My experience with RS Foundations is they are extremely unprofessional and poorly managed. I had an appointment for a large foundation repair estimate on 9/21/2015. As I am 90 minutes round trip from the subject property, I followed up that morning to confirm the scheduled meeting. I was assured a contact from RS Foundations would be at the home. Stuck in accident traffic, while driving to the property, I contacted the company at 11:57 to let them know I would be a couple minutes late. My appointment was at 12:00. I pulled into the home's driveway at 12:02. A moment later I received a call from RS Foundations indicating they would not be present for the appointment. To make matters worse, had I not just reached out to the firm, I suspect no one would have even bothered to let me know the situation, and I would have been left waiting for them to show up... Treating potential customers like they are an inconvience is generally a reflection of a company's business practices. I strongly suggest avoiding RS Foundations.

Scheduling initial inspection and the job were very easy with Michelle. Dane inspected crawl space and reviewed engineer's report Crew that did the work were prompt, friendly, and cleaned up. Happy with the results of work. Springy floors and one bathroom door closure issue resolved. Would use again.

Dane inspected the home thoroughly checking even under the back of my house for the possible need of support and found that possibly 3 pilings could be added but not necessary. But this was the second visit to my house by RS Foundation. I had called RS Foundation in March of 2013 to come help repair some work another foundation company had caused. The "other" company was instructed to add an addtional beam - but the were poorly supervised and removed the original beam and added a new beam. They even left wood on the ground under the house which is a major No No. Luckily RS Foundation came to my rescue. RS Foundation added 18 pads and blocks and reset the existing beam in the front of my house. They were very professional, kept me informed of the work as it occured, and were very clean. They made sure to warn me of possible wall cracks this could cause and there were some - but totally expected. One note that really impressed me; even after thier entire crew came through my house and down the hatch crawling under the house with pad and blocks - when they completed and packed up, there was no trace that this crew had been through the house. They left the property in very good shape. This crew worked very well together and Dane certainly knows his stuff. I would HIGHLY recommend this company for your foundation needs. They are fair, honest, and looking to make sure the customer has a good experience.

The 2nd 1/2 of the house was not supervised closely and they over-jacked the house, causing more than necessary damage to walls and plumbing. Ended up costing me another $2500 in plumbing repairs.

The quote was an excellent value in comparison to 2 other quotes. The work was scheduled and completed on time. Nine months later the foundation is still stable.

They were pleasant. I had closed a couple of doors because they had no reason to go in there, but they ended up opening the doors for some reason and everything got covered in dust. The salesman told me they would bring things to cover the furniture and that's why I didn't cover things up myself. But they didn't cover anything up. When they finished, my doors wouldn't close very well, so they were trying to adjust things so that my doors closed. I had gotten the doors replaced when the foundation had shifted, and he said that was the reason why they wouldn't close now that they fixed it. That night, my doors wouldn't lock at all. I had to get the person who had replaced my doors to come out a couple of days later to redo my door. He had to take it off and put it back. Even then, it didn't fit completely right. There's still some space there. My closet door is a sliding door and it doesn't close at the bottom. Everything was supposed to be brought back to the way they originally were and that didn't happen. They were supposed to come back and check on the foundation itself, to make sure it hasn't shifted, and they haven't done that. But I've also been back and forth, in and out of town, and I didn't call them back. They started when they said they would and they finished well. They were professional. I would recommend them, but I would tell people to watch out for things that I didn't know to watch out for. I would like to give more B-pluses, rather than B's, if the system allowed it.

I did a lot of research because I was very anxious about having foundation work done. I had heard all the horror stories and had neighbors who were dealing with bad foundation work and it was REALLY expensive. I joined Angie's list, got 6 different estimates, reviewed each company for complaints and resolutions through the BBB. I compared price, proposed repair solutions, reviews, complaints and years in the business. One company came out way ahead on my big spreadsheet and that was RS Foundation. The work was scheduled and I spoke with Michelle in their office several times getting their insurance certification, etc. I also spoke with Dane, their estimator, several times with questions about what was going to happen. On the scheduled day a crew showed up and began work. They were friendly and very efficient and kept me in the loop at each step, showing me their process and assuring me that the house wasn't going to fall in. Not long into the work all the power on the block went out. Of course, all the neighbors came out and saw the work at my house and came to let me know MY repair people had struck a line. It seemed unlikely since their work was performed directly beneath the foundation and they had the power / water / phone and cable lines marked and flagged the day before. They finished the repair and closed all the access holes in one day. They surveyed all the doors and cracks and most had closed up completely. They filled the cracks left in the mortar and made sure I was completely happy before they left. They warned me that if any dirt settled after the rainstorm the next day, to call them and they would come back out and bring fill dirt if necessary. We did have a few "sink holes" open after the storm and I called Michelle and Dane. We decided to wait to "fill" until after I had some under slab plumbing work completed (unrelated to the foundation repair). I ended up having enough dirt, but Michelle and Dane both have called to be sure that I didn't need anything else. RS Foundation offers a life time warranty on their work. They were by far the best on paper after my research and I have not regretted choosing them to do my foundation repair.

They came early than expected but that was great. Work was completed in one day which was wonderful. The only thing I didn't like was the cracks in my wall were worst than when they started. Of course per the company they are not held responsible for the new cracks. Now I have to hire someone else to fix the cracks.

The provided the estimate on a Thursday and performed the work on the following Wednesday. The used a crew of 18 guys and finished the work by 4pm. They replaced all of the plants they had to remove in order to complete the work. The gaps in the siding disappeard and they regrouted all of the cracks in the external brick and once dried, you cannot even tell they were there. They included, as a part of the estimate, a "free" plumbing inspection, but that has not happened yet. Given how smoothly my experience has gone thus far, I expect the inpsection to go well. I had four other foundation companies give estimates. RS was not only the most affordable by $10 per pier, but the key factor in my decision was timing. The earliest any of the other providers could do the work was 6 weeks out.

From start to finish - the work was done efficiently, timely and professionally. Will definite use again.
