Would not hire someone of their caliber. Completely unprofessional. I paid materials for them to use on multiple projects. They have failed to meet the requirements and the city had to demolish the building because the work was never completed. Make sure to always do your research

From replacing blinds to totally stripping my kitchen cabinets, they were the real deal. I still believe in a handshake makes a contract and so does Billy and the crew and they performed above and beyond and made sure I was happy with the project every step of the way, nor to mention they are a jack of all trades and come up with solutions on the fly. Keep these guys on your list.

Work was scheduled for the next day after my 1st call. Work was completed within 1 hour. Workers were friendly and competent.

Plumbing issue was resolved in a timely fashion and everything is now working normal again.

Marquis Brother was awesome they repaired and finished our sunroom for which another contracted had stopped working and never returned. They painted the room first with fixing the electric and finishing the electrical work which the previous contractor had not even finish nor done right then on sealing the exterior of the room they found the brick not layered correctly and tore it down and went the extra miles to install siding to make the room proper and water sealed plus added weather proofing which the previous contractor never did prior to doing the brick wrong. We are so grateful for the honest work plus the warranty provided, and in the end they even installed our AV equipment which was not part of the job.

The worst experience ever. They are unprofessional and have yet to complete the job that was quoted as taking only about 1 week to complete. They make excuses daily as to why they are not working on the project. They asked for an advance of the balance due because their "water will be shut off if the water company doesn't get paid" they said. The agreement was 50% in advance plus cost of materials at "contractor" discount rate at Lowe's. They do not get a contractors discount according to Lowe's and they charged tools to my account, not just material. They estimated about $500 in material for the job and they are over $1100 at this point and the job is not done. They do not bring their own tools, and expected to use my ladder, and my shop vac. Which I forced them to use since they were not cleaning up daily IN my house.

I received a bid from Marquis Brothers on March 20, 2019. We agreed that the work would be performed on March 29 and 30. Billy Marquis stated in his text that they would start between 9 am and 10 am on Friday, March 30. The issues with this company started from the beginning. The crew did not show up until after lunch. They immediately started throwing tile on the wall with little to no preparation. They finished getting the tile on the wall fairly quickly and stated that it would not be dry enough to grout the following day as scheduled. When they left I took a closer look and there were quality issues so I sent pictures (attached) to Billy Marquis. He called me back and said that his crew told him I didn’t want them back the following day. As stated above they told me it wouldn’t be dry enough. He said he would try to get them over the following day but it didn’t happen. They returned on April 6 to grout and correct the issues. I wasn’t able to spend that much time watching them. When they left it was very clear that there were several issues so again I sent pictures (attached) to Billy Marquis. We talked on the phone that evening and I told him that I wanted someone else to come correct the issues. We have been going back and forth by text and he still has not sent anyone to correct. I have not heard from him since April 23 at 6:45 pm. Please take a look at the pictures I have attached. This is a follow up to my last review. Marquis Brothers still has not contacted me to correct their poor workmanship.

Searched Angie's List for a handyman. I made contact with Marquis Brothers. The owner provided a price and I txt a photo of the door and weather stripping. I agreed to his price. He stated he was involved in a project and I stated no problem this was not a rush project. After a week I called to verify if he was still interested - he said he was, but still busy. Three weeks later still not contact from him. I feel I have been very accommodating to his time schedule. I also feel he is unprofessional by not contacting me. Currently, my project is complete by another handyman from Home Adviser. He completed the project two days after initial contact...was professional and $55.00 less than Marquis Brothers. No I would contact this man again and would not recommend to others.

It did not happen. Marquis Brothers completely missed the appointment time and did not show up at all. When I called them, they gave me some excuse about their car breaking down. However, they completely ignored to contact me to let me know that they are not sending anyone.

This was a great crew. Very polite and professional. Job was booked last second and they rocked it!!! I will definitely hire again!!!

Dryer installation - Needed a part from Home Depot, installer picked it up for me and not only did not mark up the price, but gave me their discount price. Excellent excellent service

It went very well. They came over the same day I called them. Billy was very patient with me. I even hired them for additional jobs and I'm looking forward to working with them again.

My wife and I are selling our home and the buyers wanted some work done on the roof to cover some nail heads with tar as well as adding some trim pieces to cover a gap next to a vent cover. After submitting my request for a quote I received a near immediate response and we were able to get the project completed less than 24 hours later. I can’t recommend Marquis Brothers enough. Their communication and professionalism is top notch and I will definitely be doing business with them again.

They were fast and did a great job caulking and sealing up our chimney’s fresh air intake to keep bugs and water from getting in. They also covered some exposed nail heads that were showing on the roof all for a great price!
