Your Handyman

It took three visits to get the job done, but that was not Terry Wilson's fault. I did not buy the trim kit when I bought the microwave, hoping the old trim would fit the new oven. Alas, it did not, necessitating a return visit. On the second try, it became apparent that the cabinet would have to be trimmed out in order to make the new trim fit. It was close to 5:00 when this was discovered. Sal, the installer, said if he stayed, he would have to charge time and a half for overtime--so we agreed that he would come back to finish the job. Even though there were these delays, I was very well satisfied with the workmanship. Sal was very professional and efficient and courteous. Terry finished the job, and he, too, was excellent. The men arrived on time--got the job done, and cleaned up before leaving. The price for this work was reasonable--a bit less than other handymen advertised. We will definitely call YourHandyman again.

Before we put our house on the market, we had a HUGE list of things to do to keep our house out of the "Ugly House" category. Front front to back and to peeling ceilings to termite damage,fence repairs, and staining in addition of demolition of a falling down pool machinery room to construction of a new one. Terry Wilson and his crew turned the house into a jewel that was sold the first day on the market. I give them. A lot of credit for this and for taking the time to do very good quality work. They are everything they say they are and I'll recommend them highly!

My water heater was 10 years old and had finally died. Terry was very responsive and was able to send one of his crew over to my house within the hour. As I did not have a vehicle to transport something so large, he went with me to the local home improvement store and brought it back to my house. He then removed my old water heater and installed the new one according to my local codes. I was only without hot water for a few hours thanks to him. Would definitely use again!

Everything went along very smoothly from start to finish. If you need a handyman, Terry is the guy to call.

Your Handyman responded to my voice mail promptly, told me their hourly cost and approximately how long the work would take. He showed up on time, was prepared, built a sturdy platform in about the time estimated and cleaned up afterwards.

Job took longer than expected but the hanyman stuck with his quoted price and completed the job much to my satisfaction.

I posted on Your Handman's website that I needed a service to install a ceiling fan. The owner of Your Handman, Terry Wilson, responded within a couple of hours. He asked me if Saturday at 12pm would be good for me and I stated yes. Also, he asked pertinent questions such as what room it was going in, how high was the ceiling and what type of fan needed to be installed. He suggested based upon my ceiling's height that I purchase a downrod before he got there on Saturday. He told me what length to purchase based upon the ceiling's height. It was so nice for someone to suggest what additional items would be needed for the installation. He arrived as promised on Saturday at 12pm. He installed the fan within 30 minutes with the fan working properly. It was great to have such a professional perform the job so quickly. Efficient and professional. He was amazing and a really great guy. The finished product looks really really good. The whole thing was excellent.

We worked with Drew and Alexander for the projects. They did everything that we needed to get completed before selling our house except for the painting and the roof Their hourly rate was reasonable for the work. They were very professional, accommodating and flexible. For example, when the inspector came out and advised that if no cement was used with the foundation of the deck steps, it would cave in within six month months. Alex and Drew immediately stopped the work and offered alternative solutions. In the end, they put in the cement as requested. I am very happy with their services.

They have always been professional, quote prices, always on time and are excellent in performance. They are gentlemen who care and give quality service at a fair price. I was spoiled by my engineer husband so, I am a real critic. Very definitely, will use again!

I thought I could replace an electrical switch myself, but only created more problems. After my "fix", various electrical switches and outlets would not work in a section of my home and I simply could not solve the problem. Called Terry Wilson, owner of Your Handyman and he called back within an hour (on a Saturday afternoon). He said he would have Eric, his electrician call. Eric came by after finishing another job, replaced the two faulty swtiches (my unsuccessful attempts at electrical wiring), and was done within 30 minutes. Eric was very polite/courteous, very professional, prompt, and very specific about how much the job would cost. I could not have asked for better service.

Terry was great with responding to my email request and giving me instructions on the supplies needed for the job. I easily found the supplies and emailed him back, and he and his team scheduled the work for the following day. He arrived promptly and went right to work, and took care of everything within an hour. I was so thankful and pleased to have someone I could call and trust to take care of this work. Even though it was relatively minor, it was something I could not handle myself and I will definitely call Terry again whenever I have a job around the house with which I need his help! Really, really GREAT!. I have used this company before and they are absolutly the BEST!. They are knowledgable, professional, very friendly, reasonable pricing and know their stuff!. They can do about any repairs and if they can not, they are honest enough to say they can't. They hung all new interior doors after others told me it could not be done and fixed several " honey do's" around the house. They work clean, fast and neat. They treat your home like their own. Terry, the owner, employs only the best. I have met Drew and Alexander who are a pleasure to have in my home. It is so nice to hire a company that is serious about pleasing their customers and leave my home as clean as they found it. WoW.. They are a great find and are keepers ... so what are you waiting for. call them!!! :))

They came out at the scheduled time and had brought the supplies that they needed with them. We needed rotted wood replaced on the chimney, a valve fixed on the gas water heater, some electrical work and just miscellaneous minor repairs. They worked a few hours and got everything done on the list that we had agreed to at this time. We were very pleased with their work, their professionalism and their helpful hints to fix some of the things ourselves. We will have them come back out in the Fall to do some of the interior updating - new light fixtures, replace some interior doors and finish caulking the outside. I was very impressed that they could do a variety of jobs and seemed to do them efficiently.

The electrician was prompt and polite. He kept the work area clean of debris and worked quickly and efficiently. Professionalism for a good price, can't beat that.

I spoke with Terry on Thursday evening and he was at our house the next afternoon. He was 10 minutes early and a real pleasure to speak and work with. Terry said that it would take an hour to complete and he got all work done in less than that. The price was fair and exactly what he quoted. I have already planned to use him again for some more extensive handyman jobs that I just don't have the time to deal with. I recommend Your Handyman without reservation.

They arrived 10 minutes early and quickly screwed down the deck. Next painted the mailbox post and replaced the metal box. Took just under an hour to complete. Charlie was very professional. From the phone call to schedule the work through completion, they were excellent. I will definitely use again, hard to find someone who will do small jobs.

Terry responded right away to my email and provided a clear estimate for removing a pair of damaged exterior window shutters on the second story of our home. We scheduled a date for the work and his team showed up right on time and completed the project in less than an hour. The entire transaction was 100% professional and the crew even removed the old shutters for us: nice! We would definitely call Your Handyman again.
