used Dale Marston for a home inspection on a rental property in Pasadena last year, and he sent us a 30 page report with photos of every room and outside. He reported the status each outlet, light fixture, plumbing, everything. I guess we were just expecting the same level of thoroughness, and didn't get it.
