Southern Painting Coppell/Flower Mound

I would hire Southern Painting again in a heartbeat! The entire process was stress-free from start to finish. It did take about two weeks to get on their schedule for an estimate, but IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! Professional, clean, and excellent results. I couldn't be happier with them! Highly recommend!

Southern painting did an awesome job in our house. We had the whole interior of the house painted and popcorn ceiling removed. It was a great experience and workmanship was awesome. Leo, the owner, provided us with a very competitive bid and the work was completed in short time and with a high quality of work. We had the whole house renovated and were under a lot of stress but Leo was very accommodating and very understanding of our situation. It was an excellent experience. There were no delays and the work was completed on or before time.

Leo was absolutely great to work with. Very professional. Anna and her team were punctual and were able to complete the project in a timely manner despite the rain. Would hire again for any painting needs! Thank you Leo!

Good job & done in one day. Came back about a week later to make a minor repair

This job was a challenge for Southern Paint due to the fact that I requested an exact match of my prior paint color. The original brand of paint, Monarch, had been bought out by PPG. Mr Langford extended great effort to get a match but was misled by an uninformed PPG employee. That employee told Mr. Langford the formulation did not exist in their system. So a color was tried that did not match the requested original color. It was close, but off by 2 or 3 shades and not acceptable. At this point, I took it upon myself to call PPG directly and discovered during that call that the formulation WAS available and that the employee working with Mr Langford had made an error. Bottom line, I had the wrong color on my house even though the right one was available. After some discussion with Mr Langford, he understood the value of satisfying the customer and repainted my house the correct color at no further expense to me. PPG was supposed to step up and own some the that repaint cost but to my knowledge they have not done so. That's a shame as Southern Paint was not responsible for the color error. Through the process, I learned that Southern is a highly reputable company and that Mr Langford is an honorable person.

Great! I will definitely call Southern Painting for future painting needs. They could teach other businesses on how to treat their customers. Very professional! Leo was great in listening to our needs and his crew worked hard and also addressed our needs.

Company was very responsive to my scheduling needs. We needed to delay completion of trim work until new flooring was installed. Initial (first visit) work was very good. Walls, doors and upper trim were prepped (repaired as necessary) and painted as discussed. The crew cleaned up after themselves. The second visit was again punctual, but the workmanship was not as good as the initial visit. The painting of the mower moldings left streaks and paint bubbles in numerous places. Because of time constraints, I did not ask the contractor to come back to correct this. The price was competitive with other bids and I feel very fair for the work done. There was some confusion over the initial credit card charge (I was billed for the complete price instead of the 50% deposit), but the company eventually straightened it out.

Great crew, did a great job. Impressed with detail effort on trim. Cleanup done 100%, no issues.

They were very prompt and very quick. They did the estimate and they were ready to start. They were kind of hard to have around. The guys fought a lot amongst themselves. I mean fought, yelled at each other. They could've improved their professionalism. I thought their price was a little high.

Went very well, on time and with dedication. Very detail oriented.

Leo Lankford of Southern Painting is always punctual and professional in providing estimates and information regarding projects. I love how the estimates are itemized to tailor to my budget and needs. The crews have always been professional and they work extremely quickly while maintaining perfection in their painting skills. We have had our home painted outside as well as inside using Southern Painting. Both times we have been extremely satisfied. I typically receive several quotes for contractors and even though there are less expensive painters in the area, I know with Southern Painting I will be truly satisfied and receive an A+ job. You definitely do get what you pay for and in this case, it's worth every dime!

Getting an estimate and setting a date for the work to be done was easy. Customer service is outstanding. The crew applied the paint with a sprayer and in a few hours made our fence look like new. Cleanup was very thorough.

Southern Painting did a great job and I do recommend them, plus use them going forward. Here's why, I use another big painting company last year for the same area plus two rooms. This other company had to come out twice to fix the mistakes, plus they did not clean up after themselves. I did... Mr. Lankford from Southern Painting came to my house and was very professional and knowledgeable. He set the expectation of how the job was going to be done and everything that he said would happen, happened. His painter was very courteous and friendly. He went over what he was going to do to make sure we were on the same page and began to work. About 40 minutes later he was done and asked me what I thought of his work, He did a great job and I didn't have to clean up have him. If you want someone to paint for you. We were extremely impressed with the thoroughness, punctuality, professionalism and neatness by the Southern Painting crew. From the initial meeting with Mr. Whipple through to the final inspection by Mr. Lankford IV and Mr. Lopez, what could have been a scary nightmare was instead a dream. Thank you to Southern Painting...we have no hesitation in calling them back when it's time to paint the outside and the two rooms we didn't do this time around.

Southern Painting was recommended to us by our high end and well known interior designer we used for our project. I am really glad Shavawn recommended Southern. We received 3 bids for the project, and Southern was in the middle but the thoroughness of both their approach and the detailed nature of the bid made me feel comfortable that there was be no surprise change orders or additions down the road. The bidding process took close to two hours for example. At first, I was frustrated on why it was taking so long compared to the wham bam bids of the other two painting companies; but after the work started I saw that everything was so professionally organized that we didnt have to worry that the painting crew was going to mess something up or we had to be watching over them to get the results we wanted. We have remodeled basically every room in this 14 year old house to some degree, and used several general contractors. I can tell you emphatically I don't think I have ever seen and of the trade work handled so professionally and thorough as Robert and his team (led by Mr. Campos). Our project was six days long, and Robert and the manager over the project were both so thorough in telling us what we needed to do to get prepared, checking in multiple times per day, so accommodating to our busy schedules - trust me when I tell you that I have high expectations and am hard to please. The end results are fantastic. When we did a punchout walk through a week later, there were several items that most painting companies would have said "that is the best we can do", but Southern fixed every one.

I have used Southern on 4 different occasions and must say that every time has been superb. They painted my exterior, my pergola, the interior and most recently did texture and paint in my main powder room and kids bathroom. There is no better company!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I am looking for a reason to use them again soon.

My wife and I used Southern Painting to have our office and dining room painted. They not only did a fantastic job but also corrected flaws left from a previous paint job done by another company. The paint crew was prompt, explained everything they would do, and cleaned up when they finished. The owner , Robert Whipple; the manager Leo Lankford IV, and the lead painter, Diego were all a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Southern Painting.

Ron Carson with Southern Painting was very easy to work with. He provided great advice on colors and we're very happy with the results.

The Southern Painting exterior manager and I did a walk around and I pointed out all areas I thought needed extra work and he explained how and why those areas would be painted and/or repaired. He made recomendations (such as replacing some of the rotten wood with Hardie Board). He explained how and where the taping and masking would take place, which areas would be spray painted and which areas would be hand painted. We had 4 exterior doors and all downspouts to be hand painted. He explained the order in which the job would take place. They set aside 3 days to complete the job. He then worked up an estimate and gave me four options. I chose one full coat of primer and one full coat of the top of the line Sherwin Williams exterior paint. The workers showed up at 8:30 each day and worked until 5pm. They worked hard and cleaned up at the end of each day. They took a great deal of care as they worked. The exterior manager checked in every day and was available via phone when not on site. As they worked, if they found something that needed repair, they just fixed it and moved on. After they finished, we did another walk around and I inspected everything. I found nothing they missed and I found nothing to complain about. A FIRST CLASS JOB!

A nice experience from the get-go. The estimate process was thorough and Jon Box, the 'boss', spent a lot of time hearing about what I wanted done, when. We decided on a start date and a crew showed up on time, ready to go. They did an excellent job of wrapping appliances and 'non-paint' areas and protecting my Pergo floors from paint and fixative, etc. Big relief! The job went smoothly and quickly because they sent a good-sized crew. For the amount of dust the ceiling scraping entailed, I think they did a very good job of containing the mess. Jon did a walk-through the following day and arranged for one of the crew members to come back and do some minor touch-ups here and there. I was very pleased with the job they did. What I thought would take three days took about a day and a half. Nice. I have hired Southern Painting to do another, even bigger job for me the end of the this month -- repainting my living and dining rooms and scraping the popcorn texture off the ceilings in those rooms, too.

They painted the "tall" front gables. soffit,fascia on the front and back of the house. They were very good, clean and had the work done in one day. We were delighted
