Description of Work: I wanted part of a backyard cleared of vegetation. Company said that they would send two men for three hours. They must have sent elves because three hours of work looked like they had used a weedeater around the edges of the growth. I think that three grown men, working hard would have accomplished more. I was left with the feeling that I didn't get my money's worth

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for 3 men for 1 hour of spring landscape cleanup.

Description of Work: Damaged 5 landscape lights, one light was torn out of the ground, and bent one of my patio tables. No acknowledgement of either. Left a 3.5ft. dead trunk sticking up out of the ground. Original job was to remove volunteer and dead plants. they cut my wood ferns down to the ground. Trimming of other bushes pretty severe, but they have survived.

After 2 phone calls to Wilson they set up an appointment to evaluate the yard and make recommendations. the guy was late for the appointment. the things he told me he would address in the recommendation were not what was done in recommendation.

Description of Work: Six days after purchasing the Big Deal coupon and 5 calls later, I still haven't been able to connect with the company. They did call me back once and I was in a meeting. They also responded to my email only after I threatened to request a refund. With the lack of attentiveness before the major service purchase, I can only imagine what it would be like after the fact. So, I would rather do business with a company that provides better customer service.

Description of Work: Vendor was obviously swamped during the busiest time of the year for his business. He regretted that he was unable to provide the cleanup services on a timely basis and understood that I needed to find another provider.

Description of Work: After contacting Wilson in April, a date was set for someone to come out on April 8th. Two men came out late in the afternoon and worked for under an hour. They were doing a great job but had to quit and promised to return the next day. Rain forced us to reschedule and after some unanswered calls I got a response to my email and the work was rescheduled for May 16. I was not surprised that no-one showed up after the bad storms on May 15, but I did expect some kind of communication about a new date. I have never received any kind of response to the emails I sent. It seems that the company is not interested in honoring the contract and finishing the work. Since they worked for less than an hour I am asking for a full refund at this point.

Description of Work: I first contacted the office by phone 14 Jan 2013 and was told a coordinator would call me back; when I called back 18 Jan 2013, I was again told that a coordinator would call. I did receive a voicemail that afternoon from TJ asking me to return his call. I left messages at the number provided on 18 Jan, 22 Jan and 23 Jan. When I called the office again 25 Jan, I was again told that someone would call. I finally made contact with TJ and we set up an appointment for 3 pm on 8 Feb. He did not show up as I was outside their usual service area and another appointment was made for 16 Feb. At that appointment, we discussed what I had in mind [dry creek bed, shade garden, berms, expanding limestone patio and edging]and measurements were taken. TJ indicated that he would e-mail me a landscape plan. After 2 reminder e-mails, I did receive a plan 10 Apr that did not show any details of the dry creek bed, provided no timelines or costs and included several plants that I said I definitely did not want. I e-mailed questions, comments and suggested modifications back on 3 occasions and have yet to receive any response. I've completely lost confidence that Wilson Landscape would be able to execute what would have been a fairly substantial project. At the least, I would like my $1499 returned.

Description of Work: I applied for the Landscape Assessment deal, and immediately received the paperwork electronically. The process is great! I called the landscaper to schedule the assessment. A short time later I received an email notice I was out of their service area. I called the landscaper back to find out what I should do and he was SO nice - he apologized and said he could refer me to someone else who was very good and I was in their service area. I was disappointed of course, but I have to say I am so impressed with the Angies List process, and with how nice that gentleman was and his willingness to held me find the service I was looking for. Everyone gets an A+ from me. [But I would still like a refund :)]

When we finally spoke, he said that our area was a little bit out of his area this time of year. They are in Lewisville & we are in Aubrey and it was listed as their area. I can understand business-wise, as we are 20 year business owners, but it need not be offered as a "deal" if they cannot come through with service. Both of the "deals" we purchased ended up like this. So we will not be taking advantage of those again. Unfortunately, we have paid for Angie's List service for almost a year and these were the first experiences we have had, so we are lease than pleased with our experience with Angie's List.

Description of Work: Wilson Landscape Design made an appointment with me to do a landscape design for my home. They did not show up at the agreed time. After I called they sent a representative out and he said they would send me a plan and discuss it with me at a later date. I waited a few weeks and called about the design plan. When I talked to a person they did not appear to be aware of my design. When I indicated that I was not happy with their response, I was told that someone would send me a plan in the near future. When I received the plan through an email it was very basic and did not appear to be well thought out. After I received the design I felt like an advisor and did not call to find why they had recommended this design and the plants for the yard.
