**WE OFFER FINANCING** We specialize in home renovation and remodeling including additions. Our experience provides you with quality workmanship for your home project.
We are nearly 1 year from when we contracted with Brian for our 30x24 back deck. The deck was partially finished June 2023, with half the deck getting 1 coat and the other half getting 2 coats. Needless to say it’s two different colors and not in a good way. There are several construction issues (gates sagging / boards popping / spindles too long / stairs not supported and sagging). We told Brian in October 2023 that we wanted a portion of the money back so we could hire someone to fix it. He came out, said he would get back to us that week. Nothing. 4 months later we messaged again and got no response. At this point, we are done and have held off with the review until now.

I contracted Brian to do change my garage into a master bedroom and bath, along with other issues of flooring. We contracted him in April of 2021. He only completed half the work and took 90% of the money. He was delayed due to rain and I foolishly paid and trusted him to complete the job. He lied and did not deliver the materials or finish the work as promised. He and his workers would only work a couple hours a day at first, then after the time it was supposed to be finished, he would string me along for months. Maybe showing up 2 days or so a month, doing a little here and there. He left the demolition of my garage for over a half a year open to the elements. The materials for the bathroom never made it to the house. I finally after a year of this i hired another contractor to finish the job, which at the end i paid double the original bid to finish correctly. After the new contractor finished the job, Brian promised me he would pay me back half the money i wanted in refund. Still to no avail, he would say i will have it in a month, it would stretch out to 6 months total and i still have received no money. This has affected my family and my marriage. It is a shame that guys like these contractors can steal your money with no consequences. Please refrain from hiring this gentlemen so you don't have to go what my family went through.

If I could give this person a lower rating I would. The most that Brian Bernardelli could be considered for is a handyman, but he is not a contractor. I was told not to pay him a lot of money upfront by a lumber company (I will not give the person's name or place of employment). Brain can be very conning and he will lead you to believe that he can do anything and believe me he can not. My shower is leaking, the floor is unleveled, he pieced together the trim in the bathroom and did not do the siding for outside. I feel it is my fault I should have heed to the signs, but I was so excited that I was finally getting a second bathroom with a house of five kids and two adults failed to follow through with hiring the right person for the job. UPDATE AS OF 3/10/2022: I have nothing to gain with my review, use him don't that is your disappointment to cope with. The shower is beautiful without doubt, but a costly nightmare. The shower pan is leaking which has to be replaced, no one will repair the pan because they will not be liable for the shower. The beautiful shower that he is so "happy" with has to be replaced and will cost $5,000. You do the Math, beautiful shower or usable shower.

Just a few things she left out: 1. Had to install a window she decided to have after asking her repeatedly while framing, she decided she needed after the Sheetrock was installed 2. The floor was out of level in one spot because they dropped a tree branch on it while it was being framed and I didn’t catch until after the fact. 3. Everything we did in her bathroom had to be done at least twice because she would change her mind constantly. 4. NEVER charged her a cent more for any change or extra she wanted. 5. Removed her office carpet and installed new flooring and trim at no charge. As far as her leaking shower, she had someone come over and finish the drains I had started. I never looked at what was done until she complained about a leak. I found that they cracked the housing on the drain and tried to fix by installing metal clamps. She had a tile person that she wanted to use and I agreed to pay for even though I am not responsible. The person she asked me to use decided she didn’t want to work for her either and declined the job. The siding wasn’t done because she kept changing her mind on the siding she wanted and ended up doing it with someone else. Buy her own accounting there was still $6000.00 left in the job to be paid (I have the text message). I never asked for any payments. This bathroom turned out very nice. The shower is beautiful and has a top of the line glass wall and door. She has a wonderful reclaimed cedar wall that her tub sits in front of that is fantastic. She has a custom closet built exactly how she wanted it done. We converted an old dresser into a vanity. She gets into Such a rush to do things and it’s my fault when it doesn’t work out how she wants. I went above and beyond to try and make her bathroom a showroom and a place she could enjoy. So many of the up grades I paid for or did for free. The reclaimed cedar alone was $2500.00. The shower wall glass was $2000.00 not some cheap off the shelf kit. When I was doing stuff for free I’m the greatest but now…

Excellent!! Brian is amazing to work with. Super friendly and very honest with you. We had a horrible situation with our original builder but Brian did everything he could do to help and more! I would definitely say he went above and beyond for us. He also does not rack up prices on you. I will definitely go to him again for future house projects and I would absolutely recommend him to my friends/ family. 10/10

If I could give minus -5 stars, I would. We hired BnS Construction in October for a master bedroom/bathroom reno. At the time, the owner, Brian, told us it would take 8 weeks, taking us to Dec. 18th, and three payment installments: One at the beginning of the project, one halfway, and one at the end when the job was completed. No contract, which should have been our first clue, and should definitely be yours if you're reading this. In November, when all he'd done was knock out a wall, remove an old tub and do some jackhammering (hardly halfway), he asked for the second installment, telling us to "get ready, because all kinds of deliveries are going to be coming to your door." Nothing. Not one thing came to our door. As for dependability, when he showed up, which averaged 2-3 days a week, he worked for a maximum of 2 hours at a time. We never saw the man work a full day. Not once. Five months later, we're left with nothing that resembles functional or livable. Sheer frustration led us to finally read reviews on the Better Business Bureau recently, which, admittedly, we should have done before we hired him, despite Angi's recommendation (I can't figure out this "vetting" process of Angi's, for the life of me). With an average of 1.75 stars on BBB, we decided to have a number of professionals come in to assess his work. We told him in advance that we were going to do this, and he replied with, "Any contractor can walk in there and find things wrong just to get the job. Give me a chance to make it up to you." We insisted on moving ahead with his work being evaluated for our own peace-of-mind, and here's the short list of what we've witnessed being discovered (things done by BnS Construction): - Removed a load bearing wall and did not put in any kind of compensating support - Used substandard, plastic plumbing fittings instead of brass - Did the plumbing himself (he said he couldn't find a plumber), and we've since learned that if there's an issue after the fact, insurance won't cover us unless the work is done by a certified plumber - Busted one of our existing pipes by our toilet while jackhammering the floor - Put up drywall over a live/hot plug - in our wet shower area!! This is the worst, by far, and we wouldn't have found it had our current contractor not insisted on taking down the drywall Brian put up due to poor quality. At least two of these bullet points were not only absurd, but appear to be potentially life-threatening! Apparently the man got COVID during his time with us, and we did have a week of terrible snowstorms in Texas, but even subtracting the total of 4 weeks where he couldn't come to our house, we still have been left with 4.5 months of our time, 4-6 hours a week of his, and $14,000.00 out the window with nothing to show for it but the start of a reno that needs a thorough reno. I could go on for pages, but suffice it to say that we wouldn't recommend BnS Construction if our dog house needed repair.

Owner came and met with us on Monday Sepetember 7th and bid the job 17,00.00. He requested half down. He was paid $8,800.00. He and one helper came on Wednesday of the same week and cut holes for the windows. They stayed 21/2 hours. They came on Thursday and stayed from 10:30 a.m. till 2:30p.m. On that Friday He called and said he could not make if. They came and cut holes to the outside on Monday. He said he wasn't coming on Tuesday because it was going to rain. On Thursday we called him at noon to see when he was coming back. We got no answer. My husband finally got an E-Mail that he was going to be able to come because he was in a depisition at court. He sent his helper on Friday, and he worked on cutting some wood. On Monday of the next week, the helper put in the windows. There were still holes to the outside in all four windows. We did not see the boss until Friday. The helper was left to do all the work by himself. He had no ablilty to cut wood straight and he places half of the pourch beems upside down. When we complained he said it would be corrected. It was not. For the next 2 weeks, the helper continued to work alone. All this time, we had holes in our roof. We placed Pillows in the window holes to keep the insects out. One morning when we came back from hiking, a bird had flown in through one of the holes. The second week in October was when the holes were closed to the outside. The inside and outside of the windows are still unfinished but he had another helper come tear off the roof. The helper placed roofing on the roof without flashing and at the roof transitions, he just nailed the shingles over the edge of the roof when my husband yelled and screamed. Meanwhile, the other helpler started framing the deck without any support to the house. They brought lumber supports and left them sitting on top of the deck frame. My husband was out there every day complaining and telling them what they needed to correct. He would have fired them but we knew we would never get our money back. We finally fired him the last wek of october. The roof has since been removed and reroofed by Gordy Roofing in 2 days with proper flashing and materials. The window trim will need to be completly redone and one of the windows already Fills with condensation between the double paynes. We got an quote to complete the deck and contractor said the whole frame would need to be torn down or the deck would fall. All the material used except the shingles, were used or bought at bargin outlets. The roofing nails were rusty. One of the windows has failed. We are retired and we had saved for many years to have this work done. We now do not have to money to complete any of this work except the roof that was going to destroy our house if it was not corrected. Please do not make the same mistakes we did. It is a hard lesson to learn and there is very little recourse.

First and foremost I wish to apologize to Mr. & Mrs [Member Name Removed] for there experience. I wish nothing but a positive outcome for all My customers. I was hired to install 4 dormers and a new roof and a deck over an existing building. We started the dormers first as they where to be the most difficult part of the job. We started the job on The 2 new dormers and opened up the wall to see what we where dealing with before cutting into the roof. The other 2 dormers where existing windows that where leaking already. We ask for and received a response every day to what we did and there satisfaction to what was done. Dormers were framed in and deck, wrapped, windows installed windows taped in and then siding installed and trimmed and caulked. Customer even caulked 2 of the dormers in himself because “he had nothing to do” and wanted to help. Customer never yelled at any one. [Member Name Removed] even made use a snack a few days which was very nice. Contact with the customer was at times very hard as to the fact cell signal was poor and we had to communicate through email sometimes. I never started another days work without asking if they have any problems that needed to be addressed. Mr [Member Name Removed] expressed a few things which we addressed immensely to his satisfaction. The roof was stripped and damaged decking was replaced at no charge to home owners. New synthetic paper was installed along with 30 year architectural shingles purchased from ABC Supply. I spoke with Mr [Member Name Removed] on the Friday roof was complete and he expressed no issues with roof. I received an email on Sunday saying I was fired and no longer needed and to come pick up my tools. I went there on Monday and say Mr [Member Name Removed] and spoke of the issues he had and I agreed to repair and he replied he didn’t want me to repair. The deck was a work in progress and in no way was complete and ready for use. All materials used where purchased at typical retail outlets and where not in any way discount materials. Mistakes happen and I would never walk away from a job. I would have done what was necessary to appease my customer. Through this entire job I NEVER received any text message or email with a complaint that wasn’t addressed to customer’s satisfaction. Mistakes happen but they can be fixed. I never got the chance. As far as another contractor saying something else needs to be done you should also consider there motivation, a repair is much less expensive than a total replacement.
