CHATMON SERVICES

VERY BADLY. Chatmon exaggerates his level of skill, experience and knowledge of painting. He doesn't have the ability to perform the quality of work that is expected. The work done on my house is far below the normal standard and what I expected from a "professional" painter. He painted my front porch instead of staining it as agreed and later admitted he didn't know how to stain concrete as he indicated he did at the start of the job. He also painted my wood deck instead of replacing all boards and staining it. He did not replace the boards as agreed and that is why he painted it instead of staining so I wouldn't know the difference. Additionally, the normal standard of care, to protect my property and those things not intended to be painted, was not taken therefore leaving me with replacement costs and the cost of hiring someone to come in and cleanup and do the job right. His fees are exorbitant for the quality of his work. Additionally, when I told him about the things he did that we not done as agreed, he brutally attacked me and I am a small woman. Chatmon comes across as a nice guy eager to please but he is quite the opposite, I found out the hard way. Not only does Chatmon's painting not meet the normal standard he is obviously unpredictable when asked to correct things that he should have done right the first time and as agreed. He is NOT an honest person nor is he trustworthy and will try to get by with whatever he can to cut his own costs of doing the job hired to do at the rate he charges. DON'T HIRE CHATMON SERVICES BECAUSE YOU WILL LIKELY SPEND MORE MONEY ON CLEANUP, REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR THAN IF YOU SIMPLY HIRE SOMEONE QUALIFIED IN THE FIRST PLACE. HE IS DISHONEST, VOLATILE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNSKILLED. Hiring John Chatmon / Chatmon services with the biggest mistake I have EVER made in my life.
