Romney Pest Control

While dusting a door frame in my home, I was shocked to see part of the wood disappear before my eyes as my vacuum cleaner sucked up the paper thin outer layer to expose active termites that had hollowed out a sizable section underneath. I followed their trail to a nearby window sill where there was further damage. I called Romney and they sent a tech out the very next day to evaluate the situation. He discovered active termites in a small area where old wooden landscape edging was buried beneath a hedge. He inspected the entire home and found no other active infestation. At my request, he gave me an estimate for treating the whole house as well as the infected area. The quote for the partial treatment was $450. The quote for the full treatment was $2,000. We opted for the partial treatment and they were able to schedule the work within two days. There was no pressure to do more work than he thought was necessary at this time. The total cost, including tax, was $487.13. Both times, the tech was right on time. He was courteous and professional. He treated the interior areas with foam through the wall of an adjoining closet. He then treated the outside with Termidor. He even went above and beyond and pulled up the rotten edging and piled it up carefully so it could be discarded. Not only would I use Romney again, I would highly recommend them to others.

Romney is, I believe, the third pest control company we've tried. With the others we were perpetually dealing with flaky reps who never showed up and one who was even trying to get us to fire his company and just hire him to do it privately. Romney has none of that. They just come and give quality service and have always been where they said they would be when they said they would be there.

After moving into our newly built house, we had what felt like a million solicitors come to our front door. For some reason, I decided to spend more time talking to John from Romney Pest Control. He was very nice, knew his business and answered all of my questions. He wasn't pushy and allowed me to take the information and think it over. I sat down and compared about 5 different companies and in the end I selected Romney. We have been very happy with their service. Initially I was very concerned about how they would handle mud daubers since we have lots of them in our area and we have a very tall two story house. On each visit the tech uses a long brush and scrapes off their mud nests then sprays. They call you the day before to let you know they're coming and to see if you need the inside of the house and garage sprayed. They also spray the yard in addition to around the exterior of the house. We have been very pleased with their service. The price is good for everything they do.

Great service and bugs were all gone within a couple of days. The only issue I had was that they came 2 hours early.

We have not seen any ants since they treated our property. They seemed to be very professional and knowledgeable. I think they did a good job so we signed up for a quarterly service. They gave me an introductory offer that seemed pretty reasonable; it was similar to what I paid years ago.

We asked them to come treat our garage again due to some larger spiders still hanging out. Both of the servicemen who treated our house were very easy to talk with and courteous. We have appreciated the quality of their services so much that we will be contracting with them for the year.

I generally take care of my bug problems and have been doing so for the last 10 years at my home. When I was unable to solve our fire-ant problem I called Romney pest services. The fire-ants had infested the interior of our home and we were fed up with getting bit throughout the day, so we called Romney pest control. They were professional and did the service they claimed they would. After they completed their service the ant infestation was eradicated. It took a couple of sessions to completely get rid of them, but Romney pest explained that this is common among fire-ant infestations. They become active after they are sprayed and the 2nd spray tends to finish them off. Well, after our 2nd spray the ants were gone, just as promised. They also claim they will come back for a 'touch up' session for free if we wanted, but we haven't needed to take advantage of that service as of yet (knock on wood). They came when they were scheduled to come, and their prices are about average for your typical pest control in DFW. I recommend this company for their professionalism, timeliness, and honesty.

The experience with Romney Pest Control went very well. We were going to purchase a house, so I had them check for termites and so on. They did very good, though we didn't buy the house. They were very prompt. They were able to come out the next day, and the guy was very nice.

I have not found any bugs in my home. Their service is great. They are so reliable. They will absolutely do what they say will do. He was meticulous and so helpful. If I have anything bothering me, I will tell them and they fix it right away. It is working because

I used them for two years then a friend started up a company so I used them for a year then he closed his company so I had no hesitation going back to Romney because they are excellent.

I pay $80 for them to come every other month to service the house (exterior and interior) for pests. They are always on time and the technician is often the same one that has come before. They will come any time for free and are able to work around my schedule, calling in advance to let me know they are on the way if needed. They are great at checking all areas for signs of bugs and taking the necessary actions to eliminate/deter them. They will spray areas for wasps along our roof line as needed too. We've been using them for at least 4 years and are very happy with the service. They always call to remind me when service is due and have convenient times - even Saturdays.

They did a good job. One thing I like about it is that they also swept wasp nests from our ceiling and got rid of them. I really appreciated that. The price is very reasonable and affordable.

I use Romney's for 9 months and they are punctual and professional. My experience has been great, they pay close attention to detail, and overall provide better service than my previous pest control service.

it went well but the neighbor freaked out to see the trapped squirrel... she called rpc and us and the city and animal control... lol... I only gave a 'b' for responsiveness because of this.... but really it would be barely less than an A because I believe that they came as soon as they could.

My experience with them was great. We have been using them for a couple of years. We haven't been having pest problems. They show up and we have no hassle with the billing.

Romney Pest Control is pretty thorough. We tell them of the area that we are concerned with and they take care of it.

We were getting ready to move-in to our house and wanted to have our house sprayed before we moved in. We had some come by the weekend before and asked if need our house treated. I wanted them to spray before I got all of my stuff in the house and asked if they would come early the following Saturday and get it done before the Trucks got here. The next Saturday Jesus came first thing and sprayed the house inside and out. They also took Take of the big ant hills in the back for no extra charge.

We had some canned food storage out in our garage. One of the cans somehow had been punctured and was leaking. We started to clean it up and noticed mice droppings around the area. We called Romney Pest Control to come out and treat our home again for bugs and rodents. We were very pleased again when the technician arrived at the scheduled time. He treated in the garage for the rodents as well as helped educate us on what we needed to do to prevent the rodents from coming back.
