Install went well, even with some issues with the flange from homebuilder install. Always professional group. Just disappointing I can't get the detailos on the toliet I bought? Makes me wonder if I got what I really paid for (whihc was expensive)

They were on time and professional. The service was good.

The service was good. They were punctual. However, they did not fix the problem. It is still leaking but I have not called them back.

The job was done, but I fell it was about $200 to much money!

I have had 2 different plumbers from C&W out to my home on 3 different trips in the past 2 years. The first two experiences were very good, which is why I selected them for my annual inspection. Like others have commented, they will majorly upsell and offer you services that you do not need at that time, but I can tolerate saying "no" for the otherwise good service and expertise.

About to cross the finish line in a kitchen remodel and Murphy's law stricks the plumbing. The new deeper commercial-like sink threw everything off including the dishwasher line, disposal placement, etc... We knew we were out of our depth and called a professional. Sometimes paying the expert is best. Our solution involved cutting through cabinets and drywall to move drain lines. Jason, the plumber who responded, helped us dodge a bullet. He knew of a solution that ended up costing under $200 when we were bracing for a much harder hit at the end of this exhausted renovation budget. More than the plumbing solution, Jason spent time educating me on new mandates regarding 1.6 vs. 1.2 gal toilets, RO water filtration (reverse osmosis) vs. water softeners, hot water heaters vs. tankless systems, etc... Last night we noticed a random little bit of water underneath the sink. I left a message with company, and before I got to the kitchen this morning Jason had range the bell, the family let him in, and had gone. This is my second time using C&W --the first was to remove and replace a stripped fitting on a bathtub drain --a repair I could have completed with enough brute strength. I thought the price for the tub was was a tad high. But after yesterday, I suppose it all comes out in the wash. The second time with C&W was certainly the charm.

They are very professional, dependable and do good work. My only concern is they switched to a set pricing model while I personally prefer to pay for actual costs, i.e. labor for a 15 minute job should be less expensive than for a 2 hour job.

Steve did the work. This was a great experience. I was very satified with their work. I would use them again.

Initially, the service was professional and competent. There was some upselling on location for extended service and inspections which we purchased. However, the hot water heater has not proven to be as efficient as the heater which was replaced and we've been unable to resolve that situation.

Very quick response time. Came to the house because the pilot light would not stay on. Quickly determined the problem and repaired the water heater. Extremely friendly (yes, we are smiling) and was very professional. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Sink replacement they came in and did a very professional and quick job. When the job was completed the tech Jason explained in detail what he did and what he replaced. A very professional person and service.

Experience with C & W has always been good. I have only expressed concern over their high prices.

Called the company this morning and had someone here within a couple of hours, tech examined what was wrong, gave me the price and the fixed the problem. Everything is up front, work is done efficiently and neatly. I have used this company in the pass and the follow up is great, will use this company in the future for sure.

I didn’t like their service that much. It was a little bit too expensive. They didn’t do the work that we asked them to do. I wouldn’t call them again.

DOUG WAS THE PLUMBER WHO DID ALL OF WORK. HE IS WAS WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH.

Their service was really good. It was a little pricey to have that done, but I did appreciate that the tech took his time and explained to me what he was doing. I have a 1.5 year old child and I explained that he likes to play with the faucet. One thing I thought that was really good was that he switched the faucet so he can grab the cold instead of the hot. He just took care of it, which I really appreciated it. We did have one hiccup with the original scheduling. They did adjust the price for the fact that they had to move days. I did go ahead and get their service contract because I had a good enough experience. The price was what I paid after the discount I received for their service contract and I did purchase the hardware myself.

They’re just higher than I want to pay. Their service was good. I have other guys that I can call that are just as good and not as expensive. They advertise a lot and they charge a lot. I didn’t have any problems with the service. I had all the fixtures, but I felt their installation as too high priced. If I couldn’t get a hold of anyone else, I would call them back.

Called C&W out due to loud noises when flushing 2 out of 3 toilets. The rep convinced me that, due to all the rust, I needed the 'insides' replaced, including all the seals (which come to find out was the original issue). He comes in with his hacksaw and several hours later has replaced the inner workings of all three toilets at a cost of about $700 in addition to leaving a big mess. The hardware doesn't even match in one bathroom. I called C&W and all they did was apologize. They never returned any of my money, the hardware still doesn't match, but they did say he doesn't work for them anymore. Oh, and months later when the noises started again, another guy came out and replaced the seals at a discounted price. Guess that is some consolation!

C&W plumbing scheduled a plumber to arrive the next day between noon and 4pm. I was told the plumber would call 45 min before he arrived. I never received a call. At 3:55pm I called C&W to find out where the plumber was? I was told he is running behind and would be there soon. Then I asked how much longer in time? The C&W receptionist said he was around the corner. In my opinion beating around the bush and being non specific. At that point I told the C&W plumbing receptionist that I would not be using their service. I can understand running behind or being delayed, but I expect to be contacted when I have scheduled an appointment and it is not going to be fulfilled. The receptionist apologized several times and wanted to reschedule for another date. I refused the reschedule she said they would offer an additional discount but again the bridge with me was burned. She was very nice and as we ended our call told to have a nice day and apologized one last time.

Called and the tech arrived in 45 minutes.Clean, polite and got to work quickly.Understood the symtoms and how to proceed, with a plan to clear the drain.Fair pricing considering it was after 5:00 pm too!Saved the day....We'll use C&W crew only.Both Sam and Rod are great plumbers!Happy in Lakewood again!

I requested an estimate for plumbing work with a current masterbath remodel. They wanted to charge 49.00 just to come out. There are too many other plumbing companies that will provide this service for free.

We had a sewer backup that was diagnosed by C&W as consisting of two breaks in our main sewer line (one about 4 feet down in our yard and the other about 8 feet below our driveway). We got a competing estimate from another company that came in a little lower than C&W, but we opted to go with C&W because they seemed much more responsive to our questions, and they also assured us that the work they did would be of incomparable quality.The work was performed over about a two-week time frame. In terms of positive things that we can take away from the experience, we would say: 1) One of the two "breaks" (the one below the driveway) that showed up on the camera turned out to be merely a root that had grown within the pipe and become impenetrable. C&W was honest and told us this, and they did not charge us for that repair. A more unscrupulous company might have instead chosen to charge the customer anyway. 2) The initial plumber, Jason, with whom we worked was the consummate professional. Tragically, he was forced early on in the process to relinquish control of the job over to others when he had to contend with a significant personal loss, but it was probably his professionalism that caused us to stick with C&W in the first place.In terms of the negative things, there is really only one, but it is a doozey! C&W's original quote for the repairs (included the concrete work in the driveway) was just shy of $5,000. Once we requested that this quote be itemized, it turned out that roughly $1900 of that quote consisted of only the concrete work (the competitor's quote for only the concrete work had been just $795). The area of concrete to be demolished and patched up would require a paltry 1/4 to 1/2 of a yard of concrete, but the price quote of $1895 should've been enough for at least half our driveway. When we raised this cost concern with Jason beforehand, we were assured that the concrete work performed by C&W's contracted company would be far better than any run-of-the-mill patch job.Well, as the job progressed day by day, my wife and I became increasingly concerned that we were NOT going to be getting the overall high-quality concrete work we were hoping for, but instead we were well on our way to one of the most expensive standard-issue patch jobs ever documented. During the course of this time, our next-door neighbors were invaluable allies, as they are both contractors by trade, and they recognized immediately that we were being raked over the coals by this concrete company.Eventually, we called C&W and asked them for permission to "fire" the concrete company (to their credit, they did allow us to do this), and we instead paid the concrete people directly $325 for their demolition work in hopes that they would then go away (the concrete company had offered to extend the repaired area by almost double its initial area so we could "get our money's worth," which would've meant we would've only overpaid them by $900 or so, instead of $1200; gee, thanks). Then, through our neighbors' contacts, we got the patch job done for a measly $400 more, for a grand total of $725, which turned out to be dirt cheap compared to the originally exorbitant sum of $1895.00. When it was all said and done, we wound up with a final out-of-pocket cost a little over $3,000.As far as C&W is concerned, we remain largely ambivalent. On one hand, they got the job done. On the other hand, we believe that could do a far better job of choosing their business partners and in terms of communication (we were constantly going back and forth with them trying to figure out what was going on). Additionally, once we finished the entire process, we were left wondering who knew what and when. Were we actually supposed to have gotten a more thorough concrete job for $1895.00, but then someone dropped the ball in terms of communication? Or did C&W expect all along for us to fund some concrete guy's summer trip to Cancun? That is probably the number one reason why, although we would possibly recommend C&W in terms of strictly plumbing repair, we never recommend them if the job were bigger than that and required them to bring in outside help. Oh, and the concrete company in question during this whole ordeal was Collin County Concrete.

They were on target. Did an outstanding job. Cleaned up afterwards. I have no complaints.

Yes, they gave me an estimate of costs prior to the work commencing - I actually believe the estimate was high in order that I would refuse to accept their numbers. However, I was in a bind and needed this gas line asap and did not have the time to do the job myself. (i.e. they have the parts and knowledge) So I did accept their way out of line estimate knowing I would later comment about this on Angie's List. Do not have C&W plumbing install a gas line for you. If you have the time do it yourself.

We have used them a couple of times, they were prompt, and they were courteous. I thought they were a little pricey for the time that it took, and it didn’t take very long. They said that because I was on Angie’s List, they were waiving the $49 service fee. They charged me $150, and with the service fee, that call would have been about $200 for ten minutes work on the drain, and that seemed a little pricey. They did what they were asked to do, and I didn’t have much choice about it unless I could do it myself. They told me how to do better maintenance on it, so that I wouldn’t need service on it again, and that was helpful.
