Your Handyman

Great work. Simple task but without the right equipment (12 ft step ladder) I couldn't get it done. Called them at 0830 and they were at my front door at 0915.

Grant arrived on time and completed the work with the tools and supplies he had. Very courteous and capable. I look forward to using them for future projects.

They did a pretty good but not a great job. I thought the price was fair. Some things were crooked and some things just didn't have the level of detail but he was a very nice guy and respectful.

Terry came over one morning and estimated everything out and came back and gave me a formal estimate of time/cost etc. a day later. I searched around other vendors and his pricing was very competitive. I decided to go with him and didn't regret it. He sent over 2 guys as we agreed and Scott was great to work with, super nice guy. Walked us through everything and made extra effort to finish everything on time. They looked like they were starting off slow with our attic but picked up in the afternoon and got all the jobs completed within 30 minutes of their estimated time. We will definitely use Terry again when I have a long to-do list.

Excellent - As noted above I need an assortment of items then needed addressed. The person who came to my house had a very diverse skill set.

It all started back in August of 2015, water leak continued to penetrate through fall of 2015. In December I contacted Terry and explained damage. He said he would send a crew and he did next day, handy man showed up started removal of the original repair. Removed flashing, shingles, tar paper, rotten sheetrock, insulation. And replaced with new Scott and Grant textured damage wall and fixed leak with new flashing and materiel. Sound workman-ship. All rework was done at no expense just like Terry said.

The owner personally followed up with me to ensure that we were satisfied with their work. When I brought up a concern, he scheduled a visit to see exactly what I was referring to, he then called me to clarify issue and promised resolution by weeks end. He overdelivered on his promise and we could not be more pleased with their detailed work. I can assure you that he is extremely diligent and will ensure that you are satisfied. I strongly recommend Your Handyman for your next project, I am planning to use them again for other projects.

Great service as usual. I have been using these guys for about 8-10 years now for every kind of job they perform. I always call Terry first to see if he can help, and usually he can. If it's not a service they perform, he will recommend someone. I have recommended them to friends and relatives who have also been very pleased.

A guy came to give me an estimate 2 hr maybe 2.5 he said. Next morning another guy showed up and started. later in the day 3hr later he said the job was over his level and left. Next morning the original guy who took the estimate and the guy who said was not his level showed up to finish the job. Then the bill was written for 2 carpenters and 3 times the estimate. I told them to call the owner he showed up and I explained to him if the guy did not know how to do the job why did he stay 3hr then leave. I mean he did do something went to Lowes twice and replaced a 2x4 and some trim. The guy who showed up the next morning reworked what the original carpenter did and charged me for it. If rework is done, that is eaten by the company not by the customer. The owner said how much would I pay and we came to the conclusion of me paying what the second carpenter did in hours plus some material. Anyways the leak where they worked and spent approx 9 hr to R&R some flashing, was done in a poor fashion and lack of knowledge. I went up the roof and saw what was done and I myself finished what they did not. Very dissatisfied with the (your handyman). Now the water stains inside of the wall in the LR is worst then before I'm hoping I plugged the cracks and screwed the flashing as they should hav, p*** poor workmanship these guys.NO I WOULD NOT AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

Terry and his team members communicated well about when the work would start and how long it would take. They were prompt and professional. They were very well qualified and experienced - able to do everything I needed within the time & cost estimates that Terry gave me. They were through and careful about cleaning up and meeting my expectations. I would definitely have them return to handle other jobs. It was a very good experience.

Terry arrived a few days after my initial contact to evaluate the job and what would be needed for the repair. He quickly assessed the situation and we scheduled a mutually convenient time to replace the door. When the worker arrived, he had all the necessary materials, including a new doorknob and deadbolt (which I had failed to request)! The work took about two hours and was finished to perfection. Our exterior paint was ruined -- otherwise, he would have also painted the door and trim. If it's not done in a few months, I'll call them back to paint! Haha! Highly recommend these guys! Cheerful, prompt, and professional!

It was fine, the day of he called asking to arrive early which was fine with me. here maybe 2 or 3 hours working on it. both workers were very friendly and knowledgeable. I was worried about the cost initially the other quotes i got were almost double this.

First of all, a plumber would have charged me at least $250-$300 to do this job -- even though it was a job that takes the average qualified professional less than one hour to accomplish. I was so happy to find a friendly and efficient handyman to do this job. He arrived on time and did a great job of recalking around the sink as well. Would definitely hire again. I'm going back to their website to see what other services they offer.

They had a cancellation and called to see if they could come early. I knew we were off to a good start. We removed the door to the laundry room and needed the door jam replaced to show just an entry way. In the laundry room we had an area that was unused. We had a counter top installed and a clothes rack with shelf installed. The technician did an excellent job. This was the 3rd time we have used this company and will continue to do so. Thanks guys.

We definitely had some hiccups, that had nothing to do with their service, as the door we ordered on our own was broken. After they spent a few hours trying to install it, unaware that There was a broken piece, we had to reschedule and they did not charge us for the time spent that day. Then the following visit we purchased the incorrect size ladder so the worker actually drove out to the nearest Home Depot and purchased the correct one for us! Then there was another hiccup which required drywall work and restoring The attic floor (our home is old) and they repaired all of this at a very reasonable price. We were definitely not the easiest clients they have had, but we never felt like we were an inconvenience to them, and they were simply honest and helpful. Do call this company if you want professional, courteous, insightful service. I did not feel that they were out to nickel and dime us, which is honestly rare nowadays.

Terry came to our house for free to walk through and understand our list of work. He was amazing. He helped us prioritize our long, long list of jobs, gave us great ideas, and helped me make a shopping list at Home Depot so his team wouldn't have to shop. As a first time homeowner, it was great to have someone who knows what he's doing seem as excited as I am about our new home. Terry was very professional and efficient. We hired 2 guys, the rates were very reasonable, and they got an unbelievable amount of work accomplished in three days. One of the guys was particularly focused, dependable, and efficient. The other guy was a bit chattier, wasn't on time, and took several long runs to Home Depot through the process. The trips were necessary, but either we could have made those trips, leaving him to continue work, or he could have been a bit quicker. The weather turned bad the last day or so, so the team couldn't finish everything on our chimney, but they made it look good enough to wait till better weather. We are very pleased with all of the work they did, and they were great about cleaning up when they were done. We'll definitely have them back.

We had a shut off valve on the commode start leaking badly. My husband bought the parts to fix it but was unable to take the old valve off. This was the day after Christmas and in the evening. Terry said they could have someone here first thing in the morning. He arrived promptly and had us back to normal in a very short time. This was greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Lynn was FANTASTIC! She showed up early and worked diligently. She was incredibly nice and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company and will be using this company for any future services that we need.

Jeremy arrived promptly as scheduled and immediately began work taking out the old door and frame and installing the new door and frame. He completed the work in about an hour and 15 minutes. My new door now is "square", opens and shuts properly, and is more secure and better insulated than the old door was. Jeremy was polite, professional, skilled, and called to confirm my appointment as he was en route.

It went well, The technician was knowledgeable, polite and work quickly. I would call them again and plan to do so, for all jobs small and large.

They estimated it would take about an hour and a half but actually had everything done and more in 50 minutes. Very high quality work and Jeremy is actually very good at what he does. Very conscious of the fact that if he does a high quality job in the shortest possible time, customers are likely to invite them back in the future. Yes, i will do so!

All work was beautiful and very professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Jeremy was awesome and our grandkids fell in love with him! He discussed all the tasks to ensure that each was done as we desired. He took the time to explain various aspects of the tasks and was very conscientious of the cost.

We've used YH three times; twice with Anthony and once with Jeremy. Both couldn't have been nicer, more friendly and accommodating. Tackled every task with professionalism and speed.... made good suggestions and were always on time. Great crew!

Jeremy performed all the work we needed him to perform efficiently, with care and professionalism. Our list was long, and he worked quietly and quickly to get everything done, and he did a fantastic job. We would have had to call several different tradesmen to perform all he was capable of, so he saved us a lot of time and money by being so proficient. We already have him scheduled to come back to sand and stain some doors.

Terry Wilson and his worker (who did the drywall) were both professional and friendly. It was a pleasure to work with them.
