Bob arrived on-time and is very knowledgeable in what he does. He is very professional and takes the time to answer any questions and educate you on the process or anything dealing with resurfacing. I'm very impressed with the finished quality. At first I wasn't sure what to expect since they were cultured marble counter-tops that were installed back in 1986, that IMO looked heinous. After the resurface, literally night and day where several people thought I had replaced the counter-tops. His price is very reasonable and I would definitely use him again.

An experienced tradesman with a no nonense approach, I appreciated Bob's knowledge of the refinishing process. Of all the quotes I received his was the most competitive. I was pleasantly surprised when Bob arrived 15 minutes early as it's not typical in the service industry for individuals to be on time; let alone early. That said, he was too early as I work from home and had planned for his arrival at a specific time. As a result, it caused a disruption to a conference call I was hosting. Nonetheless, all went as he described with the finished product a good one. He left the job by making himself available to answer any questions post work. I was expecting a new drain cover, though, in addition to the refinish as we discussed it during the quote phase. This, as Bob stated it would be preferrable to replace it at the same time given I would have a new looking tub. It was not replaced. The old drain cover does, in fact, look worn and now it stands out in a newly refinished tub. One call out: the coupon offered on this site should have a disclaimer included indicating that its redemption is limited. Specifically, I discovered the coupon on line after the work was complete. When I presented it to Bob at the time of payment he indicated he'd already taken $50 off the price for the skid resistant surface he put in the tub. While he did say he would 'throw in' the skid resistant surface at no cost when he provided me a phone quote, there was never mention made by him that the on line coupon could not be redeemed given this scenario. That was disappointing.

Bob was very knowledgeable and offered a great value. He saved us from needing another sub by doing the tile repairs which was a big help. He was a little late on the first visit and doing the tile repair but all in all it worked out very nicely.

I called Superior and spoke to Bob. He gave me a quote on the phone after asking questions about the condition of the bathtub. He arrived on time and was prepared to work. He gave a $25 discount for Angie's list. He finished when he predicted he would and the overall experience was very positive.

Excellent experience; honest, hardworking owner who cares about the job he does. Quite willing to explain about the process and how to properly protect your investment. Only complaint is based upon the fact the bathroom had no vent fan...the odor was quite strong throughout the house for several hours due to the lack of a bathroom vent and our inability to open windows and doors due to pets. Not the company's fault, but you need to be aware.

They seemed to have done a good job, and they made it look like new. The tub was molded into the wall, not fiberglass. The bottom of the tub was worn, so we could see the metal. The price was reasonable. The quality of work was good.

Bob arrived on time for both the quote and for the job. He was easy to work with and performed the job as described for a good price. I highly recommend him and his service.

In addition to the services above, I also expected a 5-year warranty. I called the four top-rated refinishers I found in my area - Sharp, Durafinish,Park Cities, and Superior Finish. Of the four. Sharp wanted to charge to finish the job (clean-up, caulk the tub), wanted to charge 30% more ($584), would only give me a 3-year warranty, and I would have waited two more weeks for them to come out. Durafinish neither answered the phone nor returned my voice mail. Park Cities offered the same things as Bob, but they charged $50 more and I would have to wait another week for them to come out. So, provided everything at a lower cost and quicker. For me, it was a no-brainer to pick Bob. But did I get what I paid for? I don't really know what is a good price, but I know Bob did a great job. Also, Bob maintained good communication about when he would arrive and how long the work would take. He was proactive about updating me when his schedule changed slightly (30 min.) which was a nice touch. I can't think of any complaints. He did great work and I would happily hire him again or recommend him to others.

I contracted Bob to re-finish a bathroom sink and tub. He showed up on time and went to work cleaning up the tub to prep for the finish. Once he had it cleaned up, he told me that it really didn't need to be re-finished. He would do it but thought it was good for another 6-8 years. Instead, he caulked and cleaned and replaced the drain. He even drove me to the local Home Depot to get the parts. Next, he worked on the bathroom sink. After he cleaned it he suggested that it might be okay as well. Because this is a guest bathroom, I decided to go ahead and have him re-finish it. The bath doesn't get much use but guests will see the sink. The sink looks like new and the tub looks better than I've ever seen it. He used lacquer thinner to clean the tub - he said it cuts right through all of the old soap scum. I'll have to remember that. He even reattached a corner tile that has been off for a long time. When he was finished, the bathroom looked great. Bob is a good guy and I highly recommend him. The sink re-finish was $75 and he charged me another $75 to clean and caulk the tub and replace the drain. I thought it was a good value. Be prepared to provide plenty of ventilation - the fumes smell like a nail salon but much stronger.

(09/2010) had some problem where it had broken loose, called Bob the owner,explained the deal . he came out the next morning took a look and said ok, I'll take care of it and proceeded to totally redo the tub . worked all day and came back today to put the fittings back on and recaulk around the tub.couldn't have been more professional and honest in his business practices. highly recommend him and his company for this type of service..keep up the good work

Bob was punctual and very professional in completing his job. He brought all materials and was careful in taping off everything so that his resurfacing process would not harm anything else in the bathroom. He described the "nail salon" odor that comes with the processing and used fans and opening windows to best vent out the smell as best as possible. Our sinks and tubs look fantastic. He suggested using a good car wax on the surfaces to keep them protected and easier to keep clean. Without the greater expense of replacing these items they now look shiny and new. We are pleased with the work he did for us and he also warranties his work for five years. This man is a genius with chemicals and knows his craft. If you don't want to incur the higher cost of replacement of sink tops this is definitely the route to take. Our original cultured marble tops were a solid white surface. When he resurfaced them he suggested putting a speckled flake on them so that you wouldn't see every mark on the surface. We weren't sure if that would look good but we trusted his suggestion and we were very pleased with the outcome. He was prompt, fair, knowledgable, and professional. I would recommend him to anyone.

Another company on Angie's List recommend them. These guys did a fine job and we are satisfied with the small repair job on the bathtub. They were prompt, professional, and courteous. We would use them again if needed.

No problems at all. He communicated by phone, arrived on the appointed morning, papered and taped both bathrooms and sprayed the finish the first day, returned the second day to clean up, reinstall hardware and caulk. Both tubs look brand new.

Bob was very quick to respond to my call. Came out the next day to start work and was finished in 2 days. Arrived when he said he would. Price was very competitive and he even came back the next day to remove masking, and reinstall drain/valve hardware.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Bob arrived on time, started the prep work, advised that I didn't NEED to refinish the tile (saved me $250) and completed the job in the amount of time he said he would. Bob returned the next day to remove the paper, re-install the fittings we replaced anf caulk. I would most definitely recommend him, and have passed his name out to a few neighbors who might be interested in refinishing a tub.

Very happy with his advice and honesty. He's been doing this for 19 years, so I would imagine he's good at what he does. He also said he refinishes cabinets and counters.

Bobby was great! He responded to my initial phone call within a few hours of leaving him a message. He came out the next day and arrived a few minutes early. He was very pleasant and not at all condescending. I felt like he was very honest -- telling me that the cracks I was seeing were cosmetic and had not caused any damage. I had initially only called him out to fix the tub cracks and he had given me an estimate of $100 over the phone. When he saw the cracks he charged me much less to do the repair (I think $45?) and then happily agreed to tend to the rust stains and chipped porcelain in the other tubs. He cleaned up the minor scratches on the kid's tub, left no mess, and even left me with half a bottle of cleaner to use on the faint rust shadows that remained.

It went very smoothly and much quicker than I expected.

They gave us an accurate quote over the phone "Our" bathroom looks brand new.
