RJ's Decks By Design

Description of Work: We hired him to build a coverded deck in our front yard and a large porch on the back of the house. He asked for $4500 up front which we paid. He probably only did about $2000 worth of work, showed up around 10:30 each day and left at noon to take a two hour lunch. He showed up wearing flip flops and asked my wife to pay the rest of the cost of the project, $1500.00 even though it was not finished yet. She declined. He walked off the job and left a mess in our yard. He rarely worked more than 3 hours a day for two weeks. Three other contractors looked at the work and said there was only about $1700-$1800 worth of supplies and labor done. One of the contractors was a former employer that had fired him.
