Description of Work: They removed the 4 old mercury vapor Lights in our front yard trees and replaced them with 6 LED lights and wiring/junction box. Their pricing was 40% below competitors and they were professional and courteous in all aspects of the job.

Description of Work: I can't remember the actual date that I bought a deal for an evaluation of the front of my house after we fixed the foundation. This guy was prompt to call and to respond to my request, so I give him good marks for that. However the drawings were not sent to me for more than 2 weeks, and they looked as though he dashed them off by hand on a piece of graph paper, the plants he proposed to use were listed at the side but there was no explanation of the plants, and the price was very high. We had discussed that I wanted a basic design to start with and could be done in stages, but there were no suggestions for that option. I did not respond to his offer, as I thought it was not professional, and did not include many of the elements that we had discussed. They never followed up with me to see if I had any questions, or if I liked their offer.

Description of Work: They can not do the yard cleanup on Friday or Saturday or Sunday- which is when I would be home to have it done, also after contacting them they want more money just to haul the leaves away - that is what fall cleanup is, i thought would be included.

They had trouble drawing up what we asked for and it seemed like they were getting frustrated but in the end we hashed it all out. | |The work crew was prompt and the results look excellent; they even informed me of a dead sprinkler zone (before they started) and filled in a bunch of low spots with the turf they removed. I only wish they hadn't put the dirt they removed directly on the lawn around it leaving the lawn with a lot of dirt spread around.

Description of Work: Did a layout plan and priced it out at $3999 for the total job. The job I purchased was a $2999 job for $899 that I have already paid. I am replacing my windows so the job is on hold. I'm not sure where we stand. I have not been back in touch with them.

Description of Work: We paid for a landscape redesign of the pool area and front yard. A Wilson representative came out, took measurements and was given our input as to what we were expecting. Wilson promised plans within 10 days. Three weeks passed and nothing was given to us. Through a number of phone calls and e-mails by us, plans were eventually received. They were not to scale and poorly done on graph paper. Talked to Mr Wilson himself about the plans looking nothing like what was requested. He redrew them, still not to scale, showing a 10 foot hammock in a 3 by 5 foot space. Plans were totally unusable. I would recommend that you stay as far away from this company as possible.

Description of Work: I bought the Angies List coupon for $899 to put in a garden. They created a shade garden under the trees in my front lawn that never grows grass. They did a very professional job and the garden looks great. They did a really professional job of trimming the tress and existing bushes and then added plants and a small rock area for a garden bench. The only problem I had was that it took a really long time to get an estimate for the extra work. Then I had an install date that he gave me over the phone, but he must have forgotten to write it down because they did not show up when I expected them. So I had to wait a couple more weeks to reschedule. All in all, since I wasn't in a great hurry, they did a really nice job for a really good price. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Juan & Oma great guys. They arrived & were eager & so polite to do backyard cleaning. Removed all debris/leaves & weeds, cleared garden of weeds, helped remove a compost heap and removed all contents & moved lawn. They also blowed all the leaves & debris by the garage. It was a great experience. DJ (Manager) was a very reasonable guy. I appreciated them all so much!

Description of Work: Came out and assessed the property for a landscape plan. Then took many weeks to actually send the plan. They avoided my phone calls and texts. Finally did send the plan via email but the price to update my landscape was ridiculously high. I wouldnt have used them anyway because of the unreliability of getting the plan. Overall I had a very unpleasant experience with Wilson Landscaping and would NOT recommend them.

Description of Work: He came out to do a landscape design for the backyard. He cancelled a number of times and did not respond to rescheduling requests appropriately. When he did come out, he seemed nice. His design was very basic and no better than what we came up with ourselves. He failed to follow-up on our questions. We bought the Angie's list deal and he mentioned he was overwhelmed by the response and was too busy.

Description of Work: Wilson Landscape cleared the existing landscaping in our front flower beds. They were a little confused when they got to the house as far as what they were supposed to be doing, but they did a great job and would use them again.

Description of Work: Installed "French drain" |Purchased big deal for a full week of project planning. Got 1 man for 30 minutes to 'design'. We discussed tree removal, a French drain, and the need for landscaping in my back yard. No designs followed, and no contact for 1 month (I had not been given a time window), then I sent an email and magically they were planning to coming the next day. The drain was not discussed with me, but I said I needed something to stop leaves and mud from going into a drain that was located at the end of a driveway at the back of my house (not visible from the front of the house). They cut a trench in the concrete and put stones in it. They did supposedly flush the drain pipe all the way to the end (this was not discussed, but I was grateful they did it) and cleared it. I was under the impression that a French drain was like a grate, but I thought "They're the professionals, they know what they are doing" and that my problem would be solved. No more contact until the invoice came, which I paid. Still no "designs". No more contact for a month (I had left messages after paying the invoices), and they asked me if I was still interested in the tree removal. I responded that due to a lack of communication, I hired another company. No response to this. I'm not sure if the prices were competitive, but $1750 seems like a lot for a drain, which clogged after the first leaf fall with a rain. I am now having to have it redone with a grate, because stuff gets in between the stones and they have to be scooped out to clean the trench out, which is actually more difficult to upkeep than before.
