Alan brought his crew out at the scheduled time , reviewed the worked to be done , and instructed the crew as to what is to be done. He checked the work several times during the day and made sure the work and clean up was done to his and mine satisfaction. We have used Alan Zeigler several times over the years and have never had a complaint about his work and have recommended him many times.

I thought they were very responsive. The owner came out to give me an estimate. He was very professional, likeable and knowledgeable. He gave a reasonable price. The workers came yesterday to do the work. They were quick, efficient and cleaned up well. We were very satisfied with them. We will definately use them again. They provide a good, quality service for a reasonable price.

They were great...he went out of this way to make sure he got the right color. This was my third time using The Paint Company.

This is our third house Allen has painted. He has also done interior work. Always trustworthy, efficient, friendly and good workmanship. We have used his services since 1997. And will use again.

We had heard very good things about this contractor, and their advertisement states and quot;Quality work for a fair price.and quot; However, they exaggerated the size of the work in the estimate stating, and quot;you are asking us to paint 10,000 square feet of interior in your home . . .and quot; (referring to the fact that our insurance required three coats of paint due to smoke damage - one seal and two base coats). This was quite the exaggeration as the painting required did not entail painting the walls or ceiling in two of the largest bedrooms, nor did it require the painting of the wall in the largest room - the family room - only the ceiling. Their bid to do the work was a whopping $17,000, which was a full $5,000 more than the next closest of three other bids for the same amount of work . . . 'Fair price' does not seem to adequately describe this quote. And no formal measurements of the actual areas to be painted were ever taken. The contractor also refused to look at the insurance estimate which detailed the precise sizes of the areas to be painted. I have learned what others should take note of when dealing with 'free estimates' from contractors. When they pull up to your home, note the type of car they are driving. If they arrive in a brand new sports, limited edition raced-out TRUCK with expensive mag wheels, you really should either simply not answer the door, or open the door and ask them how many miles per gallon their new truck gets . . . as your quote will factor in their need to pay for that brand new limited edition TRUCK/gas guzzler that gets 8 - 10 mpg. And this was not the only contractor that showed up with a new race truck with high-priced expectations to boot. Buyer beware
