Chris the owner came by and walked the area with me to understand what I wanted and to give me some suggestions. I had unimproved access to the 3 car garage/shop in the back yard but it was rough and very little extra room due to all the tress and brush. Chris had to trim a few large oaks to ensure there was enough head space for my RV. I wanted to be able to drive the RV into the backyard and drive around a large circle and then park next to the Garage.
He cleared the entire area of cedars and big rocks) and even moved an extra tree stump. Then put down a roadbase. He leveled and than adjusted the slope for drainage.
after the 10" rain we had a couple months ago the road was good as new.
Before he finished we drove it with the trailer to make sure everything was ok.
I'm very happy with the job and the ability to park my t.v. out back and have easy and smooth access to the shop.

They put in 42 fence posts. They were straight and even. We had laid out where they were to go. Some of them were to be 5and quot; posts and some 4and quot; posts. Some were to have concrete. We flagged each location and type of post and they installed them as requested. They did a good job. We would use them again.

Doug and the crew are some of the hardest working guys I have met. They are well equipped with the proper machinery for site work. He has a couple of sub-contractors that were excellent. The entire crew performed very well during the extreme heat of the summer of '11. They were excellent communicators and were able to follow engineered plans. Doug contributed to solving issues that arose in executing the plan. Doug interacted well with County inspectors and satisfied the inspector's requirements.
Doug came to our attention almost a decade ago when we bought our place east of Austin, near Manor. He proved to be skillful in the use of his machinery and a contractor who has a WIDE range of skills and equipment available. He is able to perform most any work required on a ranch, farm, or country estate.
Because of our satisfaction with his general land work, we contracted with Doug to be our site contractor for the construction of a significant project on our land (a wedding and event center). He demolished an existing shed late in '10, and completed a wide variety of site work over the next year and a half. We acted as the general contractor/builder on this project and feel that Doug was our favorite contractor of the many that worked on this project. He and his crew performed work as expected, were able to adjust to our changing schedules, and displayed integrity during the many ups and downs expected when taking on such a significant construction project. When costs began to exceed our projected budget, Doug was good at working with us to keep his part under control. He reached out to many suppliers for the best material pricing (where significant variations can be found). He communicates well and displayed an involvement and dedication to our project's success.... he cared! During the project he maintained the same crew members, which is a tribute to his good business practices in that he retains his employees (not true with many small contractors).
Doug used a concrete sub-contractor that we were very pleased with. Some early problems with a different concrete sub were dealt with and Doug removed the contractor and found a different, and very skilled, replacement. Doug generally supervised the sub well, even when Doug was not working on site.
We, as the builder, were also involved in many of the details of the project and in all the design and design changes. Doug worked well with us during this process, which often required some flexibility on his part in both schedule and change orders. Doug contributed to design ideas during the work.
In addition to the site work, Doug did two large steel projects which totaled about $20,000. Doug is a skilled welder and his partner, Paul, is likewise skilled in many areas. They use the proper tools and executed these important projects to our satisfaction.
I would (and will) hire Doug in future... without question.

Doug came on time for an initial meeting to give me an estimate for the work I wanted done. I hired him based on this meeting. He and his partner arrived when promised and worked so hard! no breaks except lunch and they were here for nearly 8 hourse! Doug's partner did a tremendous amount of chain saw work which I hadn't even expected! All day, they kept saying, "is there anything else you want done?" and "are you happy with the way this looks?" They got all the work done that I had requested and did much more beyond what they had agreed to! I could not be more pleased with their professionalism and fantastic attitude as well as the quantity and QUALITY of the work that was done!

I have used them for the last few years, to do several things. They do an excellent Job. They are consciences and reasonably priced. He is skillful in using his machinery. He does fencing, barns, welding, drive ways, tree removal, tree shredding, narrow buildings etc. They do a large variety of jobs. They are currently working with our landscaping project, around the deck. I liked their services and will use the same in future.
