David came out did his measurements to confirm how much we should be ordering for the job and said he would provide a cost in a day or two. I revived the estimate and agreed to have him do the job. He provided a date for the install to take place and who would contact me to complete the work. Thor sent a text said he would arrive prior to 8:00 AM. on Monday 3.18.19 I asked if he could call when he was 10 minutes out and i would meet him at the property. On Monday we met and he looked at what he was to do and went right to work. I came back a few hours later and he was working away on the project and explained how he was going to cover the paper in the formal dinning room. When I cam back late that night all of the walls were ready to have the paper installed. On Tuesday he arrived very early and wet right to work when i came by that night the formal had been completed and his attention to detail was showing. On Wednesday he arrived early once more and i stopped by mid morning and he was already working on the Powder Bath and assured me once more that the dark walls would cover just fine and would never need to worry about paper separation on the seams. He was right as when i inspected the that night it covered the room with no sight of the dark blue walls. (we had had them painted thinking we would have a different paper installed only to find it was no longer available. Thor and The Wallpaper Doctor are the way to go on all wallpaper needs.

David arrived on time and got busy. I spent a fortune on Schumacher paper and was nervous about the installation. There was no need for nervousness, as David is a pro. The job turned out beautifully. I am so happy with the result. The paper is matched perfectly and looks amazing. I feel his cost is very reasonable.

Well, I wish you could see it! The bathroom is really beautiful. The wallpaper is perfect. David smoothed out the walls after removal of the old paper so the new wallpaper is absolutely perfect. My house is almost 30 years old and I was skeptical about painting the ceilings especially after replacing my tub, shower and counter tops. But, David did that without one drop of paint on our new tub or shower. Actually, when David left our house, he cleaned all of the old paper up and we walked into a spotless bathroom. His painting was great, no paint on the ceiling or floor. He did a fantastic job at our house. He did exactly what he said he would do. He come on time on the date he scheduled our work to be done. He also left our house spotless. No trace of all that old paper that was on the walls! My husband and I both liked him for his integrity and great work. He did exactly what we requested him to do in a way we feel is fantastic. His price was excellent. We recommend the Wallpaper Doctor to anyone looking for a good painter or wallpaper installer. His professionalism is above reproach. We will hire him again.

Our firm has used David Hatfield for years now. He is Honest. Dependable and Trustworthy................We are a Property Management firm that has contractors contacting us on a daily basis wanting to bid work for us. There is a reason we use David. We were very pleased with David's work. He shows up on time and is good at estimating how long the job will take. In our case, we had a hallway wallpapered. He said it would take a half day to prepare the walls and another half day to wallpaper. And that's what it took. There were some narrow places between the moldings and the corners, but David was able to wallpaper those places, too. The hall is beautiful. He turned a mundane area into a showplace. It's so pretty, we've delayed hanging the pictures back on the wall. We're already planning on using him again.

A wonderful experience dealing with a true professional! He really is a pro who arrived on time--actually a few minutes early-- and never stopped working. His work is perfection and completed right on time. I would recommend David without reservation! I chose David because of the great reviews on Angie's List and am happy to add my own glowing review. By the way, his bid was competitive and his guidance on how much wallpaper to order was right on target.

His estimate is not conclusive - we follow his short directions and run out of paper causing time delay and extra expense for us. He needs to inspect walls better at estimate time because he starts job and is not happy with walls, causing more time delay and he is frustrated. He does not communicate well: forgetful, scattered with schedule, and rather gruff on phone. A better estimate on his part, inspecting and measuring better could have avoided problems and extra expense, time delays etc. After 7 visits we are done, paper is up but seams do not match in half bath but he blames the paper I picked out

Perfect, the provider worked hard and completed wallpaper removal and reprinted the room on time. Was especially diddicult job due to wrong glue uses to hang paper

After getting quotes from four sources we chose Dave at Wallpaper Doctor. He has kept in contact with us, arrives on time, and is not a messy person. He does not stop working. I was impressed on our first meeting when he told me how I messed up my attempt to remove wallpaper. He is actually the one doing the work and not a subcontracted person, so I feel secure that the job will done right. I am sorry that whoever did the wallpaper the first time, did not do it correctly as the job would go a little easier.

I contacted him for and estimate with the measurment and he told me how much it would cost. W set up a date when he could come to hang the wallpaper. He kept the appointment and was on time.

The wallpaper doctor did a great job repairing the wallpaper in our bathroom after a water leak. I would use him again and would highly recommend him. He arrived on time and did the job in the time he had estimated.

David arrived promptly on time and completed the work quickly and to a very high standard. He removed the old wallpaper first, then smoothed over the rough spots on the wall and dried the filler before hanging the new paper. The results are fantastic and I'm very pleased. Nothing more to say really; if you need someone to hang wallpaper for you, I recommend David!

Our house had alot of stress cracks some of them quite large. He repaired those and re-textured and painted matching the texture and paint perfectly with the rest of the house. We had him put in a new light fixture in the bathroom. We called him again a month later as we liked his service and he was very nice to work with. He built us a custom cabinet with a wine fridge for our kitchen and stained it to match the rest of the cabinets. He's very good with wood!
