Description of Work: My wife and I used Molly Maids of Lewisville for several years but due to extensive remodeling work being executed in our home, we temporarily discontinued the service for about six months. I called Molly Maids in early March 2013 to schedule a Rep to visit the house to discuss resuming service. Chloe visited our home and quoted a price of $115.83 for 2-1/2 hours of cleaning with each extra hour at $75 for two cleaners. Supplies included. This cost was also represented to be the charge for bi-weekly cleaning going forward (as compared to $101.98 every two weeks for several years). And I might add that remodeling did NOT add square footage or new baths or such that would drive the cost up. The cleaning staff arrived on March 11, 2013 as agreed and proceeded to clean upstairs. The entire upstairs was cleaned in less than one hour. Upon moving downstairs to clean, the cleaning ladies seemed to be taking an extremely long time in the kitchen. And it was becoming obvious that they were going to extend well beyond the 2-1/2 hour "fixed cost" fee period and into an hourly reimbursable rate structure. I called Molly Maid and spoke with DeDe. I called to express concern over the apparent slowdown in cleaning and to clarify the cost structure that Chloe had quoted during the early March visit. After much confusion over what the cost should be, DeDe agreed that Chloe had quoted $115.83 for 2-1/2 hours and $75 per hour thereafter ( note: initially during the phone call DeDe stated that the cost would be $75 per hour from the very start). Subsequent to my call to Molly Maids office, someone from the office called and spoke to one f the maids on he cell phone. The cleaning then appeared to slow down even more. And then it became obvious to my wife and I that the cleaning staff was not planning to clean the Master Bedroom and Bath. I attempted to confirm this with one of the maids at the house but it was difficult at best due to language barrier. I then phoned the Molly Maid office again and spoke with both Chloe and later DeDe. After being Called by their home office, the maids finally went into the Master bed/bath to clean. At this point, I began to watch the maids very closely and after observing one cleaning lady seeming scrubbing inside a simple shower for 30 minutes, I had observed enough and phoned Molly Maids office to request that the maids cease service and leave my house immediately as we flt strongly that we were being taken advantage of. I spoke with Chloe and expressed displeasure and specifically directed her to call the maids and ask them to leave my home. After about 15 more minutes of waiting, I called Chloe yet again to ask if the maids had been reached and if so, why the delay. Chloe stated that she was having problems reaching their staff by cell phone. So I went to the maids to ask them to eave and to give me the key to our house. A this point I will surmise that the home office did reach the maids as they gathered their supplies/tools and left in a hurry. Such a hurry that they screeched the tires and left my neighborhood as if to be angry. My complaints? 1. it normally takes 1-1/2 to 2 hours for 2 people at Molly Maids to thoroughly clean our house and on March 11 two two staff were here 3 hours 40 minutes and still had not completed cleaning the house. It is obvious that the company attempted to "milk" our cleaning job by charging by the hour after the finished the 2-1/2 hour base fixed fee period. And nine windows (in remodeled rooms) did not have blinds to clean and our staircase (new wood, iron balusters, carpet etc) was still covered in plastic so I asked the maids to not lean the stairs. And three remodeled rooms had already been vacuumed and dusted so there was very little to clean in those areas. 2. I am very displeased over confusion between Chloe and DeDe regarding the pricing structure. 3. I am displeased that it took so long for Chloe to reach the staff by cell phone and ask them to leave the house. 4. Despite the fact that I treated everyone (home office and cleaning staff) with respect, the maids drove out of my driveway and neighborhood as if they had just robbed a bank. This is unacceptable. 5 one of the maids was on her dell phone several times (more than would be expected as a a result of my calls to the home office). And on one occasion the maid left the house and went to the car to talk. And of course there was the normal language barrier as she spoke only Spanish on the phone. Molly Maids attempted to charge me over $190 even though the house was not completely cleaned. I refused and agreed with DeDe to pay only $150. I will not use this office of Molly Maids again and do not recommend them either. Buyers Beware!!!

Description of Work: Had house cleaned for the holidays. The crew went over and above the service provided by most cleaning companies. I was pleasantly shocked. It appeared that they didn't cut any corners. Everything was thoroughly cleaned. I even used the white glove test.
