Master Fix Plumbing

Needed a water line replaced that goes from street to house. I contacted several plumbers and Erik was the most responsive and he got out there the quickest to take a look. Not only that but he was less than the other plumbers and he is a master plumber and does the work himself along with his helpers. He did a great job and charged me the price he quoted me. He showed up on time and they had dig up a good amount of yard but they put the grass back like it was and my tenant was impressed with how the yard looked once they were done. Would definitely recommend them! Found some plumbing companies are letting unlicensed assistants do their work as Texas recently passed a law that allows this but Erik is the master plumber and does the work himself.

Very unreliable. They were a no-show and did not have the professional courtesy to call us. We had waited all day for them and Eric repeatedly reassured us he would come out. Then, he stopped answering his phone. I must rate this company an 'Avoid'.

Contacted Erik in the morning and he showed up that afternoon and accessed the problem immediately. Replaced a leaking valve and replaced with the proper valve. The builder of home had utilized an improper valve that was not up to code. Erik was very punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. I will use Master Fix for any future plumbing issues.

Erik called me and offered his services. We agreed on a time and I took the morning off work to meet him. He missed his appointment time. I called him to ask for an update and he rescheduled for later that day. Again, he did not appear, and he did not call to explain why. When I called to ask - politely - for a new appointment time, he hung up the phone on me.

Answered the phone on a Sunday. Arrived at time promised. Fixed the issue quickly. Great, great service which is hard to get these days. Will definitely use Erik again.

Plumber and crew are first rate. On time, worked hard and efficiently. Erik is a good communicator and followed through on all agreements. Very positive experience with this plumber.

Eric responded quickly to call, provided estimated up front, and showed up with the requested water heater a few hours later. He and his assistant were very professional and used booties while inside the house as to not track dirt inside my home. They hauled the old water heater out, installed a new larger drain pan, then installed the new water heater. All connections looked clean, dry, overall appear to be well well done and then they cleaned up after themselves. They will be my first call next time I need a plumber.

My husband punctured a waterline on a Sunday. We discovered that there are very few plumbers who will work or return calls on a Sunday. Erik answered his telephone immediately. I described the problem and he said he could come that afternoon; he had 2 jobs already scheduled. We communicated several times during the day via telephone and text. He let us know when he was on his way and took the time to go over the water valve placements with my husband.

Erik does a great job - always on time, polite, tidy, and reasonably priced. His work is both efficient and good quality. He has been creative in finding solutions to keep costs down as well. He is very professional and I will use him again in the future as the need arises.

He did a great job for me. He is a really good guy and very thorough. He is busy and may get delayed. He is honest and hard working. He goes fast. He explained everything very well. He seemed to really know how to repair this with an eye for long term integrity of the system. He did an excellent job. His price was very good. He was half the price of another plumber. He explained how he was going to make it better. I was impressed. I will be using him from now on.

On the day they were to arrive I was asked to contact them to confirm my address which was puzzling since it was given to them earlier. When calling the company land line number to give them the address it was forwarded to the technician's or owner's cell phone. When answered he asked that I text the number to him and he hung up before I could ask for his cell number. I made numerous attempts to contact him again to get his cell number. Each time he answered and immediately hung up when I explained the reason for my call. Finally, I called the foundation company and they were able to get the address to Master Fix Plumbing. They also confirmed the time range the plumber was going to arrive. I took time off from work to be at the house. Master Fix never showed, never called, and when I called at the end of the day I had to leave a message. Fortunately another plumbing company was called that evening and promptly arrived on time Friday morning to complete the leak test.

Erik and helper arrived at 11:00am as promised. They set up their snake and cleaned out both drains by 11:30, testing them with water to ensure they were clean. They cleaned up and handed me an invoice less than their estimate. I was happy with their service and plan to use them again (especially since they live within 2 miles of my house).

Work was done quickly and efficiently. I would use Eric again.

I contacted Master Fix to get an estimate on a water heater. After waiting for 10 minutes, I called and he apologized, but he forgot about my appointment. I came home from work to meet him at lunch, then had to drive back with no estimate, not a good experience.

I tried to make an appointment for Friday and was put off until Saturday 10am. On Saturday I waited and waited, no Plumber showed up. After 11am I had to make 2 calls to ascertain what was going on. Erik finally called back and said he had an emergency and asked if he could reschedule for Sunday 11am. The change of plans posed no problem here. It would have been nice if Erik had initiated the cancellation-call without having to be urged. Erik arrived on time on Sunday. The entire procedure took a little less than 2 hours that included the travel time to Home Depot, approx. 30 minutes for travel time and purchase of the missing Part. Erik did not itemize the cost for the parts on his bill. I had to ask him for the information. I am incensed that Erik put me through this entire ordeal and then charged me a total of $280 minus parts for 1 1/2 hours of labor. His charges are exhorbitant! In other words his hourly rate in my case amounts to $165 since he only spent 1 1/2 hours on the required project.

They were great. They did a total remodel and everything.

This company will take care of any size project small or large. He cleans up the mess and guarantees it! Very nice people who work with this company. He was to send a receipt electronically. Very well mannered.

They can do just about any job you need done. They have done construction for me, concrete work, underground plumbing, remodeling... basically they can do it all. They are timely, responsive and professional. The pricing is also very reasonable.

I have used their services before. This most recent service was because my water heater burst and needed to be replaced. I contacted him on a Saturday and he was able to come out right away. I called a couple other companies first to get estimates and his rate was the best. He did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. He was very professional.
