I contacted Leak Professionals after conducting a "bucket test" on my pool and discovering that my pool was leaking 300-400 gallons daily. I chose Leak Professionals because of the excellent reviews on Angies List for this company and it's owner, Mark Lewis. When I contacted Mark, he asked me a myriad of questions to be sure that I really needed service and explained what he would do on a service call (pressure tests, etc.). He also told me that there was a minimum charge for these services (I think that was $325). He arrived on time a few days later, and his eyes were eventually drawn to an area I had repaired with two part epoxy several years earlier. A syringe test provided evidence of a leak around that old repair. Mark carefully plotted the extent of the leak and then removed the old epoxy to better show me the part that needed to be addressed again. He explained that the repair I had done myself was competent and that I just needed to do it again. Then he indicated that he did not feel it was a good investment on my part to do pressure testing or any other procedures because he was convinced this was the sole source of my problem. He said he was happy to proceed with additional testing, but he felt like it was a waste of my money. He said if we stopped now, he would only charge me $75.Then he proceeded to explain again to me how to make the best self-repair using the two part epoxy I had used in the past. In total he spent about an hour with me to make sure I could seal the leak again myself. I want to be clear, he was willing and able to do the repair at additional cost, but wanted to provide me the opportunity to do it myself because it was such a simple repair. I was very appreciative that he did not take any advantage to bill for services where other contractors might have done otherwise. In fact, I was so pleased with the way he addressed my situation, I insisted he add an additional $25 to my bill to express my gratitude for the his selfless approach. I'm not the first one in this forum to relate an excellent experience with Mark Lewis, but it's now easy for me to understand why so many others have been generous with their praise.

Leak Professionals owner/operator Mark Lewis is a consummate professional. He detected and repaired multiple leaks in our 35-year old residential pool using a variety of detection methods. EVERY aspect of the work performed exceeded my expectations. I closely monitored his work and was amazed at his steady pace throughout a day-long skimmer replacement process in 95-degree summer heat. In addition to the skimmer, several additional minor fitting leaks were detected and repaired. Once the skimmer was installed, an additional leak was detected and repaired in the same water line. This additional repair came at the end of the work day requiring Mark to be on site until almost 8 PM. His determination to get this additional problem solved was absolutely terrific. He prevented another visit which would have delayed the completion of the job an additional ten days or more. It is rare to find a gentleman of Mark's calibre who combines the skills and experience to solve specialized home repair problems with an attitude of true collaboration with the homeowner. He's friendly and treats the homeowner with an easy affability that makes for good communication. His ability to actually make the repairs after the leaks were detected and handle unforeseen problems was greatly appreciated. He invited the acquisition of additional bids for work to be performed without an attitude. Mark's honesty was refreshing. He stated clearly what he could and could not do. He gave accurate estimates of all costs. He suggested areas where costs might be saved with homeowner participation. Of particular value was Mark's concise explanations of options and alternatives regarding the scope of work to be performed. Mark adhered strictly to his cost estimates. Swimming pool repair is not cheap, but my impression is that Leak Professionals provides top-flight service and unquestioned value at a reasonable cost. The bottom line? After literally years of annoying leaks and unprecidented water loss this year, our pool is COMPLETELY repaired and ready for clean-up and use because of Mark Lewis of Leak Professionals. Instead of some horror story of incompetence and excessive costs, I am extremely pleased to have found Leak Professionals through Angie's List. I could not be more pleased with their work and would recommend this company's services to any and all.

I telephoned Mark and left a message. When he returned my call I explained that my spa had a leak and wanted to schedule an appointment. He asked me a few questions and told me there were a few things I could check myself and avoid a service call. When I checked the valve in question I called him back and he provided additional information. I was able to get a replacement part which fixed my problem. Mark is a rare individual who has the customer's best interest at heart. Rather than schedule a visit and incur a service charge, he walked me through the problem saving me both time and money. I will DEFINITELY call upon him again should I need his services and will recommend him to everyone I know.

Fantastic. Mark found the leak in 45 minutes during freezing weather. We did have to wait a few days before the repair could be completed due to the severe cold. Mark did everything he said he would and communicated frequently to let me know his schedule.

I had a major leak in my return line. Also, various cracks around the skimmers and some pool cracks were leaking. Mark, took his time and fixed all of the leaks, took the whole day. He told me general things about my pool. Showed me how to take care of future cracks, myself. Amazing, I didn't have to add water for days after the leaks were fixed. Mark is very knowledgeable about pools and gave me many tips. And a very nice gentleman. He gave me excellent service with a friendly and helpful manner.

What a relief to find someone to do work who was on time, honest,considerate, and looked for a way to save the customer money in a difficult time. I will recommend Leak Professionals to anyone who mentions that they may need his type of service. He was refreshing and gave me hope that there are still business owners who have honesty and integrity.

Very informative over the phone prior to visit. Discussed services and prices up front. Worked around our schedule. Arrived day of visit right on time. Asked questions, made notes, advised of possibilities, quoted rate again. Stated how long he estimated inspection should take - I felt comfortable leaving at that time and he said would call with details when done. Called promptly at time he estimated and had completed inspection and discovered location(s) of leak. Mark answered all my many questions and made suggestions. Processed credit card charge at that time and left paperwork where requested. All done very efficiently, knowledgebly and with courtesy. Would use in the future and also recommend to others.

Excellent. He told me everything he was going to do and what the possibilities were. We started at the least expensive possibilities and we went from there. He found the leak and patched it and that was it. He was very professional about letting me know what the issues were.

Prompt service, arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, found leaks in the skimmers and explained how to repair if I wanted to do it myself. I asked him to do the repairs which he did promptly.

We had a leak in our pool but didn't know where it was. They came out and found the leak and kept me informed every step of the way and quickly repaired the problem. Very, very good company.

I had Mark in earlier in the year to deal with some leaks in the pool. When he fixed those he identified that I had a leak under the skimmer which I knew needed to be replaced anyway. He gave me a bid and asked me to be sure to call to get some other quotes. After getting other quotes, which were higher, I asked him to put in the skimmer. The project was a full day of work with breaking out the other skimmer and plumbing in the new one. At each stage of the work he was very concerned with doing the work correctly.

I was extremely pleased with Mark. He described my options and was extremely professional. He arrived on time, completed the job quickly and explained what I will need to do in the future. I felt as though he was very honest with me, and very reasonably priced. He did not try to "upsell" me which was greatly appreciated.

Couldn't have gone better. Mark educated us on pools as he explained his findings. He thoroughly inspected the pool (many "pool inspectors" do nothing but check the equipment). His price, professionalism, kindness and service was also WAY better than all the other people I called and got bids from. He personally dropped off the results at my former house 30 miles away from the new house.

Found Leak Professionals through a web search. Called, left a message and got a call back within an hour. Mark, the owner, explained his procedure for leak detection, gave me pricing and said he would only do what was necessary to find and fix the leak (ie, if I did not need a full pressure check, he would not do that). We scheduled for 8 AM the next day. Mark arrived on time and, based on the symptoms I described, quickly checked out the auto filler, determined that was the problem. Repair alternatives were to remove and re-install the auto filler, or to repair the crack with a product called Plast-Aid, which I opted to do. Mark did the repair, retested for leak and the job was done. Based on my previous experience with a franchised leak detection company, I would say I saved over $300 and got excellent advice and service.
