Description of Work: DJ called me once and did not return my phone calls thereafter. It's been two (2) weeks.

Description of Work: So much time has passed from the date of service over a year ago, and I was so unhappy at the time, that I just prefer to let it go. I felt like I had to be outside with them the whole time to make sure I got what I asked for. There was a breakdown in communications - certain information did not get passed on to the supervisor ( I witnessed this! ), then obviously the supervisor related even less to his workers in Spanish. I speak Spanish, but never let on that I do, because that way I can know what is actually being said. They brought about half the amount of mulch that was needed. The Chinese pistachio tree had to be re-anchored by another person (my yard guy! ...who did it for free!!) too many details to mention -- maybe they were having a bad week.

Description of Work: Measured and provided a schematic for my front lawn. It was much too busy and was delivered to me electronically in an 11 X 17 format which I cannot print. I am guessing at the date of service.

Description of Work: I had purchased one of their "Big Deals: in 2013 for a landscape consult and design. It took me forever to contact them. they finally came out and then I never heard from them. I had to keep calling them to get the design and when I did (finally), it was in pencil, looked like a very rushed job. I never heard back from them as a follow up. I will NEVER use this company.

Description of Work: I had planned to to landscape my backyard and have a cover of some sort built for my patio. Wilson can out and took measurements of my yard and asked what I had in mind for the patio cover. A few days later I received an email and attachment that contained a well thought out design for the landscaping, along with pricing for the plants, materials and labor related to the landscaping. Nothing related to the patio cover was included and I initially thought this was just an oversight. I contacted Wilson by phone and email to point this out and was told I would be receiving the plans for the patio and the associated costs within a few days. Needless to say I have not heard from the company since then. I got the feeling that my location was a bit far from where they normally do business and perhaps that is the reason for the poor response. I was prepared to spend as much as 20k for the landscaping and patio cover so the size of the job should have been enough to at least keep their interest but I guess I was mistaken. I did not attempt to contact them again since I feel the responsibility for followup lay with the business and not the customer.

Description of Work: The rep showed up promptly for the property walk and was knowledgeable and professional. He said it would take a couple of weeks to draw up designs. I began contacting Wilson's by email and phone after about 1 month of waiting. I would get polite responses like, "We're looking into it," or "I'll pass that message along." Finally, the owner intervened, but in the end, I didn't get the promised plans until 2 and a half months after the property walk. The plans were very well-done in my opinion, but estimates on 2 projects we discussed at length were not included. Based on this experience, I would not use this company again. Too bad, because I liked the knowledgable rep that did the property walk with me and the politeness of the people I worked with by phone and email... when they would get back in touch with me.

Description of Work: Poorly. Difficulty scheduling. No show. Upcharged.

Description of Work: Five young men arrived promptly to begin work on the list I provided. They did not bring their chain saw knowing that I wanted large limbs cut. One man drove the truck and trailer back to retrieve the chain saw. The remainder continued their work. They did a good job of trimming trees and shrubs and planting replacement shrubs. The only negative was that not all of the small limbs, cut from Crepe Myrtles, were left on the ground. Overall a good job.

Description of Work: They clean up my backyard nicely although they only have 2 people shown up instead of 3 but they did the same amount of man hours (1.5) instead of one hour.
