The movers were slow. Took the 6hrs to move two bedroom sets and living room and washer and dryer. I had already moved all boxes and pictures. I left only big items. They messed up my wall moving and broke my book shelf. Along with that they lied and said they couldn’t hook up my dryer.

Moved in here, and had to pay for both rent, moved last day of September. I moved real late, and I'm still surrounded by boxes. A lot more than I expected to pay. I thought it would be five hundred. I had a lot of boxes, and we went out of town. We kind of had to throw it all in boxes. We brought a lot more than I needed. We moved from Garland to Sherman, and had to go on the interstate. He laid out the charges and everything, since I was moving so far. I didn't feel he was trying to pad the bill. One reason it bothers me when I can't communicate. Here in Texas, there is a lot who can't speak English. One of the workers only spoke Spanish, and the other worker did speak English. One thing that I especially like that they wrapped everything up with bubble wrap, which protected the furniture. It would depend on how much it would cost. Not have so many extra boxes, and save up on some money.

Horrible! Omar, the sole proprietor, business practice and behavior was EGREGIOUS, UNCONSCIOUNABLE and in violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA). Initially, OMAR seemed nice. He said, "I'm your new friend." Ironically, he was anything but. In fact, it was a sign of things to come. He was more like a predator or scam artist taking advantage of a female. He came out to see the apartment that I was moving from and said that it would be easier if I moved small lamps and smaller items. I walked him through apartment including the patio and showed him everything I needed moved. Moreover, he said "WE ARE NEVER LATE." First, he and his team showed up more than 30 minutes late; second; he ripped an expensive U-Haul box to use a portion of it as a door stop and then lied and said he didn't do it; third, he only took a portion of the items and then argued that certain items were not furniture; fourth, when he arrived he told me that he could not tell me how much additional boxes were after telling me that my $600 price included only 40 boxes. He constantly boasted he was the owner yet - he could not tell me how much additional boxes would be because he had to wait and see. I had a male friend on the phone listening as I spoke to him at his truck. When my male friend (standing at 6' 5") arrived and asked Omar the same question he answered him. $10 for small boxes and $15 for larger boxes. $858 later and 12 hours later - I still had to rent a UHaul for two days to move the rest of the items alone. He did not provide a receipt. He had to make two trips and on top of that threw my boxes wherever he wanted despite having tape that distinguished the areas where items should go. Kitchen, bedroom, dining room etc. He stayed on his phone for the most part while 2 of his helpers did most of the work. He told me he couldn't remove the washer and dryer without taking down the doors and that he was not responsible for putting them as they were. He began to chastise me (saying that) he should have asked for more. He demanded I pay him in CASH ONLY before he went back for the other stuff. He refuse to take the bed and washer and dryer the first trip. When he brought the washer and dryer - he said my dryer's plug was three prong and the wall was four prong. Not true! The wall's socket was a three prong socket. He and his men plugged the washer up incorrectly. When I thought I was using cold, it was hot and vice versa. I finally told him after we returned the second time that he was rude and sexist. Not to mention unprofessional. My painter heard OMAR ratling off how much I would owe additionally. He said, why wouldn't he move everything for one price? For $858 my entire unit should have been moved. But he charged me additional for large items that should have been included and that I specifically pointed out to him. Omar is a scam artist, a sexist and just unprofessional. Not to mention he has an issue with veracity. If you are a male, you may have better luck. BUT he will find a way to raise prices. This was the worse experience ever. Furthermore he and his team damaged several items. I am an attorney who fights for injustices like these. I have every intention on filling a claim to recoup the funds that he overcharged me. His business practices are deceptive and not the basis of the bargain that I signed up for. The Deceptive Trade Practices Act protects consumers from scam artist like him. Additionally, the Act provides for attorney's fees and treble damages. Angie's List and it's proprietors are doing consumers a huge disservice by keeping him on your board. To say this was distressing is to understate Omar's egregious business practices and behavior.

They have a fantastic operation, they have a great packing team and equipment. The whole company is very professional. Nothing on the move was broken. Their communication was excellent and able to speak multiple languages both English and Spanish. The price was excellent compared to other quotes. They are also able to move heavier items such as pianos.

Everything went quite well, the crew arrived with 2 moving trucks (I asked for biggest truck & a 3 men crew) and started loading right away. Wrapped all the furniture and were really nice with the washer and dryer. After moving 3 times in the last 2 years, this was the best movers I saw so far. Company rep was quick to respond and was following up over the phone on the project status.
